I think it is dumb to not allow yourself to have any "dirty" foods or free foods. If you can go without them, great, but I believe allowing these foods in your diet can alleviate binging or excessive cheat meals. I follow the 10%-20% rule where I let 10% or so of my calories to come from dirty/free foods. For example, I will have a serving or two of cereal, pastry, ice cream, etc daily. I have noticed by having a serving of cereal a day, 120 cals or so, makes me not crave larger cheat meals.
