Hey all pretty simple.. On 100mg of test Ms 500 x2 a week of hcg. Never really had body acne before. Now I have it, mostly shoulders.. I use the recommended soap try to limit sugars etc.. Could the hcg be the cause or a big factor.. I'll be getting a vasectomy at some point in the near future.. So kids in the future isn't a thing..

Any feedback.. Especially medical links

Hcg causes your body to produce testosterone- and because of the natural aromatising it also causes an increase in estrogen. So yes, could very well be seeing some acne from it.

Thanks I had recently switched from an inject able ai to a pill. 1/2 on hcg only day 1 on test day.. My least level check was 1233 test 22 estridol.. So loosing a bit of my test levels probably won't hurt I assume

Was kinda hoping someone else would jump in on this. I've heard a lot of guys say hcg skyrockets their estro. Doesnt seem to effect me a whole lot. But high estro murders me with acne quickly. I'd be really interested to see if anyone else thinks that hcg gave them acne issues???

HCG does make it hard for a lot of guys to manage E2. If kids are out of the question then there’s really no need for HCG.

Completely disagree. Hcg keeps my sex drive consistently high no matter what compounds I'm on. As long as estro is in a good range that is. Plus, if you are cycling, or if there is ever any possibility trt may come to an end - then the hcg is a key component to getting some natty test levels back within a decent time frame.

Yes HCG does help keep the natural production going. But, TRT doesn’t come to an end, it’s for life. Secondly, if you read through the anti-aging threads you will see a lot of guys complain about taking HCG while on TRT. It’s hard enough dialing in a TRT protocol. Adding HCG makes it even harder for a lot of guys dialing in their E2 levels. Cycling is a total different animal. I’ve been on TRT for almost 7 years, I keep my E2 under control with an AI and my sex drive is as high as it was when I was 18. I’ve never taken HCG and don’t plan on it.

So has anyone had acne issues on trt and hcg and stopped the hcg and the acne stopped.

Also is there a way to speed up the marks left behind from the acne on the shoulders?

Appreciated

Yes, trt is for life. But there are plenty of guys who started trt and for whatever life reason - 15 or so years down the road they cannot continue. Insurance policy sorta deal. But for me it's about sex drive. After time on trt many guys complain the initial sex drive wears off a bit. Add cycles on top of that its certainly not out of the question.

As far as dialing in estrogen- if your doing regular hcg injections then you would simply find the a.i. dosage that works and stick with it. No different than finding what your dosage would be with just test.

It's hard to start something for life and not understand their may be limiting factors decades down the road.

If guys on TRT had no issues at all with HCG causing E2 issues then there would not be numerous threads on the on the anti-aging forum on this site addressing it. As far as coming off TRT HCG probably isn’t going to get your natural production to a reasonable level because you didn’t have much of a natural production in the first place. As far as sex drive wearing off while on TRT, I’d bet most of those guys aren’t getting proper labs done and having DHEA, pregnenolone and Vitamin D3 levels checked as well. Have you read any of the threads on the anti-aging forum relating to HCG? Are you on TRT? Just curious man. Some guys do fine with HCG but there’s a lot that don’t. Read the thread and check it out.

I am on trt. I browse through the anti aging forum here occasionally but it seems pretty slow. I also frequent a couple other boards as well that speak a little more about the subject.

I see your point. And I'm in no way saying that everyone on trt is going to benefit from hcg. As I stated earlier in the thread - I know a lot of guys that seem to have nasty estrogen issues from it. And I'm not saying that after 15 years of trt you'll just bounce back to 400's instantly bc you've used hcg. But it certainly can help. I've also talked to lots of guys that benefit from it in these ways. I was simply stating that "the only reason to use hcg is for fertility" just isnt the case. It's not for everyone, but it absolutely helps in other aspects when used correctly.
