Youtube fitness people and gear

It amazes me how much some YouTubers choose to even respond to PED questions. You can have Q&As without acknowledging every question. Just because people ask doesn’t mean you have to respond to the comment. It’s the same principle you have to apply to trolls - ignoring them is the best policy.

Look at Brian Shaw’s channel - every video some dumbass is genuinely asking if the 4-time strongest man in the world is natural. It’s called World’s Strongest Man, not World’s Strongest Natty - no matter how strong someone is, they will be stronger on the bottle, but still most idiots will never be able to put that together. And you know what Brian does? He doesn’t even acknowledge the comments. He doesn’t need to draw negative attention to his career - he’s trying to be a showman and get paid so he can take care of his family. Answering questions about PEDs is pointless & jeopardizing.

Honestly, I’m excited to see a little more honesty in the coming years. Rich Piana and Bostin Lloyd have shown many that you can still build an empire while being true to your ped use. Ya, I know, both gigantic douches I know, but guess what? Both millionaires while none of us are.

Yeah I know Rich did & said some things wrong, and I didn’t follow his work, but I appreciated him for what he did share and I think he was overall a positive for the fitness world. He sat next to our table at the Cheesecake Factory after the Arnold in 16...he was very friendly to everyone, and I could not believe how incredibly huge he was. He was honestly larger than his videos even portrayed.

At least Rich was an entertainer; Boston is just an idiot who looks like garbage for the amount of drugs he does.

I still follow some of his stuff that I watched from 2012-on that was some more modest advice he gave. I didn’t mind him although he was ridiculous at times. But ya, he was big, and did he lie about anything at all except maybe some narcotic use? Doubtful.

lets not forget that if you are regularly seen my millions, the odds that you are 'site enhancing' are very high too. first synthol, now mediform. i absolutely hate that stuff being allowed - the ultimate 'fake muscle' - "but buy this and train like this and you can look like me too!" gimme big break!

also, if built physique young, it easy to maintain when old - maintaining is way less training than building new. also, even doing "legit" hrt (no more than 200mg) put on about 20 lbs to me (i'm up 30 on 180mg, but i know some is fat but still have decent abs so i know not too much).

either tell truth about hrt or completely dodge - like poster above i hate lying. imagine if drug company or auto company allowed to lie about effectiveness/safety.

That’s the law of individual differences too - more drugs have significantly diminishing returns. Gimme a guy with great genetics on a gram of test vs someone average using 5 grams any day for the better physique. It matters that much. Everyone wants to believe that the sheer amount of juice or years doing it somehow correlates to progress, but that’s just not the case.

Yeah, but it's even more ironic considering I think Boston claimed bodybuilding is 10% genetics and 90% drugs (wasn't there that video with Lee Priest destroying him haha). If this was the case, then he should be an elite-level bodybuilder.

He quit trying before turning 26 years old. That should say enough there. He said some truly asinine things, like he wouldn’t change his diet at all for contest prep, just his drugs.

My favorite was how he would reuse insulin syringes until the pin snapped off.

So weird why he almost lost an arm due to infection and dirty gear. There’s a guy I want to take advice from on ped’s...

The fullness part, no, you can't. Sory, don't want to be absolutistic, but only way for that is via nitrogen retention you get from aas. Talking about the shredded, grainy but yet full muscle look. The "roids" look.

Forget the veins. I have some crazy vascularity. What he’s talking about is the supercharged fullness at a low bodyfat - there is a cell-swelling androgens give that you can’t acquire without in that range.

Shoot. I have never done anything more than creatine and recently started Halo Elite. & I guess it's a weak product. I guess I dont know what I'm doing lol.

Now that you mention it I always remembered back when I did my first dimethazine cycle, first muscle I remember tonnitice right away was my delts looking blown up like 3D and burning like hell even without training directly

Mine twitch when I raise my arm in the air. I literally don’t even train them directly they grow so fast. I remember training naturally and I would spend an hour on shoulders and they never looked like this, ever....

Yeah bro i feel like training natural feels like a waste of time almost because you never get that same look like 3D grainy veiny you name it. I don’t cycle at all anymore because of fears of other compounds triggering anxiety or other mental efffects, but I do run a high trt dose year round and seems to give me the anabolic look that I want while still being able to run such protocol long term and all health markers in check according to doc and blood work.

Minimal direct volume for traps is zero. They grow.

Also traps and delts have a lot more AR's then other muscles, so this is why they grow like weed on aas. Also this is why 3D delts and traps are a quick giveaway for aas use.

Haha nah I don't know how everyone else reacts but my shoulders and traps grow like crazy. It's gentical to some degree though, shoulders and chest are my best muscles.

Mine to. I never ever train traps and they are bigger then most who train them directly all the time. They were like this before aas. Must be bc of my forward head posture from to much computer use haha

Actually talking about not training.. I guess my back and and abs natural, I was born with a vshape but when I added aas the shoulders just took over haha.

Haha.. In all seriousness it's a bit annoying. While I can appreciate growing I would want the muscles to be as even as possible in symmetry. Some guys are not really that big but they have a great symmetrical shape naturally.

If you want to see some hilarious breakdowns of the "Fake Nattys" all over youtube. Look up youtube channel "Philion Fit". he has a whole series called "Fitness Flop" Had me laughing pretty good.
 
So this was Reg Park (Arnold’s idol) at 21 in 1950, which almost universally accepted as before bodybuilders ever used steroids, and before things like diababol even existed.

He of course almost certainly used steroids later in his career as they became available, but he was almost certainly not on steroids here, and likely could have gotten at least a little bigger naturally, as he was only 21 here.

Thanks for those pics bro. I think a lot of us get jaded with thinking no one can achieve great physiques without gear. These pictures do show that impressive size is absolutely achievable. Reg actually looks lean enough to compete if he could drop a few more percent and hang on to some size. Which is really where natural bodybuilding struggles the most. I used to watch that one natural kid that would train w Bostin Lloyd and he would gain 70lbs just to diet off 60. It was nuts.

No problem; it's great motivation for me as well. I'd say that 21-year-old Reg Park could certainly be quite successful as a natural bodybuilder today, especially with the improved knowledge of nutrition and training we have today, as well as some natural supplements, which, while not amazing relative to steroids and whatnot, can still be useful for a lifelong natural. Remember, he was only 21 there too, which is just beginning for a natural lifter. Grimek, while not exceptionally lean, also has some very solid mass/size, even pre-1950, to the point that if someone looked like him today 99% of people would probably swear he's on steroids.
 
Fyi steroids, specifically test was avaliable at that time. Hell even hitler was on it, yet alone bodybuilders...

Really? You want to give some sources for that? I’ll give you my sources for why it was UNLIKELY that bodybuilders in AMERICA were using steroids in the 1940s. If not now, then in the AM, as AM has been sort of slow tonight.

So if the knowledge of testosterone being used by the Russians arrived in the US in the 1950s, please tell me how US bodybuilders would have even known about them, forget used them, in the 1940s. Also, there were not many steroids besides testosterone at the time. Diababol didn’t even exist until the late 1950s.

The introduction of AAS among the American athletes is attributed to Dr. John Ziegler (a physician-member of the U.S. Weight-Lifting Team) who learned about the use of AAS by the Russian team in 1954 during his trip to weight-lifting championships in Vienna (8). Don't have time for that right now, it's morning need to get working, but just the fact that test was "discovered" in 1935 and that a person (albeit an eccentric) like Hitler was using it in the 40's imo does not exclude the possibility that BB'ers were using it. If anybody would have been using them it would have been them. This is just from the top of my head, I am not stating anything conclusively.

If anybody would have been using them it would have been them. This is just from the top of my head, I am not stating anything conclusively.
 
The absolute earliest accusation/claim of steroids reaching even a small portion/area of bodybuilders in the US is the late 40s to early 50s:

But this early timeframe (late 40s) isn’t as generally accepted as the 1954 date which seems more likely, as it gives a name of the person who brought the knowledge back to the US, who he learned it from, and who he first gave it to in the US.

Either way, that means anyone before the late 40s in the US was essentially irrefutably natural, and anyone in the late 40s was most likely natural.

Please read the multiple peer-reviewed academic papers I posted that have a general consensus on when testosterone reached the US, which is the late 1940s at the earliest. Also, if you do the research, in 1935 it was very difficult to extract/synthesize/etc testosterone, so it really wasn’t viable for a little while after that.
 
In 1935, Ernst Laqueur (1866–1947) and his group in Amsterdam extracted and isolated 10 mg testosterone (androsten-17α-ol-3-one) from 100 kg of bull testes, which they found more active than androsterone and named it ‘testosterone’.

I'm not going to get into the debate of who is natural or not on YouTube. I would like to put this into perspective though. Assuming most of them do blast and cruise, with higher cruising doses, I do not blame them. A lot of use here do so, including myself, but with a standard cruise dose. Ask yourself this, if you were making money off your body, which most of these people do from one source or another, wouldn't you do the same? I know I would cruise at a higher dose and probably blast at one as well. Most of there YouTubers rely on their physique for some kind of income, disposable, or as a main source, so I do not blame them one bit. Most would do the same. I have seen some post here, and on these channels, where people are on their moral/ethic high horse. I would love to see what those people would do if they were in the same position.

Yeah, if there’s a lot of money on the line, a career, and fame, you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who wouldn’t use at least some level of steroids/testosterone. That said, there’s a difference between using some testosterone and using testosterone while screaming to the heavens and proclaiming from the rooftops that you’re a lifelong natty. I think that’s the issue a lot of people here have. If you use, just keep quiet about it if you don’t want to admit it, but don’t base your entire career and reputation on lying about it. That’s irresponsible.
