Hahaha, busted. Yeah sometimes I admit. This post was meant to be humorous and troll myself while giving kudos to Swimfan. Dude is massive, I'm 5'10 id be happy at 6ft much less 6'6 I can't even imagine being that big.

Honestly I wear fullfingered gloves.Mainly to stay free of germs on gym equipment, and stylish purpose for me if I look good I'll work out better..

I never hate on anybody's gym attire. I wear fingerless gloves with wrist support when I am benching or on a couple of grips in my gym were the nurling is like metal sandpaper

Yea I hear you man ,when in the gym it's not really about gym attire, gloves etc it's all about what your physique is looking like and how much work you putting in.Your physique will show your level will and drive..

Do y'all have matching purses to go along with those gloves. Lol. Jk

Micheal Jackson wore gloves too.. very strong guy.. I wear tape when my hands fail me..

Ughhh not sure if the have underArmor purses for gym purposes
Haha good catchTMloc. I literally own 2 pieces of under armor clothing and that is one of them. I'm too cheap to buy under armor, I shop at Walmart for most of my gym apparel.

Yeah same here lol you'll never catch me wearing gloves in the gym. I dont even wear gloves for work. If my hands tear pulling in the gym ill tape em sometimes

I would never wear gloves in the gym either.. gloves make me sweat way too much and I just don't need them.

I will usually wear gloves if I am doing actual work, though. Mainly so I can keep clean hands to answer the phone or research how to do whatever it is I'm doing. Our job sites require subs to wear gloves no matter what you are working on, so I have to set a good example if I get to do some actual work! Lol

We have full finger gloves at work that have a rubberized inner palm and fingers. Makes pulling movements so much easier! Say what ya'll want, but if you had these gloves, you'd be wearing them too.

Probs not.. I like doing manly things..

Somehow, fingerless gloves seem even more weird to me.. Gloves just kind of creep me out overall. Lol

If you lift pavers/bricks all day long and don’t put on the gloves then that’s your choice but it doesn’t make you more of a man. I wear the gloves at work when I feel like it, which is most of the time. Why wouldn’t you? To prove a point to the other guys? Well, nobody cares whether you wear gloves, and the fact that your out there using your hands and body already proves your tougher than most men, but you may as well be smart about it.

Wearing gloves in the gym is a different story. I see no point in that. Everything is designed to be picked up in there. Your hands should be able to handle gym equipment.

Gloves are very big issue for one of the two reasons I stated earlier, sometimes when we're in the gym goin monster status small things kinda slip..Like super settings with sweaty ass palms after you picked your nose between on of your supersets someone might decide get a set in real quick than Boom you grab sweaty handles..Just me tho..Headphones & gloves for me is a must!!

I think you misunderstood what we were saying.. gloves during actual work is practical and has good cause in alot of cases.. splinters suck especially stone or fiberglass ones.. we were mostly meaning in the gym as far as manliness.. where things are designed for you to lift them..

Lol, love this glove conversation. But for the record Ronnie Coleman wore gloves in the gym for almost every workout.

True. But Arnold, Franco or Frank Zane didn’t wear gloves. And for the record, Ronnie didn’t wear gloves for “almost every workout.” He wore them a lot, yes, but also didn’t wear them a lot.

Won't disagree with you on the first 3, but it is very hard to find a pic of ronnie working out without gloves on

I guess,I never thought about it too much i wear gloves on bench because i have bad nerves and i get that stinging needle pain when i go above a certain weight

Yeah I pretty much only use it on bench and other heavy presses for wrist support. But I can appreciate and laugh at all of the glove hate even when directed at me, lol

You didn't realize requiring "help and a cushion" to lift things makes you a bit of a *****?.. do you also use a bar pad to squat?

That damn bar pad is another conversation altogether... I just shake my head when i see teenage guys use it for 185lbs.
