Have I been pinning the wrong amount??

Hey all,

Some of you might remember me as I posted a very detailed 1 4 andro log a while back which was my first cycle of any sort.

Anyways fast forward I’ll get to the point. I’ve gotten 3 real cycles on my belt and have decided to go TRT and blast every now and then. Thing is I’ve been pinning slim pins/insulin pins for
My TRT shots. I lined it up to the .2 mark today on my regular 21G needle for 50mg test to backload into my slim pin. Thing is when I loaded up the insulin pin it came out as .27 instead of .2.
I made sure to push it to the top of the needle in the insulin syringe where the oil was coming out. I understand there’s always some test in the needle itself but does this mean I’ve been actually pinning .07 extra of test in all my pins?

TLDR; I drew .02 in my syringe to backload into the insulin pin and it filled up .27. Have I been pinning .07 extra oil this whole time?
 
Are you measuring from the edge of the plunger or the depth of the meniscus? That will make a difference as the plunger is actually curved.

It almost sounds like you got the extra 0.07 from the first needle. Did you draw it all the way in before backloading? Do you always? That can make a difference. You draw up 0.2 and then clear the needle making it 0.27. If not, you got me here.
 
meh, I never could get the amounts to line up when I was back loading my slin pins with a 23g needle. I wasn't ever too concerned about it, but I was like "Ehhh, a little extra tren is okay!" lol, but that's just me.
 
Old witch, I load it up to .02 and I use the top part of the black rubber, before the curve if you know what I mean I guess you could say the highest point besides the curve. And no I didn’t draw it all the way in because I didn’t switch needles. I drew it in and then backloaded the insulin syringe without touching anything and just pushed it all in. My guess is that the extra was in the needle and the base of the needle. The worst part though is that it was actually 0.1 extra not .07 lol now that I remember :O
 
Nubioso, if it was a regular cycle by all means I would gladly do the same! But just trying to get my TRT dosage precise It concerns me. And that would also mean my past cycles I would be shooting about 800mg of test instead of 750 lol

I dont think you can really account for how much is in the needle. I'd think to get it 100%correct you'd have to eject the extra .1 or .07 after back filling or swapping needles. A few days ago I combined 3 compounds in a syringe that should have equaled 1.4ml ...somehow ended up with 1.8 for similar reasons you are listing. I just called it an early Christmas gift
 
I load slin pins too and i honestly dont care if im 9/10ths accurate. If im at 450mg test per week vs 500 i dont think theres gonna be a huge difference
 
Precise amounts in the tube is the least thing im worried about..little more..little less...its all good.
 
Yeah i guess you guys are right. Shouldn’t be that big of a deal. If anything I’ll just load up a .01 next time and if the results are the same that should be .02 lol. Thanks!
