Forgot to add, I did see an interview with a doctor 2 days ago who stated hospitals get some 13k for admitted CCP Virus patients and 39k if they go on a Ventilator but need to confirm that as Im skeptical of Dr. and didnt get a chance to yet, Ill try a bit later falling behind work. Online business has been record breaking for me since the crisis started.

Truly happy for you!

I really think they should persue altitude sickness therapy for those with Covid. Diamox. They are suffering same symptoms. Pulmonary Edema. Look it up.

Ill see what I can dig up later if possible, cant go based on what I heard but see actually $$$ involved if any to paint the picture.

I historically dont see government giving a crap about being correct or not. They are masters of changing the narrative and it will be no time until the next crisis grabs holds of the minds of society and telling them what to obsess about.

Why are saying the government though? Government and media are going to do what they do regardless of numbers. Questioning the raw data is questioning the reports being generated by physicians in the hospitals and scientists/physicians at the CDC.

There is no way that flu patients lying around on ventilators are going to bring in more revenue than elective surgeries and other high cost procedures. Doctors are getting pulled from all sorts of specialties where they'd be bringing way more money into the hospital.

glad to hear your business is doing so well!!!

Its really intense, alot of online business especially sole proprietors that government hasnt been able to "shut down" have a mass amount of business. Not all I dont mean it that way, many also have had supply chains cut off and getting hit hard.

The thing is I have to consistantly go out in public for a non-essential business activities to keep this alive, my home stock is drying out havent been able to rebuild it from the holidays. Going out for me is a must. My accessible product supply is drying up extremely quick so I have to be very careful with spending. I was finally was able to apply for unemployment last friday on the new NY updated website and no response as of yet. I have to listen to Cuomo every day saying he has no idea why people need to go out of the house and how he wants everybody to just stay home and Im almost ready to flip my TV over, lol

Thats because they have to, government is telling/pressuring them to do so. That would lead me to believe that the potential of that consequence would only increase potential incentives for some institutions to liberally label people as Corona patients if automatic guaranteed chunks of Fed money comes in. They really need it more to keep the ship afloat from lost revenue.

This is just my own theory.

Ok this is where I ran into the Hospital Incentives for Corona Patients, it came from a doctor and he is also the Senetor of Minnesota.

Minnesota: Republican state senator Scott Jensen, who is also a medical doctor, says the AMA is encouraging doctors to over-count coronavirus deaths. He revealed that “Medicare is determining that if you have a COVID-19 admission to the hospital you get $13,000. If that COVID-19 patient goes on a ventilator you get $39,000, three times as much.”

Several days ago, he told local media he received a directive from the Minnesota Department of Health to list COVID-19 as the cause of death on death certificates even if patients were never tested for it. When asked why officials would want to inflate the death statistics, Jensen said, “Fear is a great way to control people, and I worry about that.”

This is completely retarded. The AMA didn't send this; the CDC did and it's not weird to send direction during a pandemic. Read the letter he refers to because it doesn't come off as the wink wink just put COVID as he is claiming. It several times says things like "Similar to many other diagnoses, a cause-of-death statement is an informed medical opinion that should be based on sound medical judgment drawn from clinical training and experience, as well as knowledge of current disease states and local trends" and "Ideally, testing for COVID–19 should be conducted, but it is acceptable to report COVID–19 on a death certificate without this confirmation if the circumstances are compelling within a reasonable degree of certainty."

He should use his power as a senator to find out why we didn't and still do not have accurate tests available for everybody.

Feel free to show evidence on any of this. Otherwise, bigfoot and chemtrails are just as legitimate.

Based on watching King Cuomo's press conferences thats what he made it clear he intended to do as executive which is to tell the hospitals to hold off non-essential surgeries. Other than that, its all street.

On Sunday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced all non-critical elective surgeries will be canceled starting Wednesday.

Pretty sure that's only for essential service workers, and the businesses have to supply the workers with the masks, no?

Holy hell people, how hard is it to post a link/reference to back up your claims so we don't all have to guess at where it came frm or if it's true EVERY SINGLE TIME? If you found the claim somewhere, you clearly have the link/source, so share it when you make your post/claim here, PLEASE...

Here is info on the Excecutive Order future President King Cuomo signed today now that the media had a chance to write about it.

All people in public in New York must have a mask or mouth and nose covering, Cuomo announced on Wednesday during his COVID-19 press briefing.

New Yorkers must wear it in a situation where you are not maintaining "social distancing."

"For example, if you are riding on public transit where it is impossible to maintain social distancing, or walking on a busy sidewalk, you must wear a face-covering like a bandana or a mask," Cuomo said.

New Yorkers must have their face covered when in public, public transit or busy streets, according to Cuomo.

"Any situation in public where you can't maintain social distancing. If you can't maintain that social distancing, you have to wear a mask," Cuomo said.

Cuomo said New Yorkers have three days to obtain a mask for face covering. The executive order officially goes into effect on Friday.

New Yorkers are allowed to cover faces with a medical-grade mask or a cloth covering that covers the nose and mouth.

As of now, there won't be a penalty, Cuomo said. If people don't follow it, people could be fined, he added.

Thanks man. Yeah, pretty wild stuff.

That's what I'm saying though and is what a lot of hospitals already have done so they can take care of all the apparently "imaginary patients" coming in. These doctors and other health care workers are putting their own health at risk as a lot of them are working specialties where infectious disease isn't a huge concern.

Maybe Im sounding too much of a pessimist on the board, which Im not for the greater majority of practicing doctors.

I kind of looked at it through the perspective of Federal Education programs for example.....localities would conform to non-nonsensical one size fits all centralized policies in order to keep the money rolling in rather than maximizing the students potential. I just see money as a heavy influence in decision making on a few especially when you go up the chain. The teachers do their jobs and want the kids to succeed but money trickles down to their independent decision abilities.

My big worry is and always will be is facial contact. Now you put a mask on and off and those buggers can directly smear on your face. Plus, all the air is getting through the pores and holes and not protecting you unless you wear a fully sealed proper medical mask.

I guess the only benefit here is that your not spitting and misting all over the place but I dunno this is all too crazy ridiculous for me.

Wow, just found out Congress is hard at work for the people by extending their recess for their so called "essential" jobs until May the 4th.

You figure they can all still work full time with this day of technology but whatever.

I've heard that most masks, and improvised masks, are intended to keep people who may have the virus from spreading it to other people, not to keep the person who is wearing it from catching the virus. I guess if there are a lot of asymptomtic carriers out there, them wearing masks could prevent them from spreading it to as many people.

Those numbers you're quoting though are for Medicaid patients, right? They do have one size fits all crap like that, but hospitals aren't getting bonuses for COVID patients like this guy is implying. Money is a huge influence on everybody, but I'm telling you this isn't a money maker compared to what a lot of these doctors could be doing. The doctors I've spoken to want this over as soon as possible.

The pores would be a bigger issue if this was an airborne disease. Cloth masks aren't the best, but they're what we got and easy for people to improvise. One drawback is false sense of security as people should still keep their distance.

Great Task Force Briefing today.

Trump 2020!!!!

I cant wait to watch these debates....Biden is getting worse by the day...lmao

Thats going in history books as Dump's "Mission Accomplished" moment.

He seems to have had quite a few of those. Anybody know which page of this thread was the one where so many were telling me I was wrong for saying the North Korea deal wasn't going to happen?

Ahhh...confirmed.....The other big one was when he was going to be the one to accomplish everlasting peace between Isreal and Palestine right at the beginning. That was a clear indicator that the next 4 years were going to be full crap.

Well he keeps handing jobs to Jared who can't get any of it done. He should have Melania's boyfriend, Hank Siemers, take a shot at one of these projects since he's the one that seems to be able to actually close on deals.

The only thing Obobo was ever concerned with was the pocketbooks of all the corporations, bankers, top of the insurance/health industry elite, wallstreet and Military Industrial Complex and who ever else bribed his way to the top.

How come Cuomo doesnt have a nickname?
I think 'democrat' is bad enough!!!

The only problem with the Lois Lerner situation is that Dump still supports and props up with IRS when they should be completely eliminated.

heads should have rolled with lois lerner situation...

I put part of this post in another thread but added on in here as it's political in nature. I'm making an effort to keep politics in this discussion.

Worldwide
2,115,624 people worldwide affected by Covid-19
6.7% Morality Rate and climbing. Yesterday, it was 6.5%

In the USA
650k people affected at a 5.0% mortality rate and climbing.

Let's get back to work of course, and there are plans out there. It's too bad nobody here is listening.
You need to test people, and it should be Federal Government effort put forth, not reliant on each state to do so.
It may feel good to go out to a parade and wave your flag, but it's truly irresponsible.

Expect more cases in Ohio, and Michigan to jump because of those coordinated rallies / I mean armed protestors. They were blocking traffic on purpose? So, all those in favor of supporting front line essential workers, doesn't that seem odd to put people's lives at risk because nurses; doctors, ambulances could not get through the traffic? Quite selfish.

heads should have rolled with lois lerner situation...

That was a clear case on political oppression on US citizens, I had a "tin foil" feeling it was going on, but damn that is still really scary.
