Will I be able to maintain all my mass 2-3lbs a week with 250 test cyp +400 iu HCG

Im on TRT my dose is 250 test cyp 400 iu HCG every other day. If I cut 2-3 lbs a week while lifting 6x a week training everything 2-3x a week. Is this enough to maintain all my muscle? Will I gain muscle? will also get 200+ grams of protein daily over 1x body weight
 
Depending on current bodyfat, 2-3lbs is pretty aggressive. Will you hold your muscle? Possibly, depends: you coming off a blast or a bulk? Doubt youll add muscle, especially as fatloss stalls and youll have to increase kcal deficit to maintain 2-3lb loss. Also depends on how long youre looking at doing this.

Lots of variables but if you end up adding lean mass (unlikely) then great.

No blast just my trt dose and finishing a bulk. About to be on trt for 3months. And just a month I’m like 18% body fat want to get to 12 for spring break

Unless youre like 300lbs then 250mg should be plenty to hold muscle in your scenario. Id probably run protein higher than 200gm, or at least consider ramping it up over your cutting period as CHO decreases.

Entering 3rd month on Wednesday and no ai. No need st least I don’t think so. Dr never prescribed plus no signs of e2 issues. Do want to get e2 checked tho. Also I’m like 193 right now. And cho?

Is strength gain and indicator of muscle gain. Two days ago 60 dB shoulder press only 7x today 11 and 65 7x

Well I was bulking before trt. Started mid 180s then mid 190s and about the same body fat. Idk how I gained muscle so fast since not suppose to work until 3rd month. Some guy from Class who hasn’t seen me for one month asked if I was on roids or something

Well you are on roids
My point is to gain 2-3 pounds of muscle you must have gained 8-12 pounds of body weight.
You can keep it for sure
Especially if you achieved it from just food training and TrT

What about all my body mass from before test. I have a good base. Can I keep all of it? My diets really good

But if you plan on loosing more and more weight you will eventually loose muscle strength

Aye, dropping carbs will tend to have an impact on performance and obviously muscle fullness.

OP, if your arms measure 17" now dont expect them to measure 17" 4wks from now (given the specifics of your situation).

Naw wish they were 17” how much you think I’ll lose in terms of size?

But if you plan on loosing more and more weight you will eventually loose muscle strength
And reason I ask is I’ve read from Layne Norton and others that maintain strength is a good indicator you are keeping muscle. So if that’s the case if I gain stength does that mean I’m gaining muscle

All kinds of factors come into play when you're talking about executing a lift with more weight than previously.
But I would say yes getting stronger is a good indicator of getting more muscle
 
A lot of times when we lose weight it's just useless fat so it's possible to get stronger while losing useless fat. But eventually you will lose muscle if you continue to lose weight and eventually you lose strength if you lose muscle or something like that

That’s because 250mg/week is a cycle, not trt.

Also 2 terms you don’t see in the same breath often...

It is uncommon to see someone speak of “spring break” and being “in class” and also speak of trt. You are obviously young.

Is this self administered trt (aka, cruising)?

What did 200mg/week have your total test levels at to warrant increasing to 250? Especially with hcg

I’m 25. Also felt
Miserable for years. No sex drive couldn’t get hard etc. test levels low 400. Ever since started felt amazing and normal. Also did blood test 6 days after injection was around 700. This is from a dr

As for your original questions, I haven’t taken the time to read what all everyone has answered, but there are so many variables to this. We could give opposing answers and all be wrong. Eat right, train hard and rest properly and nothing but good will come of it.

I sleep 8-9hours a day. Train 6x a week. Hit everything 2-3x a week. Have a good diet. Hit all macros etc. I’ve been lifting serious for 5 years just with minimal results since due to t lvls. My main question was this though. Got no responses reslly.

But you’ve only been on test for a few months. And you’re cutting. So it will be slower. And I do t mean to sound like 250 is crazy high, it’s just higher than typical trt dosage. Would be curious to see your levels.

Anyhow, my opinion is also that perhaps you’re overworking the muscles. Depending on intensity, 3x per week, week in and week out, is a lot.

i take 1 rest day. I only plan on cutting hard core for a month. Then depending on how I look I’ll go one more month max. Is this a waste or not. I don’t want to waste potential gains tbh

That’s what I’m saying man, I don’t know. Nobody knows. Only 1 way to find out!!

Eat, train and rest for your particular goal, and results should follow. There are exceptions to every rule.

Cutting hard and gaining strength and muscle typically don’t go hand in hand. But you might be that freak.

Haha so I’m gaining strength still. At 2k calories a day. Losing weight fastttt. Today did 70 I’m db sp7-8x up from 65 two days ago and time before that 60. Also all other lifts are up. What’s going on??

Report back in a couple weeks. If the trend continues then you are on to something
