On TRT, extra Test-cyp, BW ever 12 weeks, what to do?

As the title says, I'm on TRT (200mg Test-cyp and 1000 IU HCG per week). I do my HGC injections on Tuesday/Friday and my T-cyp injections on Wednesday/Saturday. This dosage/frequency has kept my E2 in check and so I don't have an AI on hand. The way my prescription works out, I pick up 4ml every 3 weeks, but only need 3ml in that time. So far, I've accumulated an extra 4ml this way.

What should I do with this extra T-cyp?

I've read a lot of posts about how T-cyp is "a waste" or "worthless" when used for something like a 4-week cycle (and I think this is how short the cycle would have to be given my doctor wants blood work every 12 weeks). Is this true? Ok, maybe I won't get noticeable visual gains during this short cycle, but surely I would make gains that I would keep when I return to my TRT dose and this wouldn't be wasted?

I'd keep collecting until you can run an 8-10 week blast, then add an extra 100mg or so to your weekly TRT. If you are training and eating enough, you can see great gains with 300mg weekly and avoid most sides that come from going a lot higher so you can come right back to your TRT dose and labs without concern.

This is very appealing, as I'd hopefully just add a third 100mg shot and space it out to try to avoid needing an AI. But, assuming I go to 300mg/wk for the blast, how long would I need to go back to my normal 200mg/wk dosage for my tests to show okay? I worry that 8-10 weeks doesn't leave enough time with my blood work being every 12 weeks.

I drop back to normal TRT dose (for me it is 120wk) for 2 weeks and by the time I go in for labs, I am within range again.

This is great. I have enough on hand now that with my normal prescription pick-ups I should be able to do this blast right after my next blood draw and go for 9 weeks, allowing 3 weeks to come back to TRT levels.

I'm hoping that by going from 2x100mg shots per week to 3x shots per week, evenly spaced, I won't need an AI. Will it be obvious if I'm wrong about this so I can reduce my dosage for ~2 weeks and go see the doc?

Everyone is different, but I would give it at least 2 weeks. I would also do 2x 150mg injections. The point is to keep your levels high, not so much concern about level or even. Worry about that on TRT.

Hmm, I guess since I don't need an AI normally on my TRT dosage, I'm wary of getting my E2 to a level where I would need it and not have any on hand. Do you still think I should just go for 2x150mg and stop if I feel E2-related sides coming on?

To be honest, I don't worry about increased e2 levels on a cycle because it is more about the ratio and when test does up, estrogen will too. I keep an AI on hand just in case, but have not found I get to a point I need one. Keep in mind that you don't want to crush estrogen levels because it will affect gains and can make you feel worse than having it a little higher.

Thanks, man. You've been very helpful. Think I'm going to do the 9 weeks as soon as I do my next blood work at the end of August.

How will you know if you need the AI? what symptoms would be present to constitute the need for one?

I am about to be on TRT myself and will be accumulating extra ML each month too. Also, might hit up a source for a little extra. it sounds like a 9 week blast might be my best bet.

The only true way is through labs. Typical signs outside of that is bloat, irritation, temper, lethargy and brain fog. When on cycle, bloat and water gain is pretty common if e2 is high.

To add, I can tell when my estrogen is getting too high when i feel overly emotional reading bad news or watching a sad film. My nips get puffy too and usually libido drops a bit.

That is true and I don't know how I missed that. If I have a few drinks over the weekend and on cycle, I see it fast. I'll spend the next couple days on the verge of tears reminiscing about my girls growing up, my dogs dying, etc.. haha

This part sounds... not so fun haha
