Heart Rate on S4

I’m currently taking 75mg of s4 and 50mg of DHEA. My heart rate has been randomly high at strange times. Sometimes I’ll just be sitting down and then I’ll get up to get some water and within a couple steps my heart starts racing pretty fast. Sometimes it’ll start racing when I’m just standing in line at the store. It’s strange. Should I be alarmed? Has anyone else had their heart rate go up a lot while only on sarms?

I only have 18 days left on my cycle. This just became an issue in the last week or two. Do you think I should tough it out and carry on or just pct now? I’ve already put in a good nine weeks on this cycle but I don’t want to waste any of the drug. Anyway, what’re your thoughts?

I noticed ostarine affected my heart in a similar way, racing, then a big thud, then normal, or a big thud then racing then normal. Palpitations.

I got those when I still smoked cigarettes. Methyl AAS didn’t do it to me, but ostarine did. And I wasn’t smoking.

I get that thud feeling too. That’s a good way to describe it. Do you think I should be worried at all or should I just ignore it and finish out this last 18 days?

Well, it’s not good... but a lot of people live with such conditions totally unawares. So it’s up to you whether you would continue or not,

That’s true. Since I’m taking a drug, I’m hyper aware of the things going on with my body because I want to be safe. It’ll probably be fine. I’m taking a long break after this cycle anyway, so my body will have plenty of time to recover.
 
Never had this happen to me when running compounds. I would check your blood pressure though. Whenever I’ve checked BP on sarms I was fine though.

Just try not to be hyper aware. Anxiety is a very real thing and your mind can play tricks on you. Just try to relax. I find CBD to really help me since I’ve had anxiety problems in the past.

Funny story actually: before I even knew what a steroid was I thought I was having heart problems and palpitations. Got ekg done and everything. Sometimes my heart did skip beats, other times I would have a high resting heart rate. Turns out it was all anxiety induced

I think I know exactly what you mean about the thud. Do you also feel at times not just it speeds up but it will be normal and then like a little flutter feeling so to speak? It’s a scary feeling and don’t know what to make of it. Like what brings it on and hopefully doesn’t manifest into something serious. That’s why these days I don’t take any thing other than slightly higher trt cruises of 300 mgs tops. Seems to not affect me in any negative way

I get a bit of a flutter too. The thudding feeling can feel like a dull ache also. It definitely makes me nervous. Sometimes I consider giving up the PED hobby and just waiting until I’m ready to use test in the low to moderate dose range. It’s much safer and more proven than all these research chemicals people mess with.

I considered that. But usually the heart issue comes first and then I feel anxious about that. It doesn’t work the other way around.

I think you'd be surprised how much more comfortable your cycles can be absent of orals. I personally am also hyper aware or my body when im on, and orals seem to make this more intense as they give way bigger peaks and fluctuations compared to long estered injectables. I simply dont feel good no matter how mild thr oral lol. Test and trest in low to moderate dosages have really been a savior for me in terms of comfort and mental well-being on a PED. Orals can be strong dude, and i feel so much less toxic when injectable.

I certainly do miss out on a lot of extra gains from not including an oral here and there but id much rather feel great. I seem to be the minority here as most people get along just fine with them
 
Now trest can and normally does still raise my bp and resting heart rate, but a lot less acute and i dont have bouts of random spikes lol

I’ve always been interested in trest, especially since you can easily get a TD version. But I’ve always been afraid of complete shutdown.

On sarms I never feel shut down. My energy and libido is higher than usual and I only take a little DHEA as a “base” and many would argue that that’s not much of a test base at all. When I come off I do feel a little depressed at first but I think its the clomid more than the shutdown causing it.

You’re not the only guy I’ve ever heard say that they avoid orals. Injecting seems so hardcore to people who don’t do it but in reality your playing it safer than people who eat their steroids.

Ah ****, i completely forget that im on TRT and literally have no reason to be concerned about trest and shutdown, and that its kind of a big deal to others arent already shutdown.

Yeah i just personally am not a good candidate for AAS in general lol. I just happen to get along fine with test and a few others, while most make me feel insane lol

I think I’m sensitive to androgens too. Yk11 made me feel insane. Some people say it basically has the mental effects of tren. That experience makes me want to be even more cautious.

IFBB pro Greg Douchette really talks up rad140, saying you can gain a ton of size and strength on it. He said it’s pretty comparable to oral AAS. That’s saying a lot. So I’m excited to try it one day. But I hear the mental effects could go either way. Some people get irritable while others feel amazing on it.

What dose did you use for it?
 
Just a little update. I’m gonna call it on this cycle. I’ve ran it long enough and I don’t think I’ll suddenly get amazing results in the last two weeks, so why even struggle through the weird heart issues? It was an okay run.

Unfortunately it happens, always a tough call and disapointing having to throw in the towel to side effects. Sounds like you got something out of it though.

I definitely did. I lost about 7-8 lbs while getting a little stronger and it doesn’t appear that I’ve lost any muscle in the process. It was far from a transformative cycle but I wasn’t expecting that. Overall, I’m satisfied with the progress and made.
 
Hey man. Did the issues go away when you stopped the s4. Funny enough you mentioned this cause now IM getting the same thing you’re describing since upping my s4 dose to the exact same dose you were on.

Had a few palpitations in the last couple of days. And today noticed it in the gym. How’s the issues now though?

Most likely gonna drop s4 because I like to do cardio and feel good and normal. I don’t feel like my normal self and it’s a little concerning at the moment.

I’d drop it if I were you. There’s no reason to play with your ticker like that. I’ve been off for five days and my heart hasn’t returned to normal but I think it’s slowly progressing in the right direction. The first three days it was still pounding like I never stopped the s4. Since then it’s still palpitating, beating harder than normal, and kinda fluttering a bit, but it’s doing all that to a lesser degree and it’s happening less often. Hopefully it returns to normal soon.
 
Having a heart issue can cause some serious anxiety too, as it should. It’s not to be taken lightly. As the issue decreases, so does my anxiety. So I think that answers the chicken or egg first question. The heart issue came first and that spiked my anxiety.
 
So now we know, ostarine and s4 mess with your heart. They’re both direct analogs of aryl propionamide, so both directly related.

Actually maybe might of been me taking DMAA + 2 scoops of pre yesterday giving me the palpitations. I haven’t dosed s4 today , but had a workout without any stimulants and heart was gtg. Felt a ton better. Still gonna stop the s4 though and just run androhard. I think I can get the same results with just one compound

You dropped the RAD too?
 
I can’t believe it took me this long to do some research on heart palpitations. From what I read, it’s very rarely a sign of any underlying issue, like heart disease, and is almost always, at most, simply bothersome. That makes me feel a lot more at ease. I’m still experiencing them regularly.

Hope you feel better. Since dropping the compound I notice a much better difference, I’m able to push myself a lot harder in the gym without feeling off
 
It’s been about 10 days since I stopped my cycle. My heart rate has been feeling pretty good the last two days. Things are returning to normal.

This is the end of my experimentation with PED’s. I hated feeling like my heart was gonna explode just from being alive. It made me ask myself, “what the **** am I doing? I’m 26 and I gave myself heart issues.” Just when I would hug my GF for a second she would say that it felt like my heart was about to pop out my chest. And all that caused a ton of anxiety too. I’ve experienced too many side effects from this stuff and the only possible benefit is looking more jacked. So I weighed the pros and cons for myself and decided I shouldn’t continue down this road.

Anyway, I still think people should do what they want with their bodies but these types of drugs just aren’t for me. I’ll continue working out naturally.

I think the mistake is thinking some unmarketed research chemicals are going to somehow be less negative than good ol testosterone for a beginner in PEDs.

I agree. I’ve already decided I won’t return to PED’s until I’m ready to pin testosterone and I probably won’t add much more than that. Maybe a little anavar or tbol. This will probably be years down the line but who knows, maybe I’ll change my mind and make that jump sooner. I’m young though so it’s no rush. The one sarm I didn’t get to try that I really wanted to was rad140 but I’ll beat myself up if I end up running into serious issues again.
