Donald Trump running for president

ROFL! I was liberal probably until a few months after Obama took office and I realized how hypocritical they are.

Liberals 2007 under Bush - Wars are evil
Liberals 2008 under Obama - Wars are humanitarian
Liberals 2016 under Dump - Wars are evil...well actually what wars?? Everybody white is a racist!!!!!!!

don't forget liberal democrats were responsible for many confederate statues AND jim crow AND fought segregation in the south.

and don't get me started on jimmy carter-I voted for him....and that was the last time I have or ever will vote for a democrat!!!

carter was to me what Obama was to you, lol.

‘Recipe for disaster’: Ron Paul to RT about Trump’s Afghanistan policy turn

Published time: 22 Aug, 2017 20:33
RT

US President Donald Trump’s plans to increase the number of troops in Afghanistan risk alienating his base and are unlikely to win him any favor with the Washington establishment, says a prominent former member of Congress.

In an interview with RT, former Texas congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul questioned Trump’s contradictory approach to foreign policy.

“Even if he flip-flops and goes along with the neocons, which it looks like he has, he’s not going to win them over. The people who support McCain and Graham and Rubio aren’t going to support him,” Paul told RT, naming the senators from Arizona, South Carolina and Florida known for being foreign policy hawks. “I think he loses in a political way, he loses some of the support from his base.”

Trump’s decision to Invalid Link Removed’ on suspected Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) militants operating in Afghanistan in April has already undermined support he may have garnered among independents and libertarians. His current U-turn, however, may prove to be the straw that broke the camel’s back for many of his supporters - and won’t win Trump any friends among his critics, Paul said.

“There’s a lot of foreign anger directed toward us… [But] Americans don’t lie awake at night fearing that someone from Afghanistan will come and kill them… It hasn’t been happening, isn’t going to happen,” Paul added.

In addition, Trump’s repeated criticism of the US military’s Middle Eastern misadventures under both the Obama and Bush administrations are now coming back to haunt him, as he struggles to tease out an effective strategy for Afghanistan with his national security advisor, General H.R. McMaster.

“His goal isn’t to get it done inside six months or a year; he’s planning to be there for the long-term. He wants to increase the troop levels, and he will, but we don’t know exactly [by how much],” Paul told RT.

Paul believes that rather than adopt the hands-on approach promised by candidate Trump, the president will outsource the majority of the decision-making to his generals.

“It sounds to me like even he wants to give away some of his authority and say ‘some of the generals are in charge. Let them make all the decisions,’” Paul warned, calling it a “a recipe for disaster.”

“Generals are trained to kill people and Trump says we should be killing more people in Afghanistan,” the former congressman from Texas said, adding that it may be more a case of business-as-usual rather than the art of the deal.

“I don’t think there’s anything new. The words are a little different - he says he’s not into nation-building - but that was a pretense anyway; how many nations have we really built or improved?” Paul said. “We’ve torn nations apart. He changes the words and makes it sound like the world will come apart if we don’t continue to be the world’s policeman.”

Trump's 'New' Afghan Strategy: Protect The Empire!

Ron Paul Liberty Report

Did you watch President Trump's big Afghanistan speech last night? We did. And we'll break it down in today's program. Why did he flip-flop on pulling out of the longest war? Are his conclusions sound?

Its all about the Opium/interests ;)

About Afgaistan....

ONE YEARS THEN, you can not go a long way, because what is happening - this is exactly what we have in Iraq, ISIS overcomes all those areas that the Americans had previously "liberated" from Saddam Hussein. That's the worst tactics - pull it out without any strategy ... yes, the mistake was all over there, but once you're there, then do the job, do not get lost in the middle of the job. Afghanistan also ... when they are already there in order to overthrow the Taliban or what it is, then do not leave the Taliban again, what happened in the last months and years, but do the job and then go. Okay, you did, you did ****, but now that **** ****. The only major decision to invade Iraq was the withdrawal from Iraq in the midst of an unobtrusive job that Obman had done.

What Trump has to do now is to clean up the crap that remained after Obmane. And this can not be done by reducing the forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, because the Iraqi and Afghan forces are not strong enough to control their own country.

But this is important - Trump is just a cyst to lose the job he has left Obman in the countries where Americans are already present.

What is most important, and that Trumpa message is clear as a day - there will be NO NEW WARS for the introduction of democracy and dictating the inhabitants of these countries to live in their own countries. This is the message Trump sent and which is very important. Yes, we will continue to be present in the countries we are already in, because the job has not been done yet, but we will not be invading new countries to change the pattern that does not suit us. There will no longer be delusions and lies like "Saddam Hussein has a weapon for mass destruction and that's why we have to get rid of it." There is no longer any introduction of democracy and "Arab Spring".

The only exception to this could be North Korea, I believe I do not have to explain why, because it is a country that, unlike Iraq, Libya and Syria, is primarily a threat to South East Asia and then to all mankind, If you do not want to liquidate a member of your family because he has fallen asleep during his speech, then we do not have to be suspicious of firing a pair of nuclear missiles into any country or even Europe or the United States because there is no illness and crazy, no other explanation.

So Trump tells what he said at the time of the campaign - no more "wars for the" democratization "of Africa, the Middle East or Central Asia, we will be present where we are until we do the job. To their people who will decide for themselves what state they want to live.

I can't even blame Obama for the failures of Iraq...

We were lied into going there o the first place, the country was of no threat to our national security, we were promised it would be a quick easy victory and we would be outa there before you know it. 8 years later and wut????? The war was to be over years before that nasty filth Obama took office in the first place.

ISIS was created when Obama and Hitlery along with Demicans and Republicrats in congress financed billions of dollars arming, training terrorists to overthrow Syria illegally. Then they tell Americans we need to arm Al-queda to fight ISIS the very group we both created in the 70s and 80s, blamed the attack on 9-11 and started all these wars in the first place.

Now all the people that screwed and destabilized the Middle East in the first place have all the answers!!!!!!! RRROOOOFFFLLLLL There is no ethical integrity anymore in these policies, they are all failures and we are now more broke than ever. None of these wars are about "Natuonal Security." There is no intention to end these wars, it's all about oil, opium, rare earth minerals and the MIC's internal economy.

Time to get out this country is 20 trillions of dollars broke...

Our biggest threat to our national security and those that have been stripping away our rights and liberties and have been violating their Constitutional constitutional oath of office are primarily war mongering big bank corporate military industrial complex Demicans and Republicrats in theUS government, not any Muslim country in the Middle East.

Maybe this dead broke country should borrow more money from the brutal Chinese Communist dictatorship and stay the course yeeeaahhhh Dump kick dat arse!!!!!!!!!!! Make America great again ROFL!

Its all about the Opium/interests ;)

They could be honest and be like hey, the US government is supplying the globe and moon with Opium...American tax payers, you all get a tax break and we will also take us out of the deficits! Make America Great! But nooooo....all the money goes to military and CIA black ops, big pharma and also feeding the trillion+ dollar war on drugs farse to keep all that stolen tax payer money feeding the Prison Industrial Complex and meeting or exceeding the minimum occupancy rates.

Americans had previously "liberated" from Saddam Hussein

RRRROOOOOFFFGFLLLLLLLL!!!!

The US installed Saddan Hussein in power in the first place!!!!

I'd like to ask Iraq civilians pre Obama in 2008 (whoever was left alive from compassion tomahawks) how liberated they they felt when bombs of love clusterfuqed all their villages and slaughtered about 1 million people and proclaiming Iraq to be LLLLLLIBERATEDDDDD!!! From being alive!.....hmmmmm....Maybe they thinking they will join some terror group some day and get their revenge??? Naahhhh They love Amerika!!!!!! And they really love all these foreign corporations occupying their "liberated" oil fields!!!! Jobs!

This!
1. who sold bio weapon to Saddam in 80s ?
2. Who used to do business with Osama Bin Laden and his father ?
3. Who actually supported Al Quaida ?

We need to stop being naive and begin facing the truth! This is not Conspiracy theories but truth !
I wish my english was more advanced. I would really love to debate this topic

Huh??
Come on. You should know better since you live in US.
1. Trump is a businessman and do you think he would say bye to opium ? I dont think so!
2.you are talking about US forces helping Afghanistan control their own country.
Why is it not any help at Gaza ? Where is US forces? The "war" has been more than 50 years. Palestinian people throw stones while jewish soldiers answer with rockets, grenades ++.
I live in Norway but even I know american economy is dominated by jews and plenty of other things. So when you do simple math such as 1+1 you understand you get 2. Whats that mean ? It means US forces could stop Gaza conflict after just 24 hours but that would not be popuar in Israel and it would crush American economy...

I would be curious how you would solve the gaza conflict in 24 hours?

OMG just googled that to see whats up..

ESPN has been infiltrated by liberal political interests quite a while ago, but now this has gone way to far.

"24 hours" its just a phrase we use in Norway. :)

I wasn't being mean, I truly don't know how it could be solved. it was difficult enough before hamas, now it seems nearly impossible, imo.

Hamas was actually put up by the Mossad (Isreali CIA) to provide political opposition and division to Yassar Arafat and within the Palestine community.

that is like bringing in mongooses when you have a snake problem...you have just changed problems.

We need to stop supporting the side that keeps claiming to be a victim while slaughtering others. It won't solve the problem, but is a good step in the right direction.

I think and Im guessing because I havent looked deeply into this situation is that if Gaza can make peace with Israel its bad for Israeli business and political influence in Washington.

Keep the conflict going as much and long as possible, Israeli lobby AIPAC continues to fund/bribe our politicians enough and the US tax payer stolen money financing, aid, weapons, technology keeps flowing to Israel as conflict is best way to sell American public why our money keeps going there.

Good to see the anti-jewish sentiment

Right, the poor palestinians

I don't think there is a solution....my ship was involved in the peace conference between carter/begin/sadat, there was a real chance for peace--until sadat was assainated.

I don't claim to have a understanding of the situation...for the life of me I can't understand why most American jews are liberal and vote democrat?

Nazis don't show up to their functions like they do for Republicans? :P

lol...I was being serious, it makes much more sense for jews to be conservative rather than liberal, at least to me...I confess my personal experience with people of jewish faith has been somewhat limited.

Have you guys done the "who do I side with" quiz?

I did and i was strongly suoted to some jennifer (I think) and Clinton. 16% similar to trump.

I feel NZ has way more middle ground options; mo wonder your politics are so polarised.

Try it yourself for US and NZ and see what you get

Believe me my friend. It is not impossible and it is easier than we think if we wanted to stop the conflict..but its complicated due to economy ++

Right, the poor palestinians

It is not any Anti-jewish sentiment or Poor Palestinians.
I am talking about a conflict which could be stopped easy if there was no interests.

Look at the serbia/kosovo conflict.
Serbia wanted to invade Kosovo and USA said stopp. They didnt listen and USA sent bomb planes and bombed serbian targets (weapon places ++). The conflict stopped pretty fast. Kosovo dont have oil or anything so the whole operation was fast in and out.
But Gaza is more complicated..

mmmmm Kosovo was a little more complicated than that. The US had no business sticking their nose in when Serbians had the right to defend themselves. You're leaving the Albanians out of a major part...

Except political quizzes usually narrows it down to selective pre-precieved conditions such as would you be a monkey, a spider or a spidermonkey?

Serbian defending themselves ? Well they wanted to take whole Kosovo and how many serbian lived in Kosovo compared to Albanians ? I Personaly mean US did a great job by stopping the conflict.
It was complicated but the whole.point is US stopped the conflict pretty fast.

Yes, defending themselves against the KLA who were performing ethic cleansing which leads to your second question lol. Are we counting before or after the Albanians attacked and killed or drove out the Serbians? Regardless, the Clintons brought in their own ethnic cleansing and yes, stopped the conflict fast, but genocide tends to do that.

Its more complicated than that..remember when Serbian politicians and serbian people even in capital of serbia said "we dont give our Kosovo". Balkan war a ****ty war where all sides was crazy :)
But my main point is, US did a "fast" job there compared to other wars because its not much interests :)

Believe me, it's not that type of quiz. Try it:

Invalid Link Removed

It is far more complex than a silly facebook quiz (asks about policies you'd like to see, and your stance on a huge range of topics)

I.e. stances on welfare and drug testing, housing and immigration policies, military spending etc. and then aligns you with who promises those. Granted, I don't trust the US version, but NZ politicians are better at keeping promises so it is just good insight

Heheh yea food there is AMAZING. Girls ? I would say one of most sexy yes !
Homemade rakija is killer haha

Weirdest thing I've found is a company making Rakija in southern Texas. They use equipment and fruit out of Belgrade, but distill it in San Antonio, Texas. It's not as strong as you'll get homemade, but it's pretty good!

That's all that CNN or BBC says happens in Gaza.

You know I despise CiaNN aka DumpBashTV and BigBullCrap News Networks but its certainly hard to defend Israel who kicked black people out out of their country because they "endanger their culture" and its illegal to marry Palestinian's.

And off topic but I have to say libtards then vote for Obama along with other establishment interests who take Isreali lobby and gives speeches to AIPAC and libtards but then Obama accuses me of being a racist for locking my doors in a parking lot....

Then libtards think Im a white supremacist for wanting to keep monuments that have been up for thousands of years (might as well call them fossils) because I want to preserve my history and not whitewash our mistakes.

Israel has nice modern shiny nukes and cute clean little outfits to dress their soldiers, Gaza uses bottle rockets and maltove cocktails, 1 is called an army and the other is called a terrorist organization....ohhhh pleeeaaaseeeeee...

They are all craptards in my books (I dont support either side)....not the civilians but the leaderships of both sides. The Israeli government however has certainly has the upper hand by far on levelness of evil, human disgrace and moral nastiness.
