YK11 at the end of a cutting cycle?

To provide a little background before my question, I'm coming to the end of a prolonged fat loss phase, roughly 20 weeks. I've been running Ostarine at 20mg per day for the last 8 weeks along with Clen. I've cut my weight considerably, it's been predominantly a mixture of water and fat loss but there's bound to be some muscle loss.

A friend of mine has given me a bottle of YK11, enough to run 10mg ed for 4 weeks. I'm wondering whether there's likely to be any benefit to doing so at the end of this cut or whether I'd be better off saving it for another time?

I'm quite keen to give YK11 a try as it's one of the few 'sarms' I haven't tried out.

Thanks in advance!

I'd save it and wait till I could run it at a higher dose for longer. That's just me.

Yeah, ideally I would run it higher for longer. I wouldn't expect much in the way of results in 4 weeks and I'd rather not prolong my current cycle so I may save it.

I would be interested in seeing if anyone has tried it as a finisher for a cycle, sarms or otherwise.

Not quite sure what your goals are at the end of your cut. If the goal is to stay cut, YK-11 would not be a good way to go as it tends to cause bloat as it did to me. Other than that...I loved it!

The short half-life was annoying though too.

Bloating was a worry of mine, obviously not ideal at the back end of a cut.

I might save it in which case, I'm planning on a couple of months off any sarms / ph's / aas. I may add it in my Trest & Epistane cycle.

What kind of results did you see from YK11?

huh?

YK11 shouldn't have caused any bloat, since it can't aromatize. the half-life is also about the same as ostarine.... are you sure your source was legit?

as far as using it at the end of a cycle, it might have MORE merit there, due to the myostatin reducing effects that it has, which would undoubtedly be a bigger issue at the end of a cycle vs the beginning of a cycle.

Possibly a little bro science on my part but my theory was that myostatin would be an issue towards the end of a cycle predominantly. Hence I thought YK11 & it's myostatin reducing effects would be most beneficial at this point. 50/50 on whether to add it in now...

Amazing strength as well as top notch pumps/muscle fullness. I think I used it 4 weeks or so...gave it up due to increased abdominal bloat.

I have no reason to believe it was not legit.

Most people have to dose it at least TID. The half life is estimated to be around 6 hours...but the benefits would fade after 3-4 hrs for me at the very most.

It's a DHT but also progestin derivative...therefore the high potential for bloat/water retention. Tony Huge for one did not recommend it on a cut for that reason...nor do I.

What dosage did you run it at? I picked some up to spare muscle on a summer cut but may now save it for a bulk in the fall. Might be an individual thing with the bloat. Curious

So it's not a SARM?

odd, I've seen the half-life listed as 23 hours or so.

2-4 mg TID but easily could have done QID. I had 4mg pills and I was trying to make it last. People are likely to respond to it differently and have different side effects...just like anything else I suppose. I would recommend saving it though and using something else if all you want to do is spare muscle.

No...not technically a SARM and certainly does not have the half-life of Ostarine for example.

interesting... I stand corrected.

I know very little about YK (obviously), but am perplexed it's marketed as a SARM and find the conflicting info from various sites to be a little disconcerting.

My research on this has still left me wondering about the half life.

Thanks for the link. Informative. Think it changed my mind and I'll run it on a bulk because I like high dose epiandro on a cut and yk11 competes for receptors with dht. Maybe I'll go with s23 for the cut
