Tbol and test levels.

Pretty sure I already know the answer to this but want confirmation. Tbol should not elevevate my total test numbers while on trt correct?

Just had bloods at doc and he is changing my dose which means I have to have total test tested again in 8 weeks.

My tbol, test, tren finisher 12 week cut was supposed to begin in 4weeks. I don’t want to wait that long to start cut so thinking of running tbol solo until after blood work is drawn then start additional test.

It will lower it. How much, I don't know. But tbol is an shbg inhibitor, which means less TT and more FT.

Your doctor might be inclined to do further testing to see why your TT dropped (if that actually happens on a scale beyond standard fluctuations).

If your regular blood work includes shbg and other markers then for sure, he will see that something is off.

I am however not on trt and have no idea how your doctors operate. Better to whait for somedy from your area to chime in.

I just had normal 6month labs that check everything.
Only total test will be checked in 8 weeks because of dose change. He actually raised my dose back up.

I’ve been on TRT for about 2 years now. You think my body is still producing it’s on testosterone that the tbol will effect? I figured I’d be running on pure exogenous test at this point.

Sorry, what?

Tbol will lower total test because it will unbound it from SHBG and thus converting it to free test. This has nothing to do with you natural test production which has stopped at app the second week of your TRT.

If this is really how little you know about androgens and body, I would advise you not to play with aas mate, and do a little bit more research before you start...

Slow down there brojinsun. I am by no means an expert but this isn’t my first cycle. So too late on the starting aspect.

People are so quick on here to say you don’t know enough you shouldn’t be doing this. You learn more by asking. Stop being a dick for a second.

I know what sex hormone binding globulan is and that most AAS lower shgb which increases free test. Tbol does this although not as significant as a lot of other AAS. This is rookie knowledge.

What I’m not sure out of your statement and was asking about concerns the bloodwork. My understanding (which may be wrong) is that total test measures total test in blood stream, bound and unbound. Free and not free if you will. For blood work I didn’t think increasing free test will cause total test to drop. Obviously total can increase free but just unbounding some of total test into a free state shouldn’t drop total test.

That’s been my understanding, this the reason I questioned it and made the comment that I have been on trt for 2 years I’m not producing my own. I didn’t know if you had that knowledge of me. I probably didn’t word it correctly.

And lastly I could care less if it lowers the total test number. I wanted to make sure it would not raise total test numbers. I’ve never had bloods while on TBOL and it should not increase total test numbers theoretically but it is a derivative of testerone so I wasn’t sure.

Straight off a Harvard Website. Maybe my knowledge is pretty decent afterall

I personally don’t think that turinabol should have much effect on your testosterone numbers, but I can’t say for sure. I will, however say that it might not be the best idea to run even just turinabol due to the fact that it will likely cause alterations in your bloodwork (lipids and liver values) that might be of concern to your doctor.

I just had the normal bloods that check everything including lipids. Everything was ok. He upped my dose of test today when we reviewed results because I was a little lower than he wanted me this go around. Protocol is anytime a dose is changed test and estrogen are checked again in 8 weeks. This next blood test will only be for testesterone and estrogen numbers and nothing else.

I didn’t think tbol would effect my test numbers but I wasn’t sure as I have never actually tested blood while on Tbol. That’s what I was looking at info for.

Thanks for the input

Welp, as long as you’re sure they wont test lipids and whatnot, then I’d assume your bloodwork would be fine.

Not beeing a jerk. Look objectively at your first response to my response and you'll quickly see my concern. You responded to my shbg and TT coment with "Am I still producing my own test after TWO YEARS of TRT". See what I mean : )

No worries mate, do your thing.

Anyway, back to the point. I also genuinely don't think tbol can significantly lower TT via shbg inhibition. I argued about this with Spurfy the last time. He argued that TT could get significantly lower via shbg inhibition. Maybe tag him and he can elaborate on this...

I get it buddy no worries. It was intended to be a rhetorical question I just worded it very poorly in my haste to respond. My original concern was if it would raise test levels, I was shocked when you said it would lower levels and your reason went against my knowledge. I didn’t know if you thought I just started trt because of the blood work and wanted to relay the info.

In any case thanks for the input.
