What to expect from Testosterone Replacement ?

Hello guys, im a new member here. I am 24 years old and recently i got diagnosed with low T. My endo started me off with clomid and after 4 weeks of clomid my test levels went up from 250 to the 900+ range. But even my test levels increased my physical symptoms remained the same (Low energy, low libido, body fat increasing).

So i convinced my Endo to give me TRT and i want to see how my body reacts to that.

I got prescribed with Test Cyp 100mg per week.

My question is what should i expect from TRT in the next 2 months?

PS: im getting married in July, i wanna look really good for my wedding, will TRT help me lose the extra fat that ive gained?
 
For many people trt is a life changer. As in, quality of life.

But dont expect significant body comp changes from trt alone in the short term.
 
should i expect at least like little changes? i already have some decent muscle mass, ive been doing strength training for the last 4 years. Its just recently ive gained some fat and i feel bloated all the time.

Even if i can get rid of a little fat and feel like my old self ill be more than happy
 
Low T at 24? Damn sorry to hear about that. Majority of males are just nearing their test peak which is usually around the age of 27. With the path of TRT that you have taken you should get back on the right track. Best of luck

Any changes the cyp can generate will be magnified by an appropraite diet, obviously.

Sounds like you need to diet properly. 100mg of test cyp a week isn't going to do the work for you. The trt will improve quality of life, but that's about it.

calorie deficit over long periods of time -> weight loss
 
The trt should just bring you to where your hormones need to be, so with that being said, you should see improvement, but it's not going to be results that you'd see from a cycle
 
My only comment is that is it unfortunate you were able to convince your endo to put you on exogenous test when it is apparent that wasn't the issue to begin with. You should stop while you can still come off and determine what is truly causing your symptoms. At 24, you do not want to be on TRT for the rest of your life for no reason.

Your Endo sucks, no 24year old should be prescribed test, he should be trying to fix your problem not put a bandaid on it.
It might sound cool to get legal test but the truth is for the next 50+ years your gonna have to rely on this just to feel normal and get a boner. Go find a legit Endo that wants to get you back to where a normal 24yr old should be, it will benefit you greatly in the long run

There is simply no sense whatsoever by the OP or his doctor.

What about free test? What were your SHBG levels? What about estrogen? Were FSH and LH suppressed? etc.
If you can "convince" your endo to give you TRT (at 24!!!) who's got the doc, you or him/her?

TRT and all that comes with it is a massive deal, in a way it's a far bigger deal than jumping onto a steroid cycle for a couple of months.

Your doc (I won't use the word endo as they aren't, whatever it says on the door!) is treating the symptoms (low test) not the cause (which remains unknown), of course it's going to work (for now at least) and if you were 45+y/o with 3 kids and a fairly clear reason for the low test people would be saying you were lucky to get on so easily.
But you're not, you're barely into adulthood and you're staring infertility, testicular atrophy and sticking a needle in yourself every week for the rest of your life in the face.

Sad to say but your doc does not have your best interests at heart. Get a new one.
