Carbohydrate Supplements/Mass Gain Weight

Curious of a good carbohydrate supplement? Looking to add carbs to my diet with my protein shakes (dairy free and vegan) Looking for no bloating if possible. I want to use it thought my day at my job (serious labor) and I want to make a shake (add it to my protein powder)

Something simple nothing in the 60$ a month range preferably. You guys are so knowledgeable. I have tried good but I am so lost

Now you dont want to spike insulin too often, as it will stunt GH release, and could potentially hinder fat burning.

I consume syrup now in attempts (its because i had a nissen fundoplication surgery so my tummy is small) cant seem to gain from foods cause of the small meals ( I also consume a liter of virgin oil a week lol) But I look rough.

Looking for something that will make me gain weight so my body has something to eat up while lifting all day 12 hours a day 6 days a week. Only nos are I cant do dairy or meats.

Last blood test stated I had high triglycerides if that helps lol and stable sugar levels

my job is serious lifting, over 100 pounds. Lumber yard. I weight 120 but should be at 160 for my weight. Keep loosing lol. Bad enough before the surgery I could eat anything (xl pizza with no gains)

What kind of surgery was it? Can you expand your stomach over time to be able to consume more food?

I would also recommend rich pianas 5% nutrition real carb supplement. It’s the real deal.

Nissen Fundoplication, I can eat 3 meals the size of a cliff bar and 3 snacks the size of 3 arrow root crackers. So I need drinks in between (250ml every 2 hours max) but it cant be a smoothie it needs to be liquid so it doesn't interfere with my next meal.

They had to sew my stomach around my throat cutting it in half. I lost my 160 pounds from the surgery and now that I do labor it is impossible to stop loosing lol.

I have the protein covered and I take a massive multivitamin and make my drinks with orange juices/almond milks/coconut water. But once again I cant get the carbs because of the thickness (such as porridge I tried) but it was too thick, stopping me from getting my meals.

They cannot help me (medical teams) because it is a costle to see those people plus they stated I have to find what works best. It has only been almost a year (dec 15) so it will take up to 5 years to get back to normal and in 10 years I get the surgery again lol because it will stretch and loosen the valve.

Carbo plus is what I usually mix with my BCAAs or protein shake but Real Carbs by 5% nutrition is awesome.

That sounds intense. I hope one day you will be able to consume whole foods again. Coconut oil is calory dense. That "Real Carb" mix is a good carb mix.

Carbo plus does it turn to liquid or will it be thick?

Know of any healthier ones that wont case the sugar crash? Not simple sugars kinda deal cause I would be drinking it all day.

You need to be eating calorie dense foods, not buying sugar powder. Coconut water and almond milk? Try whole milk and peanut butter.

Avoid rice and pasta. These are not so calorie dense(IMO)

Peanut butter, cheap and insanely calorie dense. Bagels, a regular bagel from the store is gonna be like 300 calories.

Have you ever tried Oat Powder? It's mixes good with protein powder and adds good
amount of complex carbs as well as good fiber. I usually use it in protein recipes and
the brand I've been using is MY Protein plain flavored and they always have great
deals so you grab a 11lb bag for under $20.

Mr Supps carries granites version. I’ve used a few times and tastes pretty good. Karbolyn is also a good way to go.

You guys are helping out alot for suggestions I am greatful. Some are pricey like that Karbo one but I am looking into these.

On the bread note (cant do bread takes too much space up in the stomach stopping other foods :P ) If there is more carb ideas or mass gainers let me know. They arents cheap are they? I def want to avoid simple sugars. Will check this over once home from work all !

To add to your protein shakes, I really like Glycophase from Gaspari or Super Carb from NutraBio. If you are looking for something more affordable, gatorade power would be better. Some people bloat from gatorade powder and some do not. You have to try and see how you react to it. Gatorade powder would be difficult to add to protein powder, but since it is flavored, you can just add water.

I always like using up your mass as a mass gainer when I use to take them. Taste is good and i didn't notice a big bloat or anything.

Karbolyn has always been good to me and I currently use it. Only carbs that I dont get a serious bloat from. You can still find Pro Supps Karbolyn or Karbolic really, really cheap or you can go with EFX version. Run Everything just came out with an intra product that has it as well.

How does this (or other carb replacements) compare to Waxy Maize (which is the only one i have used)?
And is Karbolyn low glycemic?

I never joined the waxy maize train, so I cant compare. Karbolyn is low glycemic. I have tried HBCD and it effects my blood sugar for some reason, so I always go back to Karbolyn/ Karbolic.

I am looking at Glycophase from Gaspari or Super Carb from NutraBio, do they gain mass also? Need weight gain. I cover my fats with tons of olive oil and get protein where needed I think. You guys are giving many great options, and some healthy thanks

tried porridge in my smoothie not even half a cup and it did not end well.... my stomach didnt clear out so I had to miss 1 meal.
That is a concern now too it seems... Wow thanks once again for throwing names and items up for me. I will keep reading them and try to find the best for me as more come up

When it comes to putting on mass, you have to figure a calorie surplus. It wont matter what type of brand of carb powder you use, if you burn more calories than you take in, you are going to lose weight, or at best stay the same. How many calories you can consume via liquid with what you have going for your stomach, I dont know, it is going to be tough, but I wont say impossible.

Glycofuse* ;) Thanks for the love, Ant!

As many have said already, upping your calories from whole food sources is always the way to go before anything else. Products such as Glycofuse can certainly help and are easily digestible which is a big plus.

Just really trying to find something to order... This is hard. I need easy digestible but not anything with massive insulin spikes because it is for the whole day.

Porridge would have been good if it left my gut fast enough to allow me to eat lol

need something that wont get a viscosity of blendid yogurt and avocado.

I am concerned if I get a random potato or oats one that it wont digest. So darn lost. Anyone know of the fast digesting ones that are decent for healthÉ I know sugar is fast lol

Couldn't I just add maple syrup or honey instead of "corn syrup" into my shakes?
There is a pricey product out there "Nestle 2.0" that I once used but my dr said my triglycerides went up.

Ok because I have the almond butter I also started just eating, do you know of any protein powders that aren't as thick in viscosity? Preferably dairy free but anything really that you may have tried?

May also buy Maltodextrin and waxey maize

Maybe try Gatorade ( there is powdered version ) , also as far as a calories are concerned a liquid egg whites would provide protein. Good luck dude .

Thanks, and about creatine. I take a diuretic (hydrochlorithizide ) Can I still try creatine? (Also I only consume 200- 250 ml water every 2 hours.
Not looking for med advice, more less thoughts and opinions on that one subject lol .I am very un familiar with that item "creatine"

Last question:
What one would you suggest for good digestion? I will buy one of these 2.
"Now Carbo Gain 2 lbs"
or

Looking to mainly just add one or the other to my other protein that I already add (10-20 gram shakes now) and then add half of Carbo or naked mass?
