For us it isnt African Americans, it is our indigenous Maori who are marginalized and targeted.

These are the exact points I've been making! There is rampant inequality in our justice system. The Maori people make up 15% of NZ's population and 50% of the entire Maori population live behind bars.
Talk about inequality and oppression of a race!!!!!!! I mean really, can NZ'ers claim racial equality in the police departments????
Maori people also suffer from unequal unemployment, unequal education, broken families, etc.......

Samm-pedo, I was asleep.Jizzz...do you have input on this? Sounds like you need to comment on the NZ edition of Anabolic Minds instead of telling us awful Americans what we need to do!![]()
Where did I ever say NZ wasn't racist? Point me to that comment, I'll wait.Oh he is certainly always welcome here in my books, but I gotta pick out the hypocrisy when it comes to systematic police oppression, white privilege and cultural genocide when I see it.
Where did I ever say NZ wasn't racist? Point me to that comment, I'll wait.
Lots.of my earlier comments were about racism in police lol. I dont deny it at all, acknowledged it.
Have you ever been a cop? If not, you are in much less of a position to talk about policing than I am lol.Not with his current attitude...trust me.
I ran into these issues a few years ago I think but I totally forgot about it.
isn't it the job off police to go to where the crime is?These are the exact points I've been making! There is rampant inequality in our justice system.
We talk a lot about this in police training.
One of the core police values is Respect for Maori and the Treaty. Oppression breeds crime, and so recognizing that is essential to being fair and hopefully in the long run reduce crime.
It's tough because you'll always see police patrolling high crime areas, but is that a prevention tool or oppressive tool?
Maybe I have...maybe I havent....there are alot of people in the law enforcement profession that don't just put it out on the internet. Especially nowadays.Have you ever been a cop? If not, you are in much less of a position to talk about policing than I am lol.
Your version of evidence is posting a meme and getting upset. Youd do well running for president because it turns out that's all you need to do to get votes lol
No, because it is racist to arrest back people and maorisisn't it the job off police to go to where the crime is?
criminals good...cops badMaybe I have...maybe I havent....there are alot of people in the law enforcement profession that don't just put it out on the internet. Especially nowadays.
Its everywhere. There's no denying that.Oh well, thats freaking terrific!!!!!
I mean your not living by the hypocritical mentality book so thats a great thing.
I think I got the impression that you were justifying NZ police tactics over US tactics, and I agree with some things but at the same time I see racial suppression and inequality of minorities so I had a wtf moment when I ran into that in the moment. I ran into these issues a few years ago I think but I totally forgot about it.

Quote from a leading Anabolic Minds MLM advocate:
This movement has lost all credibility. Everyone worried about the Maori are the REAL racists now.
what good is it to arrest blacks when prosecutors in democrat cities have began to refuse to prosecute? No, because it is racist to arrest back people and maoris
That's the issue we faced. You patrol high crime areas because that's where the issues are, but then those people claim oppression and that they are being labelled a criminal, so they act out in defiance.isn't it the job off police to go to where the crime is?
Ohhh...so they only start committing crimes after they feel they are being labeled a criminal? Gotcha. So I guess the police should just stay away then...and all the crime will cease to exist. That's the issue we faced. You patrol high crime areas because that's where the issues are, but then those people claim oppression and that they are being labelled a criminal, so they act out in defiance.
It's tough to get the balance right because it isn't an overnight fix. Q
difference being the acter-outers don't have guns in NZ. cops have targets on their backs in high crime areas here-the number of cops killed in line of duty is appalling to those of us who believe in law and order---for radical democrats they seem excited to hear about death of a cop---not all democrats feel that way but many. That's the issue we faced. You patrol high crime areas because that's where the issues are, but then those people claim oppression and that they are being labelled a criminal, so they act out in defiance.

they just wanted some bbq...extra crispy!!!In the US they will burn Wendy's down if you fight crime in high crime areas, its racist.
This is the world we live in now.
Wait wtf???? The other day you claimed you walked around with these in your backpocket VVV
Now you have wikipedia? You bookstore opened from quarantine this morning?
You may need to reread my original comment.
No I refuse
You aren't going to read this, but there's quite a bit in psycology around historical policing and oppression:Ohhh...so they only start committing crimes after they feel they are being labeled a criminal? I can tell this will be ignored and you'll continue in your ignorance. Any cop who doesnt understand they toe the line between too oppressive and active policing shouldnt be a cop.
Heres a small example:
You are driving down the road, and your rear taillight is out. A cop sees this and pulls you over.
In one scenario, the cop simply let's you know the tail light is out and says goodbye. He notes this exchange on the system in case you are pulled over again and havent resolved the problem. But you go to an auto shop and buy a light bulb and the issue is fixed. Pretty positive police experience right?
In a second scenario, the cop pulls you over and decides to ticket you. Its only $100 but to you that's more than you have left over by the end of the month. It's tough because you didnt know the light was out, but you recognize it is a infringable offence. You leave, but you are a bit upset that the police officer didn't acknowledge that you simply didnt know the light was out. You now have to reevaluate your finances.
In a third scenario, you get pulled over. The cop decides to check over the entire car. He pulls you up on the light issue, and starts rigorously checking everything else. He then comes up to the window and starts looking inside the vehicle. He is trying to find something else to ping you on. He cant, but you know he is trying. He keeps yelling at you to keep your hands where he can see them. All this for a brake light. He fines you and leaves.
Technically all 3 scenarios are legal. But they range from being a reasonable cop showing compliance to one actively searching for issues to arrest you on. On one hand, the first scenario is someone who recognizes that people should be given opportunity to comply, whereas the last scenario highlights an oppressive cop trying his best to find more faults.
Which one do you think produces the person who dislikes police the most?
criminals dislike the police the most!!!!!!!!!!!
I know of plenty of people who dislike the police who aren't criminals. It's all about the interaction.criminals dislike the police the most!!!!!!!!!!!
so, who on here is donating to the free marquise fund?
honestly, i would not be surprised if he would rather stay locked up, even BLM 'say' they are pissed at him. deservedly so or not, BLM got blamed for his actions.
criminals dislike the police the most!!!!!!!!!!!
I read it. We call this "Letter of the law" vs "Spirit of the law" in the US.You aren't going to read this, but there's quite a bit in psycology around historical policing and oppression:

This is my point lol.I read it. We call this "Letter of the law" vs "Spirit of the law" in the US.
Criminal profiling is not illegal. Many good cops use an equipment violation for PC, and then look for additional PC to search after the initial stop.
Policework 101. I have many LEO friends and have been on many ride alongs.
Yeah i hear what you're saying...but in the larger American cities, the chances of stopping the same person several times a month is highly unlikely. And if that happens, they are usually on parole or probation and have to be checked on.This is my point lol.
You pull them over, find nothing. So you try again in a few days, same result and so on. Do you expect that person to be happy about it?
Now he might not turn criminal because of that (the age old tale of if you accuse someone of cheating enough in a relationship then they will), but if they have children who witness this enough, you might find those children grow up resenting police. And so the cycle continues.
Some people are absolutely bad people and might deserve being checked up on. It's not an all or nothing. But actions have consequences and it can perpetuate the cycle if you're not careful.
when i was a youngster i was a liberal kid into criminal stuff, i hung out with guys who stole cars and some who even robbed people, personally i did a lot of drugs and did a lot of drinking as a underage teenager--i did not like the police back then, even thought of them as pigs, as did most of the other delinquents i hung out with back then.I know of plenty of people who dislike the police who aren't criminals. It's all about the interaction.
Its funny, but I remember a cop ticketing a guy for no rego on his car when his own personal car also didnt have a rego.

then i joined the navy and grew up...in the last 20 years every single interaction i have had with police has been positive...i live in a small city of 64,000 where the police are very respected, i know many of them and wave when i see them and always tell them how much respect i have for what they do.
of course i know many who are trouble makers who are breaking the law in one way or another on a almost daily basis, for some reason their regard for the police is not as high as mine--imagine that.

In the first one, you could argue if he just showed his ID it would have been done. But legally he doesnt need to unless he is under arrest, so he is exercising his legal right to not show his ID.
Those rights exist so that people can exercise them.
