Hey guys, so I'm running my first cycle of test e @ 500 mg/week split into 2 pins. So, it's my first time with the pins and I was wondering a few things:
1. Seems to be normal to be a bit sore around the site, kind of like I bruised my leg (I went the quad as my site) is that typical? Or does it become lessened the more you use a site? I'm pretty sure it's not an affection, I was super cleanly about the whole process. No redness or swelling. Just sore
2. Is the quad a could site? Seems to be a toss up between that and glutes, at least for beginners. Any input would be awesome. Debating about trying the glute next time, just seems tricky
2.5 As for the quad, a lot of the videos I saw seemed to be kind of aligned with the pocket, a little ways down and on the side. Is that best? I saw some that seemed to be almost more on top, than the side
3. Is a 1" needle too big? I'm using 25G 1" needles and it seemed like pushing it in all the way would be overkill. I went about 3/4 and felt a sting so stopped and injected. Did I hit a nerve maybe?
Any help as to improving my pinmenship would be awesome! Thanks!
