Hell I use cobra grips when I do pull ups. my left forearm has been bothering me for about 6 months now. hell I never take them off unless i'm doing legs or abs.

Sucks getting old, doesn't it. For the last three or four weeks, right elbow kills me any time I do curls.

Compression wrap works great for the elbow I bought one online, use to have 2 but my buddy needed one so I hooked him up
 
Just to clear the confusion....or some of it....this is my version of fatty pull ups.
No assistance. Pull up as far as you can go. Hang there then go some more. Repeat till you get to the top. Takes about 2 breaks on average for me to complete a pull up. From ded hang. No kipping or cheating. About 10 of these before I wanna pass out. These are the pull ups from the darkside....no fun at all.

Funny thing is I can rep out on bodyweight for pulldowns for easy sets if 15.

I do have those fat grips but I only use them for DB work
 
Tank can barely do a singel clean pull up from ded hang....I can fake a bunch, but nothing that'll do me any good. And my days of ego lifting are long gone....
There is a little trick to it.
Don't just pull with your arms, arch the back a bit and try to bring your chest up. Its more in your mind really.
Inverted rows help tremendously too, here a vid.

There is one more trick I can't explain easily -When you hang dead, pull only a few inches while arching the back, basically without bending your arms, its more a movement of the shoulders and upper body. Do 5-6 of them, then pause, then perform a pull up. Has to do with body-mind connection and worked on every one I showed it to.
 
hairygrandpa Thanks for ♤♤♤♤♤. I watch all the youtube stuff and I have enough strength to lift guys twice my size....I was doing inverted rows with a pile of 45s on my abs...it was redonculous! I think I just still have fat guy mentality which I have to get out of my head!

Did my 20 min cardio...actually more like 30 again...
Definitely noticing a difference with this - stuff that drove me plumb batty before now only annoys me slightly or not at all. As swmbo says, I'm annoying the !@#$% outa her being so chilled out!;)
Again; I don't care if it's a placebo effect or not...Im enjoying feeling mellow like!

Heading out to the gym in a few...gonna try something slightly different this week...should be interesting to see what happens....

HIT wore me out so well last week, I decided to stick with it for another week....HOWEVER, instead of just one body part per day, gonna go for full upper body 5 days straight.
Today I averaged about 45 reps per work set; that includes 2 rest pauses and 1 weight drop.

Did:
BB delt press - frontsies
Hammer rows
Hammer shrugs
Hammer decline press
Hammer precherz
Tri oh ext

Solid work. Gotta hope to recover by tomorrow......same split but different exercises.

If this works, might stick with this for a while....just not go all out...moderate the weights a little....

All kidding aside, a dailed in diet with a solid wo program with a slight edge from a good supp will work wonders....even for an older guy;)

Got my cardio in...30 min again ....really wierd :)
No appetite issues thankfully even though I dailed back the cals a tad. Just trying to give this supp a real chance to do it's thing...

Heading out to the gym in a few for another full upper session. I'll see how long I can keep them going daily....

Surprisingly I recovered enough to do another HIT full upper body today....evidently I didn't work hard enough yesterday...;) Did about 35-45 total reps per work set ( 2 rest pauses and 1 weight drop )
I'm really enjoying this, in spite of or because of it ain't easy! And to top it off ....big joy...I got some light dedz in also.

Hammer hi rows
DB shrugs (great range and stretch on these)
Machine chest press
1 handed precherz
V bar press down

My appetite is really down....but gotta eat, right? Don't wanna go back to so many protein shakes....but I might have to...

2 weeks in, eh? First off, no sides or other negs; which is more than I can say for most "diet pills". The appetite suppression is real. The chilled out mellows is real. I'm very wary of cutting cals so as not to lose very hard earned muscle....nevertheless the scale is slowly edging downward. Keeing in mind that this NOT the surge of weight loss experienced at the beginning of a cut - I'm more than 3 years in - this is really very positive.
Ok, back to work...
Did 30min cardio this morning. Still not a lot of solid food going in here - I prepared a whole chicken and a big salad, and it seems it's gonna last me 3 days...at least! Hilarious!

Heading out to the gym in a few. Gonna try for another full upper....

Don't want to lose that muscle. Slow goes it. I don't like to lose more than 3 pounds a Month.
of course this is the guy that is at 196 and still fat. Kind of freaks me out being under 200lb. haven't been that light since college.

Went a little too heavy on cable pull downs so I felt it in my elbow. Thankfully as soon as I finished, it stopped twinging.

I know it will never happen, but since I live in the midwest and pretty much the middle of everything, I'd be totally down to host a giant AM cookout/workout.

Brilliant idea! We used to ride bikes to chicago on a whim, grab a meal and head back. 15 years ago, I woulda almost been there already!

Got called in early to work but still got my cardio in....about 25min.
Did a solid HIT all upper body workout again...40-60 reps per work set...yeah I said 60....nutso!
I'll say one thing - I'm definitely gonna be ready for the weekend gym break!

I just realized today that thankfully most of my usually annoying pct symptoms are gone...for a while already. For that alone it's worth taking this supp! No weepies or irritability, etc.....very thankful for that.....

Day 16 - 250.4lbs
1.4 lbs down this week.......that's gooood.....
Can just imagine what would happen for a normal guy who tracked his macros and cals...;)

Dun did my cardio...30min....
Heading out to the gym for one more heavy/hi rep HIT. Got the whole weekend to figure out what to do next week. I love this way of working out but it's definitely not sustainable for a full 5 day workout week for more than a week or two. For me at least. Without overtraining.
Maybe some hi rep work....

I used to have seperate cardio and weight days. Back then my cardio was insane - some days I'd hit a bag, do stairmaster, run treadmill...for 20 each, all out. These days my cardio is just for health not sweating off the cals....that's all i can handle right now. But there's a 4-5 hour window between my cardio and lifting.
 
Really feeling like I gave it my all today- but in a good way. I got 2.5 days till my next workout. I hope to eat well, rest up, and just do a little cardio over the weekend.

Got me some crispy chicken lined up (almond flour coating with cayenne, garlic, etc -lo carb of course!)....and I plan on enjoying it hungry or not!

So I decided to go for sets of 15s this week; 5-6 per exercise. Decent weights, but light enough to get a good solid full rom 15, even on the last set. Dunno, feels like I really worked out.

Did delts:
Seated BB Press - 3 backsies, 3 frontsies
Hammer delt press
Freemotion seated cable press
Cable side raises
DB rear delt raises
And I was well done!

A fan of mine who lives in my house is making me a big juicy spicy steak for dinner. I better finish it...no excuses! ;)
