Tell him the truth (yeah I took orals a couple days per week), tell him a lie (well I took this old supplement I found), or maintain indignant denial (no way did I take anything!).
He can see the bloods are off so it doesn’t much matter what you say as far as deception. If your doc is cool you could be honest. If it’s going on insurance documents it might be wise to maintain denial, for the record.

haha, yeah can see him writing ‘defo on roids’ in the notebook as OP left the office after than convo.
but personally I’d be honest op. For starters you want your trt to be properly judged and he needs to know the full story. Hopefully he’s cool but if he’s against it say you won’t do it again and wait until things are settled with your script to take anything else.
I’d maybe play it a bit like ‘a mate from the gym gave me some stuff that I thought was natural but turned out to be roids’ just so you’ve softened it a bit if he’s dead anti

Tell him that you took this test booster that you bought recently that is marketed to increase natual T, since you are on trt you were "concerned" about your natty production, and believed this could help keep the testes somewhat active.
Also be ready for him to tell you to bring the bottle to the office so that he can evaluate, and then tell him that you were getting nauseous from it (liver stress, oral steroids, he ll be like aha! It probably had steroids inside, shady ass companies!) and that you threw it away.
I would do sth like that.

‘Mine gives me a 6 month notice - meaning I make the appointment at the end of current appointment. And know for a few weeks prior I don’t take anything and donate blood and wait 10 days to pin before next appointment.

If you've read any of my recommendations to guys in this situation before, you know I Always recommend allowing PLENTY of time.
It isn't that you just had bad luck this time .... This is a result I would expect.
I Wouldn't try the "oops, too much TRT", personally.
You could try the supplement thing, as someone mentioned it above, but I kinda think that'll be unsuccessful.
IMO, you are left with being honest (in which case you could possibly end up being branded a steroid abuser).
Or ....
... Denial.
I personally would go that route (and have).
He could drop you as a patient in any scenario, but at least with denial, nothing is proven against you.

I vote denial and retest soon when you know blood markers will be fine. These tests are far from infallible. I've had my free test show up at 5 times the upper limit from nothing but TRT, doc freaked out, retested, and it was just above the upper limit where it should be.

I know I come straight off gear as soon as I hear from my TRT docs that I’m due a blood test, even when I know I have a consultation I give myself a month at least of ramping it down

How does he know just from your blood work alone that it HAS to be roids that you are doing. It sounds like he KNOWS what to look for if one is taking roids on top of TRT.

Doc doesn’t know he’s on roids OP is tricking this convo to have the infos he want. His labs are shitty and he knows doc is going to wonder what’s happening. No doctor is ever going to accuse someone like that out of the blue. This is total bs. He might suggest and ask, did you take anything? But would never say it like that.

Everytime i have been there he always said remember our goal is not to get big but to have a quality life.

If this is all the truth, a doctor is not your body and life manager. He is your servant, that receives payment from you. There are TRT clinics out there that are not overpriced that will take care of you, and won't mind if you "get big". The same pediatrician that saw me growing up, I went to interview him about being my children's pediatrician before my first was born, and he told me me he was taking medical autonomy away from me practically, and it would be for my kids own good. Needless to say, I didn't see him again.

Having after-the-fact anxiety changes nothing. It is like going ape crap after knowing that you ejaculated in a girl, but aren't sure that she was on the pill.
So, you have two options.
1. Lie - tell him your gym 'bro gave you some allegedly natural supplement that turned out to be SD. My bet is that you will lie; call it a hunch. As you've suggested, you could tell him that you are so mathematically deficient that you took three or four times the prescribed amount of TRT (let's remember, that is 300% or 400% as much as normal), but then again you could also tell him a monkey flew out of your butt. Either of those options are pathetically silly; or
2. Tell the truth - tell him you took SD.
So, lie or tell the truth. But if you lie, don't make it sound like some sort of goofy "my dog ate my homework" stuff, at least make it plausible.
I am not coming down on you but you should have known, prior to using SD, that SD is not some little DHEA-based PH, but a real (and very strong) DS.

If your doctor has dealt with steroid users for 20 years, he will most likely know your lying. So before you tell him anything, ask if its all confidential

Many MDs use a portal that allows the patient to log in and see his/her results. Those servers are encrypted and not anywhere near as vulnerable as email to being accessed without credentials.
