Supplements and P450 enzyme

Recently been learning about the p450 enzyme and supplement/drug interactions. Guess somehow I’ve been lucky the past few years because there’s never been an issue, but I’ve taken CBD and using gotu kola now, and both inhibit some particular p450 enzymes and can interact with a whole host of things. Does anyone pay attention to these when using all the stimulants and things we do? I wanted to start using Bloodshr3d unsure if there’s an issue. Or are these warnings about p450 enzymes really only with the powerful drugs? Anyone have any thoughts or experiences?

I moderately pay attention - but usually it gets to either something raising an issue of concern or me trying to find a way to make things work better. It's often hard to say how much a single ingredient will impact P450 enzymes, which is what makes it difficult - you could do something that most people get by with but screws you hard because you lack enough enzyme. And it's environmental, chronic use and genetics all mixed into one.

Well, I guess I’m just most concerned about using something that potentiates a stimulant to a dangerous degree or a downer and slowing things down way too far.

I have no training, but if it were me I would start with the drugs I was worried about potentiating and look at which P450 enzynes are required for their metabolism and then see if any of the supplements I used utilize or inhibit those same enzymes in their metabolism.
