That's a scary post brotha! If you are set on insulin you need to know it inside and out. Lot of good info here on AM....basskiller has some good reading. What kind of insulin did you get?

Novolin R. I’m diabetic and it takes a lot of it to get my sugar down. I was just sitting at 350 and took 40 iu’s just to be normal

Most pros recommend pre workout along with HGH.... 4iu or so of HGH. More if you can afford it. And proper nutrition post injection obviously to keep from going hypo.

hypoglycemic I believe its called. ITs when your blood sugar drops too low from taking too much insulin for the amount of carbohydrates you consume and your body starts shutting down. It can be deadly, that's why slin use is not for beginners

Do not mess around with insulin. Take it seriously. It is the easiest thing to kill yourself with one dose.

If you’re diabetic and prescribed insulin, use as directed. Unless you plan on stepping on stage at the Olympia, you have no business using insulin for bodybuilding purposes IMO.

Novolin R lasts about six hours. You would dose it pre training by 2-3 hours, and load up on as many grams of carbs during that six hour window as possible, making sure your training period is also within that six hour window. In a nutshell.

Although I get why you are saying this, I don’t really agree fully. Most gym rats probably shouldn’t use insulin, but if you compete, Olympia or not, insulin is just another tool. Also this guy is already using insulin, so....

If you compete in local men’s physique competitions you probably shouldn’t be using it either. You can’t get enough gains using testosterone and other steroids without abusing insulin? And if he’s prescribed it, is it really a good idea to (ab)use it otherwise? It’s literally life-saving medicine for him. Do we know anything about him? Unless he already has a very solid base physique, using insulin to build muscle is asinine.

Well, if you use GH in amounts that matter, you’ll probably want some insulin too.

If we’re being 100% honest, the function insulin provides is really powerful and effective, however it is mostly obsolete. IGF1 LR3 is capable of doing what lantus does, without possibility of fat gain. IGF1 DES is capable of doing what fast acting novalog does. Both are safer in that it takes more than a minor miscalculation to kill. Both provide excellent carb loading easily rivaling insulins of similar duration.

However, insulin is more studied, and much cheaper.

Well I know how to use insulin and of course I’m always testing my sugar. Just thought maybe I’d take it preworkout to bump some gains. If everyone thinks I shouldn’t I’ll leave it alone

Unless you plan on becoming a professional bodybuilder I don’t think you should be using GH either lol. If your plan is to be a local level competitor, you don’t need to run AAS, GH, and insulin IMO.

Well, MY plan is to be as big as I can be. As shredded as I can be.

For that, you need the trinity.

Just read OPs first post..wow. And the kid is already diabetic. Heres what you do..stick to your diabetic protocol and if you want to blow up, run a test, deca, anadrol cycle for like 20 weeks. Pulse the anadrol at 2 weeks on 1 week off for the duration and eat like its your job

What? Getting huge and shredded at the same time is easy...try getting big, shredded, and smart at the same time. OP will be a golden god yesterday...thank god for drugs.

I’ll definitely leave it alone. I’m not a kid. I’m 39 on trt and currently trying low dose Superdrol and M1T stacked. Just figured I could make the insulin work for me. Don’t take other steroids because I don’t have a source

I don’t see how it’s so crazy for someone already on insulin to take a dose preworkout with high carbs to increase anabolism

I think your post was disrespectful. A simple don’t do it would have sufficed

IF you really are diabetic, and it really takes a lot to get your blood sugars down... I would guess that an extra unit or two and the extra carbs to go with it is all you would need. So basically exactly what you’d already be doing if eating more carbs anyhow.

Swim is right though, if you’re already diabetic and on insulin, you probably don’t need to do anything more to get the same benefit as anyone else. Just make sure to take your insulin how you’re supposed to around your meals.

That being said, in my experience the drugs go hand in hand with the diet and training. Without one, the others do not work nearly as well.

Op, up your test dosage to 500mg a week for about 4 months and see what happens to your weight. Make sure to monitor your blood sugar closely. Add GH if you also want to have to take extra insulin for sure. You’ll find with 4iu GH per day and above its much harder to get your BG down below 90.

Swim and I were talking about the extra slin. Idk where to get legit gh. For the price I can’t waste it on bunk stuff. My diet is sloppy. I’m a UPS driver and it’s hard to eat enough
