Cheers

Had a solid chest/shoulder session

Hammer delt press 6x10

Hammer Decline- 6x10

And believe it or not it was enough.....;)

Not hungry at all.....maybe just stick to liquid today....

Cheers

I know I've read it in here somewhere, but what are you taking for joint support?? The volume you're pushing has got to be tough on them old joints. I know how I feel some days, and I'm pretty sure you've got 3 or 4 years on me and Studhorse.

A few years....;)
First off, no workout is set in stone. I always structure it according to how I feel before and during.
Secondly, I've learned over the years, more or less, which specific exercises are easier for me to handle.

My staples are lots fish oil with vitamin e, glucosomine/condroiten/msm... then I alternate in usplabs cissus, nutrabio joint support, flexatril....

Cheers

Exactly. I know what lifts I can do and what I can't do. took me a long time to accept it and the injuries to prove it. got to listen to the body and try new lifts.

Flexeril is the best Joint supplement I have ever taken. I took it for 6 months and have been off for 16 weeks and my joints still feel good. well feel good for my age! lol

There's a lot of stuff that works for a short time, but these 3 work for me consistently....

Day 37
Did my cardio this morning....thought about whining about the humidity....then thought about my buddies in the path of the seriously bad weather......prayers and good thoughts for all....

Did an all arms day today.....worked up a good sweat....very decent weights/high reps....about 6-7 sets each for about 15 reps. Thankfully a couple of off days coming up.
Thinking of doing a deload next week. Sorta...;)

Did:

Hammer precherz 2 hands and 1 handed

Tri oh ext with an awesomely feel good drop set

V bar press downs

Rope hammer curlz

Ez bar reverse curlz

And done.

Btw, don't tell nobody... I weighed myself today...11lbs down in 37 days.... which is truly fantastical at this stage of the game.....shhhhhhh....

Have a great weekend all y'all.....stay safe!

Cheers

Nice work!

seriously great progress!!!! you keeping your strength?

Truth is, I feel stronger than ever....truly weird!
I'm finishing week 7 of pct, so we'll see what happens afterward... I'm hoping that if I keep up the protein and workout (semi) intelligently, I'll get to keep a lot of the strength I gained last cycle....here's hoping;)

Day 39
35 minutes cardio this morning...

Just finished a solid gym session
Yeah, I worked out on a Sunday.....almost never do, the crowds are waq....but I had a significant weight drop last week, and I wanted to make sure it wasn't just a "fluctuation"....... so I started my workout week today. So far it has stuck.....

So this is supposed to be a deload week for me...no other reason than to give my joints a rest....
So I did sets of 5 for medium weights....50-60 second rest...5x5. Yeah that's how I do deload;)
Being the 8th week of pct, I also cut down on my Letrone, which should also help....shizz that stuff is strong!

Did back and traps:

Pull downs
Pull ups - real ones!
Hammer rows
Hammer shrugs
Lower back extensions- 5x20
BB bent rows- 3x20

It was a sweat storm!

Good thoughts for the folk in the path of irma....

Cheers

Day 40
Did about 30 min cardio this morning....

Just finished a 5x5 deload workout...you'd be surprised how much you sweat on 5x5 when you just take 50-60 seconds between sets...

Forgot myself and went a little heavy, but nothing too too....

Just 5 exercises:

Hammer delt press
PecDec
Hammer decline
BB delt press: 5 backsies, 5 frontsies

Haven't been eating much solid food lately... I got an appointment with a grilled steak tomorrow night....hungry or not;)

Stay safe

Cheers

Nice w/o. Oh, cow hunting! We have 7 cows a baby cow and a bull behind us in the field... but that bull. He looks angry all the time.. and seems to face me when I go to the fence. Rude. I just want one. To eat.

One of the best bumper stickers ever:
"I love animals.
Especially with steak sauce!"

You should just jump on him next time. And you should totally get someone to video it for us. You post that, and I'll try to post some highlights from someone riding in the 1979 High School Rodeo. Deal?

Day 42

Did my cardio this morning....about 30min

Had some spicey grilled cow last night.....
I'm considering lowering my Veinquish dose, just to lower the appetite suppression...wierd, huh? Unless it's an all or nothing situation....
I got a drop in the scale AGAIN...DEFINITELY not complaining......but I'm worried that it's a little too fast now....freakin unbelievably hilarious! I'm keeping my protein intake up, so hopefully it's not muscle - not losing any strength - but I have almost no appetite most of the time.....you guys can't fathom how utterly funny that is to me!

Anyhoo...... did back and traps today...for a deload week it felt quite decent.....used much lighter weights, and focused on full stretch and super sloooow negatives. Actually felt therapeutic....

Did:

Cable pull downs

Big boy pull ups

Hammer high row

DB shrugs

BB bent rows

Lower back extensions

Straight arm press downs

I also managed to sneak in some extremely careful dedz....

Gonna drink me some chocolate milk.....not really ....but it taste like it :)

Cheers

Sounds all positive to me :)

Day 43

Did 40 min cardio this morning, hiit style. Fun....

Been hitting all muscle groups twice this week, so it was chest and delts day again. Still in "deload ", do I kept the weights down but had to pump out some decent reps.... Did 5x5-15 for each of only 5 total exercises; with about 50-60 seconds between sets. It was quick but very tiring!

Did:
BB delt press: 5 backsies and 5 frontsies

Hammer delt press

Hammer Incline chest

PecDec

And dats it

Got a new plan of attack: gonna grill up some burgers, chicken, and chuck... I'm sure I'll eat something....:)

Cheers

Day 44

Done did 40 min cardio this morning.....it's getting to be a habit....:)

So I did a 6 day workout week- 6 solid sessions. 2 reasons: it was a much lighter/deload week, and I'm gonna be on the road for while and not sure when I'll get to a gym. I'll definitely get my cardio and some workouts in, but it'll be mostly rubber bands and bodyweight.

All arms day - good weights and all kindsa reps n drop sets n burnouts.....etc

Hammer precherz; 2 arm and 1 arm
BB curlz
V bar push downs
Tri oh ext
Cable oh ext
Dip machine
Db hammerz
Db reverse curlz
Cable hammerz

Lotsa solid work....slow and controlled and full rom. I'm plumb wore out!

Got me some good food waiting, and I'm planning on eating it.

Be safe, have fun, enjoy!

Cheers

I need make cardio a habit. I'm shooting for 2 days a week. Baby steps. Tue. cardio was 15min of stair climbers and I almost fell down when I stopped.
If you are staying in a hotel maybe they will have a few pieces of exercise equipment.

Cardio is a fine line....you need a little to keep you sane, but too much will drive you nuts!
There usually is some kind of gym, but when working on the road, just don't have the energy for it....usually...we'll see...

I hear you! when working on the road all you want to do at the end of the day is eat, get ready for the next day and lay in bed.

You probably need some time off anyways! you have been killing it. probably do you some good!

Day 46

Just poppin by on the way to hitting the road. Kept my cals decent over the weekend and got some solid cardio in. We got a guy who packed a pullup bar and I packed my hd rubber bands, so I'm not too worried.
Clothes fitting ridiculously better, so it's all good.

Cheers
