20 years later and I still see that 125 lb kid I was in highschool when I look in the mirror.......older now, but still scrawny.

I posted a pic up in the Radiate thread before I started a cut for vacation where I was at 185 lbs and a little chubby (for me) but dropped down to 165 lbs in 3 1/2 weeks in time for vaca. Sitting at 172 right now.

I wish I had shirtless before pictures... But to he quite frank I was too embarrassed to take my shirt off.

Started at 230lb a little over a year ago.. Reached 233lb around the time I was sitting in front of that computer pick.

First I learned dieting techniques, and found what worked for me, and cut to the top right pic in about 16 weeks.

Then I learned more on training, and reverse dieting, and flexible dieting (happiness? Haha), and currently sitting at the bottom right pic.

I'll still look for a shirtless one.. I have some progress pics 'throughout' my journey I could post lol.

Pretty proud of myself on where I have come in a year! Going to keep building some size and enjoying food while I'm young still haha

I know, right?!? I have the same problem. If I catch myself in the mirror just right (or just wrong) then all I see is that skinny-fat kid. (I was a beanpole through high school and beyond, then gained weight, mostly in my belly, and looked like a bowling pin). No matter how lean I get or how much I build muscle the first thing I see when I look in the mirror is my "before" picture.
 
Wow. I took a stroll down Inspiration Lane today. Great progress, guys and gals. I will work to achieve something worth posting here.

Tell me about it. all i ever see in the mirror is "fat" me. always!!... I know its a problem but its never going to change. Every once in while.. like after a vacation when looking through pics, honestly, I'll be in the pic and not realize its me because in my head I look totally different. Then once I realize its me im like yeah still fat. lol.

This is what keeps us going brothers! Never satisfied is a good thing.
I don't know how many workout partners I have gone through. they get to looking good, find a chick and stop working out. I never got this?
ran into one about a month ago. he is fat, hates life, divorced, 3 kids and alimony. sad.

I wish I had taken more pictures when I first started. And when I take progress pictures now, I crop my head out, otherwise all I see is fat old Sfreed.

So once again, 294 posts on this thread but there have been over 3,800 views. So if you're looking at this thinking that we were all born this way, bullshyt. We're just like you. Look at the pictures in this thread of the people who finally got tired and decided to make it right. You don't have time? We made time. You don't know what to do? We did what we could, and learned along the way. Stop making excuses and start making changes. Be the person who posts pictures on this thread next year.

Agreed....you just gotta really want it. Alot of my past friends are butt warming the couch watching netflix and scarfing down doritos. I'm holding down 2.5 jobs and still do what I gotta do!
