Ever want a "factual" study showing how long the body takes to even begin Producing Testosterone after discontinuing a cycle, or HRT?
Here you go...

A 21-day T sampling period was appropriate to determine the t1/2 of exogenous T because gonadotropin-releasing-hormone stimulation tests indicated that the hypothalamic–pituitary–testicular axes of the subjects did not regain sufficient sensitivity to stimulate release of T until 4–6 weeks after discontinuation of the TC injections.

Well given the terminal elimination half-life of test-c is estimated to be roughly 6 days, that lines up with 5 half life clearances.

I see, so SERMs take the place GRH while your pituitary isn’t releasing it, and this is why PCTs would last this long. But it says sufficient sensitivity, so it sounds like your pituitary isn’t fully recovered even by this time?

Four months after an anabolic steroid cycle, the production of hormones such as LH and FSH, which stimulate the testes to produce testosterone, will be recovered - but this does not apply to the production of testosterone. This is apparent from a meta-analysis that Greek endocrinologists at the University of Ioannina published in Sports Medicine.

Takes a matter of weeks to shut it down and months and months to start it back up. That’s why serm and hcg administration are so critical. You can actually keep what you gain on cycle if done correctly. Minus of course whatever surplus glycogen/water the cells are holding onto.
