Like Bob said, the recomp effect is where it really shines. I just started my second bottle and my weight is holding pretty strong yet I am looking and feeling much leaner. I ordered 4 more bottles last night to run again in the spring.

Bob got you covered with reviews but ya body comp seems to be the most frequent claim.

@dsade you have a current deal on this for BF or CM? Correct me if wrong it is 20% OFF?
Would be a good chance to grab 2-3 bottles and test yourself @u_e_s_i

I started taking it last week, and noticed crushing tiredness. Anyone else?
Nope. Feeling it acutely (after dosing) Or more just a general feel over the day?

Same here. I had to pull the chute after 10 days, as it unfortunately ran me into the ground. I think it’s the high dose of rhodiola rosea.

After dosing, but continues throughout the day (I'm sure split dosing doesn't help that).

Ya I’d probably just assume it’s the Rhodiola, it’s already an ingredient that works in an inverted U for effects generally.

That sucks maybe it will get better or maybe you could try splitting the doses more or going down in dose a little and see if that could help.

Ditto....

This side effect was much improved after the first few weeks though. I don’t even notice the lethargic feeling now. I can’t help but wonder if I have just gotten used to it though, and would ultimately feel an increase of energy if I were to stop taking it

Well, my problem is that my job requires extreme alertness. So anything that kills my ability to be super aware, or makes me sleepy, is bad.

That is a bummer. My job demands that I remain quite alert as well....they expect too much! I only want to be alert on my terms these days.

The rhodiola can certainly impact people differently. Maybe just build up to a full dose gradually to let yourself adjust to it a bit.

Well I felt GREAT yesterday, after a few days of constant tiredness, and I didn't even get a good nights sleep the night before. Not bashing the product, everyone is different, but this stuff hits me hard in not a good way. Bummer, because clearly it's effective for those who tolerate it.

I mean, maybe because I'm taking it with a pre or a fat burner in the am, but even the PM dose doesn't make me tired...

For the record, TONS of supplements give me sides where I cannot take them for longer than X days, that's why BMP was so surprising.

Good question. I know that once I got off of BMP I felt a lot better. A shame, as BMP really seems to shine for most.

I’ve been on it for a bit over a month now but because of family stuff I haven’t been on point with things. I’m asking because I haven’t noticed much of anything. I’ve been averaging a small deficit but I’ve been pretty down and stressed recently and whilst I look leaner in places in other places I look like I’m less lean. I don’t think I’ve given it a proper go yet so I’m gonna hold my judgement

What you guys describe with rhodiola , I get with ashwaghanda . First couple weeks, energy, jitter feeling, aggression, etc. then, I get lethargic yet anxiety worsens. The best way to describe ashwaghanda for me is when you wake up in panic from a dream. You’re heart is racing and you feel anxiety, yet you’re still super tired , in a slight dream state. Hate adaptogens lol

yeh that can definitely happen. I got some MK677 like two years ago and because the seller said it didn’t have any side effects I didn’t suspect anything. It was only in hindsight that I realised how tired and lethargic it made me. For a while when I first started on it I didn’t even notice the lethargy

there’s actually a clinical correlation between lethargy and depression / just generally feeling low.

some things chill you out because they help relieve your anxiety but if something straight up makes you lethargic it can push you in a negative direction mentally. I get this myself. I hate feeling lethargic because I know that lethargy just slows me down and stops me from doing some of the things I want to do or want to get done and that always brings me down. Personally I find that taking some stims helps to alleviate this. I haven’t experienced it notably from ashwagandha but my insomnia prescription makes you at least a bit of a zombie all day depending on how much you take and that **** is strong. The dose I take of that stuff and how much stims I take correlate with my mood (up to a point with the stims of course)

That’s a noggin scratcher. I succumbed to the same sides as your second bottle on my first.

Have you get your estrogen levels checked? Pap smear looking fresh and clear?

Despite all the claims of the recomp fanatics, I'm pretty sure gaining muscle and losing fat are two contrary goals. At least that's what almost any nutrition text will tell you. Either you're eating at a deficit and losing weight (hopefully fat) or you're eating a surplus and gaining weight (hopefully muscle). In fact, Dorian Yates was saying this just the other day on the telly -- that you can't really burn fat without losing some muscle and, conversely, you're not going to gain muscle without also bringing in some fat.

So what is this 'recomp' you ladies are talking aboot? @The Solution, hook a bro up, I'll give you a suuuper scientific review. ;)

Sure they may be contrary goals.
Go look at the loggers or people who have run the product and you can put the pieces to the puzzle together. @Resolve10 saw some incredible changes to his physique with adding in BMP. @HIT4ME @Ptlhains have also seen some great changes in the mirror. I personally did not change my nutrition for 8 total weeks running BMP and I continued to get leaner in the mirror and maintain my strength if not beat the logbook in weight or reps. Science is a great tool for us to learn and understand how things work, but real-life results will always trump what science says.

You can see that across the board with nutrition, supplementation, and training in the real world. Some people thrive off training one body part a week, yet science shows us that 2-3x a week maybe more optimal. There is a lot of pro's and con's to keto dieting. Some people respond very well, some people get jack crap out of it. I could go on and on in regards to how people can respond to various supplement ingredients, formulas, and products. Goes to show there is no one size fits all and how it can apply to what science shows and what real-life results show. If science a great guideline? Absolutely and I learn a lot from it, but it doesn't always mean that is how everything should be done or ran.

Think about recomp this way: you are on a small deficit AND lifting heavy for hypertrophy. You have excess fat. Body burns fat to make upmthe calorie deficit. Deficit is mainly due to the lifting anf need to repair. Hence the fat burned formthe deficit is replaced by muscle.
