They are trying to soften the blow on the suicide rate. These politicians have no concept of reality and they think some crappy blanket paycheck of 1,200 is going to help them in any way long term.

You cant solve a crisis by fabricating another artificial one.

Remind you, New York is primarily a red state, the corruption of blue is all consolidated in NYC, the Capital region and a couple tiny pockets here and there.

Most of the region including myself cant stand His Majesty King Cumho.

a whole lot of people for several generations are going to be severely hurt if economy goes in the crapper.

my projection--poor blacks and whites will be competing with illegals for what few jobs will be left.

This is the biggest shyt on our US Constitution since 9/11. They are never going to let go of their new-found powers.

Actually, you can also argue that these illegal powers had been set in place for decades, especially starting with Reagon and "Rex-84."

2-3% compared to what? If the country collapses perhaps 5% will die of malnutrition and additional 4% from suicide.

Anyways, school system is outdated, overpriced and you have to steal from people who dont like children to fund it.

Personally I think now is the time to move to full time online remote only schooling. This country is broke and cant afford these crappy public buildings anymore.

The modern education set up as is today by both Demicans and Republicrats....its too a big area of research to discuss here in detal (note: 2+hour history of western education in 4th video below.) And yes, you are not wrong, the "left" wants to sprout its own little Nazi's within the same system they all support.

The future is online, but Republicans want to stop progress so that people don't have to work hard and learn new skills. If it was up to Republicans, they'd do away with schools so that it'd be easier to trick people into joining the military and then those that survived could work crap jobs that teenagers could do and vote against their interests the rest of their lives.

So today they were asked about the statistics in NYC in the Cumho press conference today, and his professional (forgot title) mentioned that part of the different stats that were revealed the day before were that CCP Virus deaths were also accounted from police going to homes of someone who deceased and members reporting coughing, fever, etc.....

So in summary there is a chunk of CCP Virus deaths that arent even doctor identified.

Does 8k or 10k really matter? Probably not too much but its good to try to get a estimate since its not hard to separate.

If I have time Ill find the exact spot in the video conference.

I'm surprised you're not focusing on the lack of tests, especially since Trump promised that tests wouldn't be an issue and then changed his story to not everybody will get tested. If you're looking for who benefits from people not getting tested, it's not Cuomo.

So Cumho gets into the statistics and he admits it needs further refining and categories. Right now its more so as estimates and they had been going under CDC guidelines, but it looks like this is going to be better broke up after-all.

It starts at the 40 minute mark, he addresses it and then his expert comes and follows up and the statistics. Its not too long if you were interested. And on another note, notice its not a stupid shytshow like Dump's conferences have been.

Im 100% on board with testing issues. Its a big mess for sure, Im also worried about rushing with all these new products and getting inaccurate testing kits. I dunno enough about this but I hope they run through good responsible protocols before rushing things to the market, at least till then fight to produce the tests that already seem to be fine.

Yeah, this isn't at all what you were saying, but in your defense she said the press misreported it. What Cuomo is saying is correct too, these numbers are what they are, but you can't derive accurate rates from them. You'd have to test everybody who is sick or not to see who tests positive. Right now you just have the number of tests even available for how many people actually go to their doctor or a hospital.

Breaking it down into categories, or stratification, makes sense to have tested vs presumed, but past that can get messy. Like if you stratify by race or sex, it tells you less about who is likely to catch the virus and more about who is willing to go get a test.

Too late. Because grand scientist Trump lower the regulations to get tests out, you'll see a flood of inaccurate tests. A diagnostic is only as good as the control that it's tested against and if they're not accurately validated, then it's false negatives and positives.

And going back to the original conversation. I'm not saying that politicians won't fudge numbers, but it doesn't make sense to me to increase the number of patients now, but I could totally be missing something.

My skepticism also and more so the illusion of inflated numbers. If they reported on TV morning, day and night auto accidents and showed a map of bigger giant red dots in areas of mortality that can have an effect on people and accepting policy making. Or if started doing this with the flu....yes I know Corona is more contagious and deadly, but is it really that, that much worse? Cant they use the same strategies to convince the public to just stay home and social distance every single flu season by displaying pokidot maps and telling people countless times your loved ones are going to die? Ive had the flu multiple times and I certainly felt like I was dying at times. On another note, since Ive been primarily working from home since 2005 I barely get sick as often anymore, I do know social distancing works...but is it worth it?
