That is very true. Their handling skills suck. But their use of the 2A to protect themselves made a point. The 2A works. Two people that didn’t have an hour of weapons training between them were able to hold off a violent probe mob. That is power.

Voters maybe yes, when the doors close there barely is any difference between the 2 groups. They all belong to the same club and argue over bathrooms but sign off mostly the same policies are slight variations of them.

Those 2 are prefect reps for the cause. Crazy BLM protestors were trespassing illegally on their property, broke a gate to get in. There have been protests, looting, vandalism and arson around the city and country. They still have their home untouched.

Let me see these criminals go back and enter their property again.

Did these crook BLM protestors even get a summons for the crime they committed that day?

Apparently none of those criminals were even arrested to this day, they are on camera their identities know and Im guessing not even a single arrest was made for both breaking and entering private property.

If I was chief of police Id order an investigation and have every one arrested.

Even if I'm to indulge in the idea that BLM is like the Mongol horde, I think those two are fine because BLM wasn't there for them. Had the mob turned on them, they would have shot eachother. Had they done nothing like most, if not all of their neighbors, they would be fine. Saying the gun prevented their home from being damaged is specious reasoning. The homes in that neighborhood without gun brandishers were fine too.

A better way to think about it would be, if you were in a position of power, what could you have done to ease the tensions that lead to this situation occurring in the first place?

It doesnt matter if they were there for them or not, and they arent inherently criminals for being BLM.

They are criminals for breaking and entering private property. Do they belong in jail? Well, no but they certainly all should get a citation and put on record for what they did.

The gun may or may not have protected their home. I can guess they werent, you arent wrong.

I can image after all the fires and violence that have been set around the country and a loud mob surprising you breaking in your gated community that the guns offered them a sense of security and protection. Its a frightening situation you cant say it isnt.

Its not a time to gamble your life and play games. Im just glad nobody was hurt on either side.

If they were so scared, it would have made more sense for them to get the guns but stay inside behind a locked door.

Not at all, they broke the laws of private property. They broke a gate and illegally entered. There was a private property sign on the gate.

Its hard to plan these things out in your head as its happening, its easy to coach them after the incident happened.

If I'm rich enough to live in a gated community and it was only the gate at the front of the neighborhood, my anger would be directed at the Mayor for not keeping the plebeians we enough placated.

No, I don't think it's that hard to figure out that it's safer behind a locked door. All their neighbors seemed to reach that conclusion. It seems more like they were not scared but rather that they were angry and wanted to menace people with a lethal weapon.

Lot of hindsight and armchair quarterbacking going on here. Point is trespassers came on property. Guns were brought out. Trespassers left property untouched. Whether they could have or should have used their method is no longer relevant. They successfully defended their home, although admittedly, in a very “amateur hour” way. 2A was a success story in this case.

Honestly it comes down to what you posted before about the enemy of your enemy is your friend. I am not a Biden fan, but I see Trump as the biggest enemy of the state we could ever possibly see. So I want to vote Jo, but she has no chance of winning, so it's like giving Trump a vote, which I refuse to do. So I have to go with the lesser of the two evils.

I'm not convinced that many people think that Biden is a great option, but are willing to do what it takes to get the madman out of office.

I think the fact that Facebook is planning for Trump to try illegitmise elections speaks greater volumes to his 'Hitler-esque' more than it does for Bidens.

If Trump loses, I would almost bank of him on him refusing to leave the oval office.
 
Lol, even you guys can’t believe what you are saying. Trump is the epitome of hate and what makes him so scary is that his extreme narcissism overshadows everything he does. As long as it makes him look good or powerful it doesn’t matter who is in the way. Probably the weakest leader we’ve ever had.

So the way I see it, any vote not for Trump is a better one.

Dude every 4 years since I have my first memory of elections the other side is worried the other side won’t accept the outcome of the election. I imagine after I am long dead and gone the two sides will be accusing each other of this. Hasn’t happened before and it’s not going to happen now.

My checking account is better off, my community is looking better, our infrastructure here is looking better, military morale is looking better than ever. He says mean things and enraged reporters and liberals. Big friggin deal. Economy is purring along and I would love to see anyone tell me how their life has been negatively impacted because of a Trump policy. It’s all feelings. Biden has had 47 years in politics and all he has to show for it is racist policies, increased jail populations, he has been the vote on the losing side of everything his whole career. The guy eulogized a frigging Ranking KKK member.

Democrats trying to use the religion angle to dissuade people from the opposition is down right silly. The dems have been against religion for as long as I can remember.
