Need a slight test boost... don’t like the aftermath of PHs and I know most natty tes

I’m 39. Got my sh*t together as far as diet and training. Just tried an 8 week Anabolic Outlaw stack. Had some slight depression when I came off but felt amazing while on it. I’ve done quite a bit of reading and research on the test booster route and have come to the realization that most of them are overpriced for the little to nothing that they do. I just want a slight raise in my T-levels to get that energy back. Not sure where to go from here. Hoping someone might be in a similar situation and knows what might help.

If you believe your testosterone levels may be an issue, I’d certainly opt for meeting with a physician and getting blood work done. At 39, it’s possible your test levels are on the decline, so worth getting it checked out if you haven’t already.

Everything OTC is a band aid at best.

I had them checked. I’m not low enough for HRT and I don’t FEEL like I need it. Libido is great. Energy is just in the crapper. I don’t feel like the PH cycle did a lot for me as far as gains, it helped me lean out some but I felt motivated and had great endurance in the gym. I could work out for an hour and a half or two hours and felt like I could keep going. I’m not ready to be married to a needle. I was just hoping there was something out there that I hadn’t discovered yet... Fountain of youth maybe? Lmao

These are the two PHs. Of course I used their test booster and clomid to follow it up for 4 weeks. I was feeling a little suppressed towards the end of the cycle but feel like I bounced back (libido-wise) fairly quickly. I just had some pretty terrible anxiety and slight depression during my PCT. enough to where I made it a point to remind myself of it if I ever decided to do a PH cycle again. I’ve been lifting seriously since I was 12 or 13 and this was the third PH cycle that I’ve done. I’m open to suggestions, but like I said, I’m not miserably low on T. I’d just like a little boost to help me keep my edge these days.

Not sure if the picture made it across but it was AO’s finavar and super T-drol. Did finavar for 8 weeks and combined with super T-drol for the last four of the 8 weeks. It’s kinda backwards cuz I cut first but decided halfway through that I wanted to try to do a lean bulk. Didn’t work out all that well as you can imagine...

I like a heavy duty nitric oxide product and creatine early on an empty stomach...I notice a little energy increase and vascularity/fullness that is motivating throughout the day...I also train 3 days a week, full body, (with some weak point accessories after) takes about 1hr & 15min. It’s intense, and I’m making strength and size gains but I’m optimizing my sleep and recovery/rest days, which gives me the energy to crush it on the days I do lift.

If your libido is up and you don't feel like you need a boost, maybe it isn't a hormonal issue. When is the last time you took a week off from training? And how is your sleep?

You could try a natural test booster, but from what you describe it sounds more like an energy and rest/recovery issue. If you want to go the route of natural test boosters, the best products available are Alphamax and M-test. Alphamax has a solid profile of natural ingredients to help raise test levels, and it would also be beneficial in helping with sleep and recovery. It might be worth a shot

This. To me sounds like a hormonal issue. Trying a natty supp to try and boost test a little might help short term. You could try alphamax xt or blr viron if you wanted and see how it works for you. Long term you would need something stronger.

My routine is pretty similar to that except that I don’t do it in the mornings. I have noticed that as intense as my workouts are I can’t do it as many days a week as I used to.

It could definitely be that I’m just not getting enough sleep and the older I get the more I notice it... I usually get 6-7 hours a night.

I have not... I just assumed that since my libido was back and I was getting mornin wood, that everything was back to normal. My energy was garbage before the cycle so the fact that it is back to that was not a surprise.

Gotcha. I’m always a proponent of getting bloods done, but no idea how feasible this is for you. Even though libido is back, maybe you haven’t fully recovered yet

I looked up fina var and super T drol. First of all you paid 75 dollars for a bottle of dhea. Then another 75 dollars for a 55 mg prop blend of epiandrosterone DHEA and absorption enhancers. I’m pretty sure anything you experienced was placebo

I’m pretty objective when it comes to trying new stuff. I’ve run the supplement gamut during my 20+ years in the gym so I don’t get all giddy to try new stuff anymore. I think the majority of supps are garbage. There’s really only a few things out there that really have any hard scientific evidence that says they work. Prohormones would be in that exception if you get the right ones. Now I’m not gonna say that I know anywhere close to as much as most of these guys on the PH side of things. I’ve been natural pretty much my entire life with the exception of the original Superdrol (which was amazing) and methyl masterdrol. This was my third cycle and like I said, I wasn’t all that impressed. The fina var made me sweat buckets, but I had no strength gains that were out of the ordinary. And I had the boost in endurance but that was about it. I usually read up on this stuff before I take it but this time I got lazy and fell victim to marketing. Lol. But I have no delusions that it was a great product. I’d like to try something better if you have any suggestions... also if you have any advice to help with the post cycle blues that would be appreciated.

I would just run some CEL M test and low dose clomid or torem for another 8 weeks

at 39 you might look into dermacrine...a lot of guys use dermacrine while on cycle to combat lethargy-for us 'older' guys it is a nice energy enhancer, overall feel good supp, imo.

Is it just test or libido. For test the older guys like dermacine, when libido tanks look at sustain alpha. The combo is killer.

I train at night! Take the supps, when money allows, earlier on...Recovery gets harder as we age, I’m 35.

I can take whatever... money is not really an issue. Just don’t want the ****ty fallout. I was absolutely miserable coming off the AO cycle... mostly mental ****. And I’m a very happy fun-loving guy. It tanked me mentally. I’d rather go on grueling through it than deal with the emotional bull**** again.

Sounds like dermacrine might deserve a shot.
dermacrine has been around for quite some time now-same formula has been carried by 3 different companies--it's history speaks for itself, imo.

So run it 12 weeks and follow with a SERM for about 4 weeks?

I would try 8 weeks dermacrine followed by 4-8 weeks of sustain alpha...that sound good?


no reason to invest in a serm, sustain alpha has it covered.


you should see a decent amount of energy from dermacrine[dhea/preg] plus a real nice feel good effect...

the sustain alpha is really good at increasing libido, feel good effects and most including me get a shot of confidence from it-some call it a alpha feel.
