Well, I would certainly be pricing things out and looking at both long term costs....one thing is sun doesnt change price, but oil can be unstable and double in price really quick or worse.

Then you can always upgrade, I would think 5-10 years mass production would be better along with competition that it should bring the price down with the benefit of better tech.

You put an important question to figure before the initial investment.

You know I think you can sell back surplus energy too I think but I havent looked into that.

No because is not my place to, I probably can(and so could anyone)if I watch the whole series but I don't believe that is where God(the universe) wants me to be. I do not believe the majority of people are willing to comprehend the psychology behind the Bible even if it was given to them on a platter. It's would have to be indoctrinated into the minds of our youth for it to be relevant. There is a relevance to the non scientific side of the Bible but only to those that need a sort of faith based guidance to get them through life.

You're right, but currency will always exist. It's the mindset that matters, it's either selfishness or selflessness. One creates growth, the other destroys. We are making progress but it'll be at a price because people are not finding the government relevant anymore. The only relevance is social equality or private property, both type of people want the government to enforce these ideas yet these people aren't willing to become the change we need.

Its all controversial and debatable and mainstream media picks and chooses who they want (for example ignore many climate skeptic scientists within the NASA community) to promote their government backed agenda. Im at the stance where I dunno and the science is still uncertain (causes anyways) and we will never know. I remember global cooling in the 80's headed by UN criminal Maurice Strom. Then it was global warming. Then it became simply climate change. I especially do not believe government gives a krap to do anything but satisfy their financiers anyways and run their ponzi schemes (can and trade for example) so no matter what we have to take what comes at us. There are trillions of dollars at stake, power to gain and countless corruption (on both sides such as the oil people.) There is evidence of government manipulation of statistics provided to scientists in order to deceive them so they accidentally deceive the public so global public policy gets put in place that doesnt provide solutions anyways.

Your probably right its the Betamax days....Its ok Ill take my time. I gotta buy a house first, who knows Ill end up with a decent condo lol but Im aiming bigger....or maybe Ill still be stuck renting and throwing my money away Then comes solar panels which I certainly have no problem waiting and understanding the market, it wont be the first priority.

Dont knock Betamax....it survived and was produced into 3/2016!!!! Even the players were produced until 2002 which I was also very surprised, I thought those died in the late 80s. I was shocked when I saw this a couple years ago.

I dont know what happened in the last 10 years could have been cooler or the same or just natural change. Stats have been manipulated by governments and special interests, this is a fact that was discovered during the Copenhagan conference several years ago. All they care about is global policies, money and power grabs and will do anything possible to pull it off. It could get warmer, it could get cooler, who knows what the sun is going to do, who knows how much the government is experimenting zapping our atmosphere or if some government starts nuking the crap out of our ozone layer again.

The problem is is that you focus just on governments. I work with lecturers who live and breathe environmental issues, and all agree what is happening now is happening at a rate faster than we could have predicted. They're not "big" government, and these are not internet conspiracists, these are people who earn a humble living studying and observing the environment. So if the guys backing environmental change are not paid 'behind closed doors', and are from all across the globe, then that is a cause for concern. Its all well and good to be scared of the government, but you neglect to mention those that back view points stand to gain nothing from doing so, and provide the raw data in which the govt leans on.

I mean no disrespect, but people who play scientist because they mistrust the government, miss the forest for the trees. It's the same as anti vaxxers who are wrecking havoc in childcares across nations and fail to see the connection between vaccinations and almost a complete wipeout of certain preventable illnesses, and yet they are now making a resurgence because people are making pivotal decisions for their children to go against vaccinations when they simply don't understand the science.

But in all fairness, I met with a climate researcher at Auckland Uni who is not a global warming supporter either. I dont care what causes it (I think ax1 may have misread what i was saying) but im all for cleaning up the environment and making better use of earth minerals. Whether that makes a difference to the environment, who cares. But id like to see a world where I have to wade through an ocean of plastic bags (they discovered an island of plastic bags in the Pacific, bigger than New Zealand).

My original comment was that the climate is changing (normal cycle or not) and so we ned to prepare for more ferocious storms. Did you know at one stage Antarctica was a island of life and trees?
