Beginner with Steroids Questions (Considering Jumping on Roids for Short Cycles.)

Hello there,
I'm 26.5 years old, and 5'7. i train consistently using a 3-day split.

(1)
- If i use steroids to only reach my natural peak or slightly beyond (i find it aesthetically appealing to me to not look supernatural, i like the idea of
growing quicker and getting stronger quicker but lookswise i don't want the bodybuilder look but still build my strength levels).

So, will i be able to keep the strength i gained or most of it if i eat enough calories to maintain my new weight and cut back on my training volume ? example: If i want to go from 200 lbs bench to 250-275-315 or so, since this is natural will i be able to keep it with just eating/training properly ?

(2)
- How much strength/mass can i expect to gain from a short 4-week cycle to keep side effects at bay ?
(i read that even shorter cycles like 2-3 weeks can still be of a benefit esp. to beginners with steroids ?)

(3)
- If i do short cycles like 4-6 weeks max, will i need PCT after 4 weeks or so ? or i can get away with running short cycles ?

(4)
- I also suffer from Male-pattern baldness since my teenage years and it's been ****ing me up psychologically eversince and treatments have stopped working (i'm 26.5 years old now) it's why if i consider steroids i'll go for hair safe steroids than any other ones, and i'm considering a hair transplant but i'll have to quit my consistent training for a while after the transplant and i don't want to go down much since it matters to me to
keep building myself up.

[5] THANKS!
That's it, nothing too aggressive i just wanna get my strength levels up quicker to naturally accepted standards and maintain mainly that strength,

regardless of the size which will vary due to water-weight, glycogen ... etc.

1. You can keep the strength for quite a while in my experience if you continue training and eating well.
2. You can gain quite a bit of size and strength in 4-6 weeks. I think you will keep more and be please with your cycle if you did 8 weeks +.
3. Yes. I would suggest PCT to get your hpta back on track, if you don't you will probably be ok. Just will take much longer to recover.
4. What treatments are you using for your hair?

You will lose a noticable amount of gain after your cycle.

You may not gain a lot of strength or size, it will be way more than you've ever seen in a month but after you come off you'll lose some of what the gear gave you.

Short cycles without a pct are a bad idea.

Hair loss is a androgenic side effect of gear and something like deca could have a lower risk for hair loss it is no guarantee.

I'd personally suggest a full length cycle, or sarms. Sarms will give you the strength/size your looking for with less androgenic sides.

Your ability to keep your gains, in my experience, is directly proportional with the length of the cycle. Short cycles with strong orals may add 15+ lbs in weight and large gains in strength, but you will lose at least half that weight after a week of starting pct. and if hair loss is a serious concern, which it seems to be, I would advise against any cycles, even short ones. And if those are your goals in terms of strength, you will actually likely get there faster without going on a cycle. Simply put, recovering from short strong cycles takes time and you will spend that time trying to hold on to whatever you gained instead of just steadily getting stronger with intelligent training and nutrition. It will cause a yo-yo type effect both mentally and physically. And don’t be fooled, some may take 2 or more months to recover from cycles even with a good pct regimen. And in this time you will be trying to get back to the strength you had while on, and that may not happen for several months, unless you go back on a cycle to further solidify and enhance further gains. See where this is going?

thanks alot guys for the great inputs.
seems like it's not really worth the money or the trouble at least for my thinking and perspective now.
actually in the back of my head i was thinking, if the hair-transplantation thingy didn't work well for me, i'll just shave and get huge. cuz a bald head goes with a kind of bulky or actually bulky physique, especially for a 5'7 guy. so yeah, it's the Hair issue that started this with me (a compensation mechanism) x_x !

4. What treatments are you using for your hair?

generic finasteride + minoxidil 5%, been using them for years, and i started minoxidil at the age of 17! , took finasteride by the time i was 20. saw results but now their effect is greatly gone.

Ppl who know how to eat and train don't loose alot of size when they come off. Ppl who don't know what there doing are the ones who constantly go up and down. When you do it right youl drop a few lbs and loose a little strength and vascularity.

If you are doing a 4 week oral only cycle, with a strong oral such as superdrol, at least 5-10 lbs gained (depending on carb intake) will be glycogen and subsequent water weight. You will lose this coming off. So I suppose technically that will not count as true muscle mass lost, but it will still result in roughly half of a typical 15-20 lb gain being lost.

But regardless, like we discussed in previous posts, it is not worth it in this situation, due to concerns for additional hair loss and also goals that are attainable without the hormonal fluctuations.

Agreed but I was speaking more to real cycles, 12 + weeks and like you said, those 4 week cycles don't build much muscle, it's glycogen and bloat. If anyone has been lifting and put on muscle through hard work in the gym and the kitchen then they go on a cycle of say 500mg test and maybe some oral and put on 15-20 lbs over 12-16 weeks, then they come off and continue to eat for there new bodyweight and train right they won't loose all there gains

Agree 100%. Anyone I know personally that has lost gains (besides the few lbs of glycogen/water) after long cycles lost them due to their own laziness (Purposeful or not).
