PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENTS!!!!

I like to make a thread for everyone to post their personal achievements on, whether it's a new personal record, maybe you hit a body look goal or weight goal, or even achievements in your daily lives that you're proud of and want to express. I can't keep up with everyone's logs and my own life stuff but I'd like to know how everyone is doing with their workouts and life.

Positive vibes for this thread!!!!

Good thread. Got a minor injury so I'm slowing down on body look goal. But this new to me Jeep TJ makes me smile for a couple of days now. Not in pristine condition but I can manage the minor leaks/repairs, and the new shocks and smittybilt bumper on the way. This is my dream weekend toy!

Good idea for a thread. Right now I am really looking to continue building muscle mass and slowly dropping fat. Also looking to be able to finally rep 225 bench more than once haha. Slowly getting there, but being patient. I find it hard to increase that number.

Bench presses are usually mostly determined by body weight, what’s your body weight?

What’s your split look like and how long have you been lifting? There there’s also diet and genetics but I’m assuming your eating to grow.

trust me I had many falls on my journey to sobriety, the important thing is to get back on that path....for me GOD was the answer.

thebigt that’s great and very inspirational! My issue with alcohol is just that I don’t know my limits with doesn’t turn well when I’m not thinking. Huge props for such a long time without drinking! DemntedCowboy it’s alright man, we are all human. Life a roller coaster so soon enough you’ll be back on track! If your past is the issue then do everything in your power to overcome it. I’ve had the past hold me back and what keeps me away from it is that Ive learnt from it, accepted it has happened, and that I’m building for a future. It’s easier said than done but anyone can do it, we all may be different but all in all we are humans, other people have been in our position and have conquered their self.

Here’s a little video that I love, it’s a bit raw so be aware that some truths may come to mind. https://youtu.be/MQgC2nI6Wu4

I'm mostly working on my back and losing weight... Takes a lot of time at my age. In the beginning I also wanted to build muscles and define my body, but I think that's not my primary goal anymore. Just want to be in shape a little more. I already lost 30 lbs and still try to lose 50 more...

Today, I remember Aaron D. Gautier, 18 yrs old, killed in Iraq 17 May 2007. I left him on a vehicle telling him it was the safest place for him, and told his fiancee I would bring him back home. Instead I earned a Purple Heart, and so did he Posthumously. Unfortunately I sent him home in a casket. I love you brother and hope GOD is holding you tight in his arms tonight on this Veterans Day

I've been married over 11 years to the same girl and she still thinks that I hung the moon. Turns out taking that hypnosis class was actually a good thing. Lol! In all honesty though, I never expected it to last this long because I thought for sure she would get tired of my antics and leave me. I never stayed with the same girl more than a month or two before I was on to the next one. Shortly after marriage, we started going to church and both our lives changed for the better. I have definitely been blessed to have (and keep) a wife as good as her!

I have 10 years sober on the 25th of November so to me that's a pretty big achievement considering at one point I didn't plan on living past 24. I'm almost 32 now and glad I'm still alive

I have GERD aka acid reflux disease which is a direct consequence of my drinking. I also have OCD, anxiety and depression. But besides that no. I planned on only living to 24 because I had decided I was just going to let drugs and alcohol kill me and at that point unfortunately I was ok with that. I had a divine intervention and decided I wanted a new way of life

Maybe 9 or 10 years ago I started making a poker table that I never finished. For all that time, it was taking up space in my garage/shop. After someone contacted me about making a table for them, I suggested that table. Sent them some pics and a price. They liked what I had done so far and said they wanted it. YES!!!! So, my accomplishment is finally getting that thing finished and out of my garage!

Signed a lease for my first apartment yesterday! After a year of being homeless, recovering from identity theft and fighting a felony charge. Beat the felony, identity recovered and no longer homeless. I'm at ease. God is Great.

I had dealt with identity theft last year. Mine was a very mild case but still scary and messed up. Glad you got that fixed. It truly sucks when someone can walk into your bank as YOU and withdraw all of your money from a teller!
