First Test Cycle

I am currently doing my first real Test cycle. I also used Dbol for the first 8 weeks. My plan was to do a bulking cycle for 10-12 weeks and I am about to start my 11th week of the cycle. Should I continue the plan and stop after 12 weeks, or would there be anything wrong stretching it out to around 16 weeks?

Also, how long should I wait to start my 2nd cycle after I am finished with PCT? I plan on doing a Test/Deca/Dbol bulking cycle for the 2nd cycle. Any thought or advice on either of these questions is appreciated. Thanks.

It depends on your goals and if you're getting good gains. If you want to push it to 16 weeks, go for it. But make sure you have extra hCG and some SERMs on hand to bring you back up. Otherwise, quit at the 12 week make goal you initially set for yourself. The general recommendation for starting a new cycle is probably anywhere from 10-12 weeks. I know you're probably eager to do another cycle, but your body needs time to recover and start producing natural test again.

hows the cycle been this far? Presumably enjoyable?

to answer your question you’ve gotta ask yourself whether your ok with being on TRT for life moving forward (note - I’m not saying any decision will mean that happens by the way)

messing with your endocrine system has risks, ie the main one being that your natural production never recovers to a decent level.

the more you mess with it the more likely you are to be on trt.

longer cycles, less time being cycles, running more suppressive compounds (like trest for example) all increase the chances.

think of it like the lottery (but with a trt as the prize) - the more tickets you buy the more likely to win. Will there guys who buy hundreds of tickets each week and never win anything - yeah sure, likewise there will be that guy who buys one ticket once and wins.

it’s simply about odds/increasing risk (we can also try to move the odds in our favour by using, as my learned friend above said, hcg and good pct etc).

if you don’t want to increase your risk then end it at 12 weeks (which would be a good standard cycle length) and take 16 weeks minimum inbetween (time on plus pct equals time off). Get bloods before your next cycle to make sure your back to normal levels.

but lots of us have ignored that, many guys on here are on trt from doing so (I’ve accepted it’s the way I’m heading).

hope that’s helps
