Blood Disorder & Cancer MDs

IMHO: The BEST doctors for understanding blood lab results are BLOOD DISORDER & CANCER docs.

In my experience these docs understood each test measure AND how various test measures together “tell a story.”

My primary care doc would say either “everything looks fine”
-OR-
“OMG. Your blood is too thick!”
Neither response was really correct.

My blood specialist doc explained to me (and he explained to my primary care doc) which test numbers indicated blood thickness (and safe number range). (My primary care doc was no dummy but did not have the extensive blood disorder training of my blood doc).

As it turns out, I had a genetic marker predisposing me to thick blood.
SOLUTION: Every 6 months I
would have 500 cc’s blood withdrawn. I am in/out of office in 60 minutes.

Dead bodybuilders, powerlifters, and the guy who went to you gym—it is a shame. Senseless death.

Ladies and gentlemen, these are NOT good reasons to skip PROFESSIONAL blood analysis:
1. I am young (teens, 20s, etc.)
2. I only take test
3. I take very small dose
4. I have never had a headache

Wtf is this? What’s the point of this post I’m lost? I give blood every 3-4 months too can I have a cookie?
