I’m currently running all Kaged Muscle supplements. I’m looking to try something new.

Please provide your input or suggestions to the following Preworkouts:

Controlled Labs White Flash

vs

NutraBio Extreme Pre

vs

PES Prolific/High Profile

Also, what is a good Intra that has BCAAs, EASs and Carbs? Lastly, when is the best time to take Creatine/Glutamine. I know these two items are included in the Kaged Muscle items but not many others.

Thanks

Nitrabio pre is the closest to prekaged and both are amazing
Creatine can be taken anytime 3-5g daily
Glutamine is not needed at all

I’d do xtend as a intra product and go with CL white flash. It’s a nice pre with positive reviews. Throw you creatine and glutamine in your protein shake.

Honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with any of those choices, but they are a bit different.

White Flash is one of my go-to pre-workouts and is the only one in that group that has Vaso-6 (pump and endurance is great with this).

Nutrabio pre is the only one of those that contains Creatine and Beta Alanine. You don’t have to take those pre-workout, but having them in that one product is nice for convenience if you don’t want to take another product to get them. Keep in mind extreme also contains carbs (which I don’t mind in a pre) and yohimbine hcl (some people are sensitive).

The Prolific and High Volume combo is pretty sweet though too. It’s the only one in that group that has Nitrates and I love the Rhodiola in Prolific.

Again don’t think you can go wrong with any of those three, but maybe that small breakdown can help you out!

I think for your second question that usually it’s just best to add your own carbs (something as easy as Gatorade is fine or Cyclic Dextrin or Carb10 if you want to be fancy) to EAA of choice is the best route, that way you can add the exact amount you’d like. I currently am using Nutrabio Intrablast. I have used and enjoyed Controlled Labs Purple Wraath and PEScience Amino IV in the past so you could just use the brand whose pre you chose if you’d like to stick with one brand.

NutraBio Extreme Pre is an excellent product, just kinda pricey, but you get what you pay for. If you follow an intra workout nutrition regimen it works flawlessly. I really enjoyed this product because it had everything I wanted preworkout all in one product and then I would drink my intra with more carbs, EAAs, hydro whey and some other ingredients.

As far as an intra I would tell you to simply buy a good carb powder, I like karbolyn, but there is also highly branched cyclic dextrin or if you can tolerate Gatorade or dextrose that should work. My favorite carb powder is karboload by true nutrition, it’s very affordable, 40 servings at 50 grams of carbs per serving. This bag last me a while. For EAAs I would tell you to either find a good deal on a product(humapro is awesome), or just go with bulk EAAs, I use true nutrition for this as well. I usually go with 25-50 grams of carbs depending on the body part and 10-15 grams of EAAs. Following this you don’t need a post workout shake either, which saves money, just a meal an hour late or so. You can add the creatine and glutamine to your shake. Glutamine is great for gut health, but for muscle building it’s questionable. I still use it in my intra. I have also added things like glycerol and betaine to my intra as well. I have found my recovery has really improved doing this.

White flash > nutrabio

IMO, price is a big factor. Nutrabio is packed to the gills but I can’t justify the price. White flash gives me my main ergogenic *i look for* ~betaine/tmg a 4g dose at that. Then you have your pump stuff; vaso6, citrulline and agmatine. Plus you can find it for $29 shipped.. it’s a well rounded product for the price.

You could always build your own too if you wanted with SNS single ingredients and flavor it with different MIOs or powerades. Some prefer the convenience of premise tho.

Also the Nutrabio pre has 300mg of Theanine IIRC which can really mellow out (too much IMO) the caffeine + tyrosine effects

Thanks Everyone. Sounds like CL is the best preworkout.

If I’m taking Intra Carbs, will I really benefit from EAAs?

It doesn’t... I felt great when I tried it. My pocket really mellows out, that stuff is pricey
