In all seriousness, no I dont see color, I see a chance to get to know someone and judge them individually.....but I will stereotype somewhat based on appearance and demeanor. If you have tattoos all over your face or walking around the street with powder all under your nose with a glock in your pants Im likely to walk across the street no matter what the hell color, race, nationality, if your from mars, liberal, etc......Well if your liberal Im likely to turn the other direction, lol just kidding.

If true, that’s an extreme action. She articulated herself well, and even went out of her way to explicitly say that black lives do matter.
That said, I don’t know saying that black lives also matter is somehow putting blacks above the rest of the human race, when it’s really them saying they don’t feel like they’re treated as equals, and want that to change.
If I say that Jews shouldn’t be discriminated against, and if I make a museum to remember all the times in history Jews were persecuted, does that somehow mean I don’t think blacks have also been, and still are, discriminated against? Advocating for one group doesn’t mean you think none of the others matter, or that they don’t have it rough too.
Can you do me a favor? Go to CHAZ..or CHOP..or whatever its called now and recite what you just posted. Let me know what happens....and for the love of god do not hold an American flag doing it....just looking out for you.

There is a difference between going back into history and figuring out the problems of today. History should be documented, black history, jewish history, tibetan history, etc....but what our ancestors did and how the previous generations did is in the past...and certainly should always be discussed in a proper context of education.
Today's problems should in my opinion be about who now, what now, where now, and why now. Im not really interested in hearing about slavery anymore outside of historical content. That has absolutely nothing to do with today anymore, and nobody alive is a fault for that or should pay for that in any way. Neither should anybody apologize for what other people did.

I can focus on one group and not think any others I don’t are any less worthy or deserving of respect. Just like if I donate to cancer treatment, that doesn’t mean I hate stray puppies because I didn’t also donate to them.

Well if you say that, of course nobody should be discriminated against. But as of today the huge popular trendy movement is BLM, so thats the hot button topic.
Now, if your going to start a Jewish movement to stop discrimination Im going to look at the whole picture and think this over for myself. If you want to start a campaign to stop people from walking up to jewish kids and bullying them punching them in the mouth and running away Im all down for that. If your movement is about ending the black suppression of jews I think Im going to walk the other way.

Yes, but one is among private people (admittedly jerks and criminals if they beat people up) and one is the government that supposed to be protecting and serving instead oppressing and abusing.
If we all had to have completely clean closets before we said the government should straighten their s**t out, then NO ONE would ever be allowed to criticize anyone. No group is perfect. Not blacks, not whites, not Jews, not Muslims, etc. I mean, most Buddhists are pretty cool, but NOBODY is perfect.

Government usually oppresses and abuses people, its natural. You cant change that, maybe for a short little while but you dont end up with that. Even though historically Im correct most people still wont listen to me and keep asking for more of it and look for government to fix the problems it keeps creating instead of for the most part, go away.
If government oppression and abuse is people's thing, I would suggest to people including the BLM group to put their energy and support Judge Gray and Larry Shape this election if they make it past the primaries. Clean out all the big government Demokraps and Repulisvkins out of government and vote small government "L" or "I" all across the board.

Never said that the government is the solution to ending racism among the people, as in a private citizen abusing another private citizen, but surely the government can limit how much the police abuse the people by passing laws the make certain abusive behaviors illegal and/or having harsher penalties for said behaviors. That isn't giving the government some undue amount of power it can use to further abuse people, like NSA spying for example, as this is really, literally, only penalizing bad cops, not targeting the entire population in the name of security. You know?

Yeah they are doing some things in NY and gave every police department in the entire state an ultimate. Get with your communities, see what they want and reform by April 1st, 2021 or you no longer get state funding. Then there already was an executive order signed to ban choke-holds and have a more independent investigation of police officers when there is a complaint rather than localities investigating....more is to come. This is a win not only for BLM, but everybody in NY....although I have other ideas in mind, its in the right direction overall.

Im telling you, its hard to get up to date info on the L party, their website sucks and they are bad at promoting it...or not enough funds there.
I actually did go to the election website to get a sample ballot for the primaries and they only gave a sample of the Demican part, they totally skipped everything else. Ballotpedia was no help.
At this point Id lean towards her but I have an open mind to see if any other "I" pops up because Im not loyal to any party. Just so you know, Vermin is something I just like to joke about, but he does all of this for a reason.

He also shared a “news” story and said that the man who was pushed down was a plant, staged, and that he fell harder than he was pushed. This is him DIRECTLY and EXPLICITLY condoning, or at least excusing, bad cops by saying that what happened was fake.
I HOPE this order is good, and effective, but Trump has been far from a shining example of fighting police brutality.
He also tweeted, during protests, that secret service were waiting for action and would love to badly hurt, or worse, people who breach the fence. Granted, you do have to respond to people trying to breach the White House, likely with violence, but government agents should NEVER “love” to inflict serious harm, or worse, on fellow Americans, even if they have to use violence to stop threats. You shouldn’t LOVE it, and admit to loving it. That’s sick.

I think it depends on the level of evidence. The crimes should need to be incredibly heinous, and the evidence would have to be entirely absolutely 100% explicitly clear that the person was guilty, beyond the slightest shadow of a doubt, to even consider it.

You are right, I totally agree I go extreme to exert a point often. Thats how I express myself. Going i the right direction is always a positive and far more realistic that what I usually call for in the short run. I dunno what Dump's executive order entails, Ill be looking at that soon.

Its completely relevant to the topic. Why do you think the cop showed up to harass Eric Garner? All he was doing was selling Lucy cigarettes on the street to make himself a buck. the City and State are upset they arent getting their drug tax cut out of what he is doing so the City's extortionists police harassed him. He showed a little resistance because they wanted to put him in a cage and they choked him out and killed him for it.
Police reform should really start with laws and public policy....police are set up to fail. Why are they fighting the war on drugs in the first place? Why is it a crime to hold onto the fruits of your labor? The police would reform by default by undoing bad policy. This is why Eric Garner died and it can be prevented with law reform, not even a need for police reform. Avoid any situation for these reasons in the first place.

Also, plenty of bad cops will harass someone with ZERO actual reason or crime being committed. Have you seen videos of cops in these protests bumping into people and then saying they were assaulted? Or no-knock raids on the wrong homes? Or police pulling someone over and planting drugs in their vehicles? You help stop bad cops by ensuring that abuses of power are illegal, that departments don’t cover up said illegal acts, that good cops aren’t afraid to report bad ones, and you ensure that said illegal acts result in legal action and whatnot.
Yes, the war on drugs is f**ked up and should end immediately, but talking actual tax reform nationwide is a different story entirely, and you’re not going to be thrown in jail for not paying taxes once by accident, only if you habitually don’t do it and insist on not doing it when they tell you to again.

Im saying "disobey" the law, lol no not that, If you want police reform we need to heavily consider law reforms. They go together as after all they are the enforcers of it. Income tax laws can probably be put lower on the list and reformed much later down the road, the biggest thing screwing up these communities is the war on drugs.
So, Ill say the two top priorities would be all the police reform with all the issues your speaking about that I agree with and the war on drugs. They really, really go together and helps reduce abuse of other agencies such as the DEA and FBI.
