BAD GAS

So I'm bulking on a test e / deca / MSTEN cycle.... and since upping calories etc my gas has been real bad haha! To the point where I don't even wanna be able to smell my own farts

And the smell lingers for long periods of time too

Any ideas on how to help this? Anything I can take?!

Gut is just adapting to the new increase in cals and higher than norm protein intake should settle down 7-10 days.

Mine used to make me run when upping the protein intake, that gut bacteria has a field day... I missed them when they went though, You must embrace the protein farts, they are a natural part of the cycle.

I get that when I drink a glass of milk or eat cheese I'm lactose intolerant, only started 2 years ago from over consuming dairy to bulk. It's Fookin nasty like pure methane.

I'm not really eating a lot of dairy. Don't have milk apart from in my tea/coffee

Have yogurt at night every now and again but not that often really

I used to skip breakfast but lately I have 50g whey and pour this over mini weetabix instead of milk and this send my arse crazy lol

Sounds like lactose intolerance. Are you getting bloated as well?

True, op, change to lactose free milk and yogurt for a while, you won't notice the difference in taste, girlfriends son has it and she says she likes it better than "normal" milk and yogurt, something might be agitating it more in your diet now, worth a go.

The only consistent dairy intake I have is from Whey though
I've used lactofree milk before and it's the same for me
But like I said I only use it in tea/coffee
I never use it in shakes

Stick by my first thoughts, maybe protein excess build up, are the farts very sulphurous.?

How long left on cycle?

Yeah they smell bad man like almost acid like and the smell doesn't go away

Erm 8-10 more weeks

Trust me that's lactose intolerance, it's not from excess protein consumption I recognised it from your first post. I've walked out of the room for 15 minutes and came back and ya can still smell it,, wheys the only thing that gave me it that bad tho. You'll need to get some soy, beef or pea protein.

Evomuse Gut health could possibly help...

Using a new brand protein powder?

DMZ and Epistane give me farts that have a sulfur stench to them. Not sure if M-Sten does likewise as I have never tried it.

But I've been using whey protein for years and never had much of a problem with it

I can eat ice cream and have no problems so I doubt it's the lactose

I'm always using different ones haha. Currently using a naturally stevia flavoured one

I usually get gas like this when I'm consistently consuming more protein that my body is needing, I try cut down a bit or space the dosage out rather than a big hit in two or three sittings.

I love dairy and always drank tons of milk my whole life but for me it just came on all of a sudden at 34 y/o. Started just when I drank whey then just got worse to the point I couldn't even have a sip of milk. Lately I've slowly introduced dairy back into my diet and it's not too bad now but can't consume lots of it yet. Not saying for definite that's what it is just something to watch out for. Tons of people are lactose intolerant and don't know it.

Yeah...there have been quite a few times that I have taken one too many scoops of protein powder only to turn around and blow it right out my ass like a machine gun. Not pretty..
