Is an AI necessary during PCT?

I just finished up a cycle of DHB + Anavar + test prop (low-dose of 30 mg/day) and began PCT earlier today. I've heard varying opinions on whether or not an AI is necessary to use in case estrogen rebound occurs, but in general, is it a good idea to take a low dose of Arimidex during PCT?

Also, I'll be using Nolvadex for my PCT drug. Is 20 mg/day for 4 weeks still considered to be a good "standard" PCT dosing regimen?

Case dependent. Me, I would have to low dose an AI at the least because I am very sensitive to estrogen and prolactin. Maybe you dont need something as strong as adex. I'm using Letrone and it is plenty strong enough, natural, and legal. If you are sensetive, go low on the AI.
 
I don't think a low does AI would hurt you. It might be worth it to just pick one up and run low dose like suggested above. Inhibit-e is a great one.
 
I am loving Virtus... I am on my 6th or so week of it and still feeling some effect... which says a lot for a natural AI...
 
Necessary? Probably not. Not likely to hurt though, as long as you don’t crash estrogen. Not sure if it’s ever been “proven” per se, but using a SERM has the potential to increase aromatization. I’ve heard of several people using an AI after the SERM to prevent estrogen rebound.
 
Thanks guys. I just decided to forego using an AI for now and haven't experienced any problems yet, so I'll be crossing my fingers that it's smooth sailing from here on out.
