The amount of things that he doesn't understand is vast. They likely have been avoiding this situation, but he forced their hand with the murder conspiracy bullshit. So now he's attacking yet another US company because they're not willing to bend the knee.

Dump is absolutely right that big tech censors and tweaks their platforms to oppress certain political views and information.

He is damn wrong that both he and the us government have the right to be proper enforcers of free speech on private platforms as much as I hate what a group of them have been doing over the past 5+ years.

Plus, this is more about "his" views, not views in general. Its phony, and with government it always will be.

If Dump really wants, he can spare money hiring illegal immigrants building his next future projects and allocate his resources to growing his own social media platforms and he could do whatever he wants with it.
 
With any PRIVATE company, they have the absolute right, when you agree to their TOS and EULA, to kick you off and block your IP address forever. That is what you sign when you come on this site, and any other platform.

He has no rights to have any account on, but not inclusive or exclusive:

- Instagram
- or name any creepy site he probably belongs to that caters to men who want to sleep with their daughter...

It's all based on lies and playing the victim in order to victimize others. There are all kinds of conservative "influencers" all over social media. This is no different than whites and Christians claiming they are persecuted while enjoying privilege of either or both. Trump and his supporters never gave a single **** when foreign countries were influencing elections through social media (they didn't even want it investigated), but now that king snowflake got his feelings hurt, it's a big deal.

This is ones of the first things my tin foil head thought, did the government or some special interests instigate the violence?

And did the police (either as a group, or more likely a few independently) have a political motive to have their building upgraded or location moved?

Yes, thats what I am thinking, but also this helps gain public support (not the protestors obviously) for the police along with de-legitimizing all the peacful protests as a whole.

They have been playing the same tricks for decades, its guerilla warfare.
 
Would it be terribly insensitive of me to claim that many of these "protestors" dont really give one sh1t about George Floyd but are acting out of some sort of primitive desire to just fuk sh1t up, presumably under the protection of group incognitos? Like, I can go smash some sh1t up and what the cops gonna do, arrest all of us? I mean, who doesnt like the idea of just smashing sh1t up? George Floyd is merely the excuse, not the reason.

Yeah, some of Tea Party guys were probably the same way.

It happens but it doesn't delegitimize the protest and it's far too often as an attempt to do so.

There will be SOME people there for just that reason, but even me coming from a different country and being a different race i totally see how this infuriates people. Whatever the truth of it, it looks as though the police are murdering and brutalising people and perception is reality. If i were there i might be rioting too, forget about colour the police are there to protect all people and keep order and something like this is an attack on all free people wanting to live their life free of the threat of murder by the police they pay to protect them. It seems to me their is a systemic problem with police in general in USA, their whole ethos appears to be controlling people and lawding their authority at all times.

I mean, looting a Target isn’t exactly a productive protest. I’m not claiming to support or not support any illegal actions, but at least the people destroying police property have some sort of logic behind their violence; the police acted in a racist and violent manner, and often cover up for said actions. What did Target do? Again, not claiming I support or don’t support anything.
 
Maybe im wrong here but i just don't see any constructive use of this white priv statement, what does it achieve ever. Am i supposed to feel bad for being born white? I'm not proud to be white because its not an accomplishment so i refuse to feel ashamed either. I wish there were no racism and cops would stop killing people thats the bottom line, there should a nationwide overhaul of policing in America i think because something is very wrong from top to bottom of the whole system.

The way I see it, it’s silly to feel proud or ashamed of something you have no control over. I mean, appreciating your cultural heritage is acceptable for anyone, but if you think it makes you better or worse than anyone else, then it’s an issue. If you can’t claim to reap the benefits of the good things your ancestors did, then you shouldn’t have to be responsible for the bad things they did.

That said, the bad things they did may still have a ripple effect on today’s society, and, while you in no way are responsible for said bad actions, and should not feel any guilt for things you never did and are not at all responsible for, you may still want to be aware of said societal problems and try to help fix them. Like this whole mess with racist cops. A White person is less likely to be abused by a cop. That isn’t the fault of the white person, but they should be aware of it, and help to make it so that everyone is equal in the eyes of the law

The term is a bit tongue in cheek. I hear ya. When I first heard it, I thought people were alleging my life was like a crowd surf down easy street but that's not what they're trying to say. Things we take for granted like not being murdered are things they are calling a privilege because they don't have the luxury of taking that for granted.

Like the tea party was about more than just the tea tax, these protest/riots are about more than just this murder. Target and the owners thereof are part of the class that treats the lower class as sub-human. If it's ok to pay a person a wage that starves them to death, is it a far cry to suffocate them?

The list is endless. I'm white and have privilege just walking down the street that I'm less likely than a black man to cause somebody else fear or to have somebody call the police or have those police detain or kill me for no other reason than somebody saw somebody that looked "suspicious." White privilege doesn't mean your life is without problems or struggle as a white person, but you have advantages over a person of color in the exact same situation. I've also been white and grown up in a mostly black neighborhood and gone to a mostly black school. There were times that I was targeted or jumped for being white, but those are one-off occurrences and far outweighed by the rest of my life. Society views whites and black differently and if you don't believe that being white and male is an advantage, then there is nothing that I can say because you've already made up your mind and it's not based on facts.

The reason I brought up white privilege was as an example of people holding power and claiming to be persecuted. Nobody is asking you to feel ashamed or proud because it's not about you.

What? Target treats their workers as “sub-human?” Comparing paying minimum wage (even though I think Target pays a little more than minimum wage IIRC) to literally murdering people while in a position of authority, and then often covering it up, and allowing it to go unpunished, really, incredibly, horribly, undermines the reprehensible police brutality that sparked these protests and violence. This is insulting...

I'm just saying that in both situations you have the people in power essentially saying if you're in a certain group you don't deserve to live. Whether it's because a cop can straight up murder you or because a corporation can take your labor value and leave you to starve.
