So anastrozole didn't agree with me, so I got letrozole. Took it yesterday, woke up today with blurry vision and feeling very lethargic.
Does anyone else get this?
What else should I try? Which estrogen blocker has the least side effects?
blood test ordered by doctorHow do you know you need to reduce e2?
sort of an allergy, my nose was congested and my face got swollen a bitBlood labs.
What was your problem with adex?
You probably crashed your estrogen considering the fact that letrozole is extremely potent and that you are feeling lethargic.

yes correct, which i don't mind, i took the dose the doctor prescribed, 2.5mg
i just need to find an estrogen blocker that my body can handle
-But when you already crashed your e2, why do you still need an AI?
-Was the adex also prescribed?
-What about exemestane?
-What about a SERM?
what serm do you recommend? would work like an ai and achieve the same thing?
2.5mg of pharma letro is a HUGE dose bro and would make about anyone feel horrible. Those are cancer doses of letro, not male controlling estrogen doses.
well, fatigue is a common side effect from various AIs and SERMs.
personally, a-dex doesn't bother me, but aromasin knocks me out as much as antihistamines do.
an obvious solution would be to take it at night, and see if that helps...
also, I presume you've talked to you doctor about this?
No, I don't recommend anything, as your case is not steroid related and needs a professional.
i am not playing around with these things, they are prescribed to me by an andrologist, a doctor specialized in male hormones
a couple of things i've noticed after this first dose of letro
- blurry vision, especially after waking up
- swollen face
- extreme lethargy
- chest gyno shrunk a little bit, but noticeably
- my throat feels itchy, and kinda like it's tightening. probably a sign of allergy
on the other hand, it feels like it's working quite well. i wonder if i can handle these side effects for a couple of years, or if they'll go away with time. otherwise i'd love it if there was an alternative that works as well as letro
Not to sound like a dickhead, but you need a new Doc.
Then why make another. That was already established in his original thread.
