How much celery seed extract?

I didn't find it very helpful until I got to 300mg/day. I was only able to find 1 study that they tested some number of thousands of mg safely. Sounds like you can bump it to whatever you feel necessary. It appeared to lower bp about 20 points the first few days. I'm currently experimenting with higher doses but not long enough to give any constructive feedback.

But it do lower your bp and keep that safe right?

I take Hawthorn Berry, but a cardiac Nurse recommends Celery seed extract 75mg twice a day, so I am looking into that.

Depends entirely on the extract and what it's standardized to/for. Plenty of companies throwing regular celery seed powder in caps (cycle support and otherwise) with no standardization.

The most common or known active in celery seed extract is 3nB (3-n-butylphthalide).

Eating lots of fresh celery can do wonders for your overall health, including hypertension.

I always aim for 150-200mg of 'extract' on cycle.

From what I have gathered I don't think there is much merit to it without the 3nB extract.

As Renew said, Hawthorne is good too, but I use them both together to get decent control over no.

And yes Brodie, that definitely showed in the study and practice to lower bp safely. I've not come across any side effects whatsoever from taking celery seed. I had a real issue on cycle until I added the celery 3nB extract in and now have it under control.

I found celery seed extract to work much better for me than hawthorne. At least I could tell a difference by the reduction in headaches and general crappy feeling I get when my BP has gone up. I usually have to take a minimum of 150mg, and sometimes bump it up to 225mg, to get the benefits tho.
