I'm getting out of the house if weather is nice. Go shopping, still holding outdoor activities (gymnastics, fitness and bodybuilding training).

Epicor and Immune Support XT.
1/4 lb. Of quality cannabis.
A few bottles of Whiskey.

Probably do alot of fucking.

Switching workouts from powerlifting to body weight/kettlebells. Looking to maybe grab some bands and make a T-Handle(of I cam find plates for it). Might finally focus on getting conditioned and actually do some HIIT.

Also might try to order some Kratom: Hydrochloroquine is a naturally occurring constitute of Lratom. How much? I have no clue, but win win if you enjoy the high.

Go shopping?

Most states are enacting "stay at home orders"

Whiskey and cannabis sounds solid with HIIT.

Hydrochloroquine is a drug though it's not found in kratom.

I always just say “go shopping” when I’m talking about grocery shopping, since that’s the only shopping I ever do lol.

I work from home to begin with and have a garage gym, so business as usual here. Enjoying the lack of business travel and trying to make the most of it.

Well, my wife is about to run out of face masks at work, and nobody has them. I just ordered some KNP95 masks for $50, and some Nitrile Gloves while I was at it. (She's petite) Hopefully they'll arrive in 3-5 days as stated. She's relatively high risk and works in the lab and is constantly everywhere otherwise helping the entire group.

My plan is to sit tight and be me, and worry about her.
I never thought I'd be on a scavenger hunt for disposable medical masks. lol.

Sorry to hear. I'm an union insulator and we go through boxes weekly. I've been out of work for six months because of an injury. Wish I had had the chance to stock up. I did find a half face respirator in my trunk, but only one pack of filters. I'll use it only if it gets real bad, and I still need to go get groceries.

Best of luck to your wife.

I don't think enough people seem to understand the severity of what's happening. Right now there are major shortages of basic food and other supplies. The national guard is in most states preparing for rioting. Also there's a great risk of the only US treatment not being available since rich people and doctors are stocking up on it. I'm surprised you guys seem to think it's going to be over in a few weeks when it's probably going to be closer to several months.

Most hospitals don't even have tests yet much less any approved treatments. If this goes airborne we could be looking at millions dead just in the US alone.

It’s really gonna hit the fan here in about 3 weeks when people have bills to pay and don’t have any money. $1k checks from the gov will get spent quick. After that, all hell is gonna break loose.

This may pave the way for Universal income and full automation of transport and delivery services.

I can easily see an AI and Automation Tax helping to pay for this.

All the testing that needs to be done, and all the uninsured but infected who will need treatment could potentially pave the way for universal healthcare in the U.S.

I also wonder if we will see paper money start to be replaced by digital currencies or atleast a rapid increase in contactless payments. I can currently tap my credit card at many places.

Or everything will go back to how it was. 'Cause sometimes **** don't change.

Everyone is talking about Hydrochloroquine. Anything else shown to help?
Its a combo of HydroCloroquine and Zithromycin. I have the Z pack, almost pulled the trigger on HydroCloroquine a few weeks ago but it was $400. Now there is no chance to get it. High dose injectable vitamin C has shown promise. 15,000-25,000mg

That is hard to get as well. Im taking zinc and vitamin C, D3

From the article thats really only an issue with long term use (5 years), IE Lupus and other auto immune patients. A 7 day course of treatment is safe

That was the 2011 article, my bad. There are 2014; 2016; and 2020 articles that state this is more prevalent than first thought, but also stated in one of them, I forget which stated it stays toxic even after stopping taking it.

My concern is nobody should be self-medicating for this. Preventive medicine is one thing.
This is another.

This is an extreme example of a terrible mistake but wow:

"A man has died and his wife is under critical care after the couple, both in their 60s, ingested chloroquine phosphate, an additive commonly used at aquariums to clean fish tanks.”

Avoiding NSAID’s in regards to COVID-19 is pretty controversial in the first place. Search “ibuprofen COVID-19” and it’s pretty conflicting. Of course make your own judgement call, but worth researching both sides

Just got my COVID-19 test kit in the mail today btw and I'm negative! Not that I was worried but alot of people show no symptoms.

How did you get that test kit?
I bought it online. Alot of so called life sciences type companies (this is not a name it's a description) make testing kits for just about everything. Just like you can order some blood or drug tests directly from companies. I probably should have gotten the brain swab test to be 100% certain but I admit I can't shove a 1 foot q-tip into my nose up into my brain. I'd rather shoot myself with a gun and survive a flesh wound than that.

The FDA starting issuing emergency use authorizations for covid-19 test kits recently since the US is drastically low in them so alot of companies are developing them. If you get one I would definitely take a hard look at the company or quality of the kit.

None...but with all the reports of people being asymptotic I figure I rather know than find out later I'm a carrier. I got a 20 pack so if I go out and someone coughs on me I can always just check myself. Of course if I have any actual symptoms I will bite the bullet and go directly to a drive thru hospital testing center for a brain swab.

I admit after reading about this new study and having been out in public before the lockdowns it gave me pause.

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/act-like-you-have-coronavirus_l_5e721aafc5b6eab7793fc120

Early in the novel coronavirus pandemic, health experts suggested symptomatic people were driving most of the spread of COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus. But a new study questions whether people who didn’t show any signs of the disease are spreading it more than originally thought.

According to a model from researchers out of China, “stealth transmission” contributed to the rapid rise in cases.
“Stealth transmission refers to the fact that people who have mild, non-discrete symptoms or are asymptomatic are contributing greatly to the spread of the virus,” said Kirsten Hokeness, professor and chair of the Department of Science and Technology at Bryant University and an expert in immunology, virology, microbiology, and human health and disease.

“The new study suggests that two-thirds of the cases may be transmitted in this way, according to their mathematical modeling,” she said.

Many cases are mild enough that you may never realize you are infected, said Nasia Safdar, medical director of Infection Control and Prevention at the University of Wisconsin Health in Madison, Wisconsin.

“A mild case would be something like low-grade fever, which you might not know you have,” she said. “It might be a runny nose, and, amidst allergy season, you might not see it as important.”

This is part of what makes COVID-19 so “distressing,” said Jagdish Khubchandani, an associate chair and professor of health science at Ball State University.

“These people can be labeled as infected, but asymptomatic,” he said. “These are the people who can infect others where others actually get sick enough to reach hospitals.”

There’s still a lot we don’t know about the disease, but we do know it can be fatal for certain groups, like those over age 60 and those with underlying conditions. It’s also possible that COVID-19 patients remain infected ― and have the potential to spread the virus to others ― for a while.

Hokeness said the incubation period for the virus, or the length of time between contracting it and the onset of symptoms, is about five days on average.

She pointed to a new study out of Germany, which found that individuals can spread the virus very soon after they’ve been infected ― and long before they may even show symptoms. The virus can also potentially spread for a prolonged period of time after the initial infection.

In that study, researchers were able to cultivate live virus between Day One and Day Five after the onset of symptoms. This was when the virus was most infectious, Hokeness said. It remained infectious, but less so, up until the eighth day of symptoms.

“On Day One, which could be really mild to you, you are producing a lot of active virus which gets transmitted by the respiratory droplets, and either directly acquired by susceptible individuals or picked up from surfaces,” Hokeness said.
In other words: If you haven’t yet, start acting like you already have COVID-19.

This is a critical reason we have to practice social distancing.

“This is phenomenally important for a disease like COVID-19, in which there is no natural immunity in the population and for which no vaccine exists,” Hokeness said. “This means that the only way for the virus to leave the population, in a sense, is to either infect everyone or limit the ability of the virus to spread from person to person.”

Social distancing, she said, “creates a barrier” and protects vulnerable people in the community.
At this point, it’s hard to say exactly how many people have COVID-19, though the numbers at the time of publication stand at almost 168,000 cases worldwide with more than 6,600 deaths. In the United States, there are 5,700 recorded cases and 100 deaths. Hokeness said the lack of test availability early in the pandemic could mean “far more people are infected or have been infected in the U.S. than we have been able to confirm.” On top of that, she said, many people with asymptomatic or mild cases may not choose to be tested and instead simply self-isolate.

Khubchandani said the stealth transmission study suggests there may be five or 10 undetected cases for each one we know about. “I think it could be more, but certainly not less,” he said.
“Everyone should be suspected of infection,” he said.

So, what should you do right now? Hokeness said hygiene is still important: Wash your hands, and sanitize when you don’t have soap and water. Many bars and restaurants have been shuttered, as well as large gatherings; the government has suggested gatherings of more than 10 should be eliminated.
But really, keep as isolated as you can.

“Don’t make this for naught by continuing to get together and host play dates or socialize,” Hokeness said. “The faster we can isolate ourselves and limit contact, the faster we can get this virus to fizzle out so to speak. ... If [the virus] can’t find its next host, we stop it dead in its tracks.”

Even if you’re unlikely to get seriously ill, you still have an integral part to play.

well... either treat them like this or treat them in the hospital, where many will die because hey won’t be able to keep up with the influx of new patients. Yeah it sucks, but do you have a better immediate solution?
