Unanswered Protocol for a bad night of sleep?

I have severe insomnia,I was supposed to hit 405 on a squat today, but karma didn’t wanna see me happy,I tossed and turned all night! I plan on rescheduling for tomorrow does it mess everything up,My routine is Monday squats,Wednesday bench, Friday, trap bar Deadlifts.my biggest concern if I squat on Tuesday will i be recovered for Friday deadlifts?am I being soft for not working out today, leg day takes a lot out of me (20 sets)don’t wanna half ass it neither!

Tuesday to Friday is the same amount of time as Friday to Monday. If your deadlifts aren’t interfering with squats on your regular schedule, there won’t be a difference. You don’t need a protocol for one night of bad sleep, but you probably should address your insomnia.

Maybe try a sleep supplement. L theanine, gaba,. A basic zinc , magnesium dose before bed. Something like ZMK is fantastic. Somnidren-GH ultra is a pleasant sleep supplement.

SNS growthfactor Xt helps me fall asleep and stay asleep, helps with recovery

I've heard from others as well that this product helps with deep sleep. Definitely worth a try if it's SNS... If need a sleep aid i just pop some melatonin and it knocks me out.

I’ve been dealing with insomnia for a couple years now, the kind that wakes me up at 3am and can’t go back to sleep. And after an exceptionally hard training session, I wake every half hour and it’s even worse. A stack of rhodiola (Gaia only for me), creatine, and caffeine/theanine does me pretty well on those really bad nights of sleep.

Creatine’s effects on sleep deprivation.

CONCLUSIONS: Following 24-h sleep deprivation, creatine supplementation had a positive effect on mood state and tasks that place a heavy stress on the prefrontal cortex.

Conclusion
Acute sleep deprivation affects performance of a simple repeat skill in elite athletes and this was ameliorated by a single dose of either caffeine or creatine. Acute creatine use may help to alleviate decrements in skill performance in situations of sleep deprivation, such as transmeridian travel, and caffeine at low doses appears as efficacious as higher doses, at alleviating sleep deprivation deficits in athletes with a history of low caffeine use. Both options are without the side effects of higher dose caffeine use.

Phenibut hands down #1.

melatonin, maybe theanine if you're really stressed, and/or valerian root works pretty well.
