So I started getting shooting pains in my left gluts and quad moving down to my foot.

Tur w out I ha e a bulging disk at my l4 l5. The pain is so severe that they said physical therapy would not help at this point. They put me on norco and I have a epidural scheduled for the 15th. But this throws my whole prep out the window. Sorry to rant just had to let off some stea

Ah that sucks bro. Ironically I’ve a prolapsed disc in the same place but training actually helps avoid any pain (surgeon told me to keep training)....

Sometimes life forces you to take some downtime...all the best with the recovery, one day at a time.

Thanks for the well wishes I am hoping for the best and that the epidural has me back up and running in a couple weeks. The silver lining is that I now will have the time to do a "real" bulk.

You’re one of our more experienced guys, and what you’re doing is a sign of responsible, strategic, maturity and people like that are the ones we want using ped’s. I’m sure you as well as I have had to abandon cycles either for safety or to shift priorities.
Blasting through an injury or running clen, orals, and stims when your bp is 180/95, or even finishing the last 2 weeks of a toxic oral when you’re starting to turn yellow, is a an addictive and irresponsible move that makes all this look stupid.
I’m sorry you gotta take a quick break, but as soon as you’re 85-90% jump back on and enjoy brother. You know we can bounce back quick.
