Aloha,

I am a massage therapist looking to bulk up as I want to start adding training to my services. I have two questions: Does anyone recommend a good preworkout that can help me get motivated to workout after 3-5 hours per day of massage? Also are there any massage therapists here that train as well? Any tips on getting started? TIA

Nothing is really going to give you motivation. A pre with stimulants will help give you energy though. Anything from black coffee to a product like Prolific from PES is a good place to start.

Best motivation for me is getting naked and looking in a mirror. As soon as you look good in the mirror, motivation gets less again, LOL.
A pre workout like Aleksandar37 said is helpful too.

Preworkouts are great as long as you are able to fall asleep later that night. I've found that many of them are loaded with caffeine, which is great for giving you a boost of energy, but not really helpful for falling asleep if taken in the afternoon. I can't speak to PES as I've never tried it but have heard good things about it.

I'm not a massage therapist - queue SNL Jeopardy jokes - but I am a firefighter who trains as a side hustle. Because of my normal income, I like that I can be selective about the clients I take on and didn't have to go through the typical fledgling trainer issues. What do you want to do with your training? Who do you want to train (weight loss, athletes, etc)?

For a pre I suggest green matcha tea. One teaspoon in juice before gym. Taste is horrendous -but great energy that does not cause insomnia later.
Before training anyone, you'll need a lot of hours watching youtube, reading here on AM and personal experience -unless you want to be the average trainer, who stands behind your client looking at your iphone.
Currently I train 2 friends for free. Looks and sounds like a boot camp, with the difference, the drill sergeant does everything too.

I think Id like to train people coming off injuries. With massage ive learned a bit about injury recovery so I feel i could combine to two well. What certification do you have and/or which would you recommend for training people with injuries?
