Left field, maybe silly, paranoid question about ephedra

Ok so this is pretty left field.

To preface, I have a guilty conscience and have a hard time letting things go sometimes.

So basically two 25 mg ephedra pills dropped out of my pocket where I live on one of the train platforms where I live. Since they were dirty now I decided to kick them
Onto the tracks.

Here comes my silly concern. I’m concerned that a homeless addict might find and take them and have a bad reaction.

I understand there is an insanely low chance of this happening because one, they are on the tracks, two it’s 50mg, three the two pills were kicked so they split up significantly in different directions, so
More like only 1 25 mg pill would be taken.

Anyways, again it’s on the frickin train tracks. I highly doubt a homeless person would pick up a random white pill and take it.

My concern is a pre existing heart condition and I am responsible for a bad reaction or death

I thought about picking them
Up and throwing them in the trash but the platforms are very dirty so I kicked them away in a split second decision.

I understand this is extremely paranoid but just needed to get it off my chest and also I guess to get some rational feedback.

Thanks
Guys.

I'm not trying to be funny or put you down in any way, but honestly, you should see a doctor about your anxiety, from the sounds of things, it could drastically improve your quality of life to get that managed. But to answer your question: 1) while you should make an effort to dispose of pills properly, the responsibility would lie with the person who took random pills they found on the train tracks, so don't feel too guilty. 2) the chances of someone even finding them are slim, once they get wet, they'll start breaking down. 3) like you said yourself, the person would have to already have a heart condition, find both pills, and take them both at once in order to be in maybe kind of almost danger, so the chances of everything lining up perfectly for something bad to happen are so slim to none.

Thanks for your response.

Yeah I do see someone for my anxiety. I just decided to bring this up here in regards to the stim subject and get feedback. But I understand it is very anxiety based.

Again, thanks for the feedback.

If a homeless drug addict picks up random pills and takes them then you arent responsible. Thats on them for any consequences not you. Your not responsible for others choices or the consequences of those choices.

You're a good person and that isn't related to your anxiety. More than likely those pills will get crushed or destroyed as they are not designed to exist outside of a bottle for very long. Even a homeless addict isn't going to pick them up...what if it's rat poison? Addicts will do a lot to get a hold of drugs, but they're not picking everything off of the ground and throwing it in their mouths.

Again, you're a good person and you shouldn't feel bad at all.

I hope I didn't come off rude, I have some issues myself and seeing a doctor helped a lot, but it was also hard to get myself to go, so I pinky swear, it's coming from a good place. But yeah, like everyone else has said, I wouldn't worry about it, even if something were to somehow happen, it wouldn't be your responsibility.

Absolutely agree with this and the other posts. 100% don’t need to sweat that at all.

But, it may be worth chatting through your natural reaction with a professional bro. Especially if it’s something that happens in other aspects of your life (your opening paragraph suggests you’ve had similar situations before).......even if your not sure you need it seeking professional help is never a bad idea.

I am probably going to feel bad about it...but I agree with this guy!!!

You are a good person to worry about that, but it isn't your responsibility. If you toss them out and they steal out of your garbage, you can't control that.
