DHT levels and hair loss

Hi all,

I decided to make a more specific thread to get right to the point.

What are the maximum safe doses for Epiandrosterone and Androsterone?

Research tells me anywhere between 250-1000mg of EPI is good. Androsterone I found 400-600mg. But these are not stacked values.

I had planned to do 1000mg a day of Epiandro but should I decrease that amount if I take a daily 360mg of Androsterone?

Main goal is to avoid hair loss. I have DHT blocking shampoo ready.
 
If your goal is to reduce/avoid hairloss I would avoid DHT based AAS/PHS all together. Not sure about all the dosages and stuff like that, but use your DHT shampoo ED or EOD, massage scalp daily, maybe buy a dermal roller... usse that once a week with some something like extra virgin olive oil haha

I have male pattern thinning. Ran 750 mg a day Epi Andro for 8 weeks. No additional thinning. Used my regular dosage rogaine that I take normally off cycle.

What the f&@k man? Really? I’ve been on for about a month and a half bud. Even my Temple areas are filling up. Very slightly but it’s taking place. Where did you get yours at?

What do you currently use?

I got mine from a reputable source where I got other research chems and they worked well (forgot the name lol) atm I use minoxidil twice a day, finasteride 5 days a week, red light therapy 3-4 times a week for 10-20 mins and derma roll once a week with a biotin spray on that day (minoxidil apparently effects collagen production, which is one of the main benefits of dermarolling so it would cancel out the benefits if you put minox on for 24 hrs)

I did get a hair transplant for my temples though, about 6 months ago and they are really starting to look good... I seem to be maintaining everywhere with this routine, besides the crown which is SLOWLY thinning... I might need to change my routine or go see a specialist again to reassess
 
Well,

I am 25 and have super thick hair. My dads 60 and still full. My main concern is if having such a high dose of Epi on top of Androsterone will be a little too bad for my scalp.

I would just shave my head. Thats too much work to try to stop something thats gonna happen anyways despite your best efforts. If you got the gene you're gonna go bald. What ive noticed with guys that try real hard to either stop/slow or hide the balding process they usually just end up making themselves look way worse for way longer when in reality they actually look pretty good with a shaved head. Thats just my opinion you're free to disagree of course but if it was me i would save myself lots of time, effort, and money

If you're 25 with super thick hair and your dad is 60 with a full head of hair i dont see why you're even worried about it. Obviously the risk is there, but if you dont have the MPB gene then the risk is pretty small

If it were that easy, I would shave my head... but trust me when I say this... that is the worst case scenario. My head shape and size is abnormal and I would not be able to go outside without people looking or making comments, I do really need my hair lol. It's funny people wish for house, money and or love, I just wish to have a normal proportioned head, dont even care if my face is ugly, I can work for the rest
 
People with a predisposition for hair loss have poor bloodflow to the scalp and this causes a buildp of 5ar. Which wont do anything without test to turn it into DHT. That said IMO test can be just as bad for your hair as DHT because the conversion in the scalp is much higher than in the rest of the body. Same goes for prostate issues
