Ache in liver

Has anyone ever taken an oral and actually felt an ache where there liver is? I’m on 10mg of osta and only a week and a half in and this ache persists throughout the whole day. Everything else is fine. My energy is great, my piss is clear, skin looks normal, etc. I am taking milk thistle at 200 to 300 mg per day. Maybe I should triple this dose. Up until this point I have continued my daily habit of having a night cap (1 or 2 beers) but I will cut this out completely to see if the issue resolves.

Unfortunately I cannot get blood work this early into the cycle. Getting blood work after the cycle and then after the pct is as far as my wallet can stretch.

Thanks for any input on the above question, and thanks especially for any input that directly relates to ostarine and liver health.

Constructive criticism only. If you want to take one good jab by insulting my intelligence and then offer constructive criticism, that’s cool.

Definitely cut out the booze. Get yourself some tudca. I had a similar thing happen when taking OL epi5tane. Not totally convinced the epistane was legit but liver started to hurt after a few days

Cut the alcohol, it's bad enough on your liver taking orals and alcohol will just cut you up further. You don't want to risk cirrhosis for muscles. Your health > aesthetics.

This isn't an insult....which side is the ache on? Ive talked to several people over the years who were sure they were having liver pain, and when I asked where, they pointed to the other side.

It’s on the right side. It’s very dull. It’s more of an over awareness of it being there, as if it it’s swollen. I have the habit of over thinking things so I can’t rule out that possibility.

Throw out that osta. I took osta and never had that problem.

This is one of the most reputable companies out there. But something fishy did happen. I week after I ordered the ostarine I got an email from the company. They said they were putting their ostarine on a mega sale and when it sells out they will pull it from their product line. This raised some questions for me. Ostarine was listed on their site alongside lgd as their most popular items, so I can’t help but wonder why they would stop selling it.

Ok. IMO your biggest need for blood work is now. What's the purpose of blood work anyway?

I'd definitely stop the alcohol. ....and personally, I'd be tempted to stop that Osta.

But definitely blood work.

I’m gonna start off by cutting out alcohol for the rest of the cycle while doubling my milk thistle dose. I’ll also look into other liver support in the meantime. If this doesn’t resolve the issue then I’ll get my blood work early, and depending on the result, I may drop the cycle.

Dude, screw the milk thistle, you need yourself NAC (N-Acetyl-Cysteine) and TUDCA. If you have an ache near your liver, that means your liver is getting pummeled regardless if your urine is staying clear. Get those 2 things I mentioned yesterday and cut out the alcohol.

I'm on test prop right now with nanodrol and I'm taking arimacare, extra tudca and nac. Why play around with your liver when stuff like nac is dirt cheap.

I took EA osta before and drank on cycle *not advisable at all* but seeing as osta isnt hepatoxic i dont know what the big deal is? I know its still an oral being digested through the liver but in theory it should be fine.

I too thought the whole “mega osta sale” was sketchy. Apparently GTX is pulling it as they couldnt get funding for it.

Dude, go on the site and check out the price now. Now they’ve decided to rip people off with the rest of their batch. I don’t see myself ordering from there again, or using SARMS in general really (maybe one lgd cycle). But I’m determined to finish this cycle.

And I’ve seen some threads on here with blood work posted and ostarine definitely raises liver enzyme levels significantly, putting them out of the healthy range. Now whether or not that actually translates to real damage I don’t know. But it’s definitely pointing in that direction. And I’m glad to know that you didn’t suffer any consequences from drinking on cycle. That’s good news for me and all other booze hounds out there.

Thats a joke. Mk677 used to be about 49 bucks... like a year ago. that stuff is now over 100 bucks as well. I love sarms but the whole industry is kind of turning into a joke. You have dylan gemelli and isarms saying no pct required and no side effects, now EA dropping osta all together, selling dnp *isnt this like a argicultural pesticide?* and now skyrocketing the osta price?...

Yeah it is all a corrupt business and a bit of a joke. Dylan Scamelli is the worst.

This question goes out to everyone who’s run osta. What kind of results did it even give you and did you keep those results?

Like others have said, sounds like your Osta is not Osta. Generally speaking what was the source? RC? I would cut out all alcohol while running anything, but 1-2 beers with 10mg of Osta should never cause what your describing.

What would GTX pulling it have to do with it? If anything this would make it more available as they wouldnt go after people for selling it.
GTX is full steam ahead with Enbosarm. They had a press release today about their latest PII trial being fully enrolled. The closer it gets to approval is when you will see it disappear.

Well this was a waste of money and time. I’ve decided osta isn’t worth it. I made it less than two weeks in this cycle. Only made it two weeks on cardarine too when I decided the little bit of benefit it provided toward endurance wasn’t worth the health risks.

Those were my introduction to ped’s and now I’m turned off from the idea of running any ped again. SARMS are definitely out of the question. That business is probably shadier than underground AAS. Looks like I’m going back to the natty life.

I agree with most on cutting alcohol out while on cycle but I’d say that for any compound as just a sensible approach to ones health.

I’m struggling (based on what I’ve read) to believe that legit osta at that dose would cause that issue so personally I’d want to get bloods to just check.

Don’t disagree with getting TUDCA/NAC as well while waiting on bloods but you could be treating the wrong issue.....

Hope you get it sorted bro

get Vector - all natural and blows Osta away.

I believe just about all bodybuilding supplements don’t work, or the little bit of benefit they provide is not worth the price. It’s mostly just another money trap. Even creatine, which I know has a lot of evidence to support its effectiveness, doesn’t work on me. I’ll probably just focus on doing things the old school way - all natural. I might revisit the idea of using AAS one day, or if a really legit supplement comes out then I’ll look into it.

Choline inositol. Has anyone heard of this? I just found out that this is probably the best in cycle liver support available according to some sources. I’m gonna start researching now so maybe I can wake up tomorrow, pick some up and save my cycle.

Dude....TUDCA is the best, no matter what your research says.....but if it isnt your liver...you could be screwed anyway. You need bloods. Period.

I swear..it's INSANE.
People ask for help...even regarding their health, and then just ignore it.

I didn’t ignore it. I need liver support now, on very short notice. So I can’t wait to order online and the vitamin shoppe near me doesn’t have TUDCA. It has NAC and choline inositol. I’ll be trying to line some blood work up soon. That’s not an instant thing either.

Ok bro.
But, you can have TUDCA in your hand in 3 days, if you choose to.

I'm glad you're working on your situation. I hate to see anyone mess themselves up.

Bruv. Amazon, OL tudca. You can get it in two days. Like 50 bucks, you can take a gram a day for a month. In the meantime get the nac and take it until you get some tudca( and run them both when you get it)

Better yet, go with nutricost. Reputable company and WAY cheaper on the TUDCA. It's about $30

Theres a great series on youtube called ask the doctor or whatever and the guy is a trt doc and an absolute genius. He tals about choline and one other substance as the absolute best liver cleanse. Its what all the old school guys would do and id try to find that video if i was you. Even if you cant find what im referncing, the knowledge the doc drops is invaluable and everyone should hear it

Liver ache can be mistaken for gallbladder pain. Osta can effect cholesterol, which plays a large part in gallbladder well being. Maybe dropped HDL to a significant level. Take lots of fish oil and see how you feel.

I know Milk Thistle use be the way to go. Now, it slows or blocks something from the receptors? What’s a good alternative to use now? Tudca and what else? Or what’s the most bang for your buck?

Thanks for all the advice I got on here. I think it’s accelerating hair loss as well and that’s the final straw. Osta isn’t supposed to effect that but if you check around online you’ll see other people have had this side effect. I’m 25 and I have very nice head of hair, but after two weeks on this stuff I can see my scalp through the first few centimeters of my hairline if I stand in the right lighting. I know this means I’m likely gonna go bald anyway but I prefer to hold off for as long as possible. Choline inositol is supposed to increase hair thickness as well as heal fatty liver. All the bodybuilders in the ‘70s took 3000mg a day and if you watch pumping iron you’ll notice none of them were bald in spite of their insanely high dbol doses.

Omg seriously??? Do bloods! Jeeez is that so hard!?? Check your alt and ast levels together with other liver health markers. Like bilirubin, ggt, etc.

Osta had a very significant impact on my liver. My liver enzimes were through the roof. Like 8x above normal range, from 25mg osta 5 weeks in. OL UK osta from pred.

Osta is toxic. Even at 3mg in the study 8 people had elevated enzymes and one person had them 5x above upper limit and had to be removed from the study. Osta is hepatotoxic. Period.

Also UDCA or TUDCA are the most researched and clinicaly proven compounds that help remove the bile from the liver. UDCA is a prescription drug that is used exactly for this.

Also, from just two weeks of osta there is no damage to you're liver. So relax :) Also, it might all just be in your head. Having liver pain from two weeks on osta is really hard to believe.

Yo Jinsun. I remember reading your thread. How is your liver doing now? Also how is your test? I remember you not running any SERM for pct.

I'll be doing another blood test this week, I'll post the results in the topic. But sorry to disappoint; I started taking 10mg tamox ed. Just to bring test back up a bit quicker. Took it for 7 days, that's it. Now let's see what my levels will be 7 days after last dose of tamox... But I still presume that I didn't need it...

Just ordered TUDCA, choline inositol, and I’m already stocked up on milk thistle. We’ll see how all that treats me.
