Day 9
No gym today but I managed to get in my cardio and about 100 pushups throughout the day.

So you buff and ripped folk won't appreciate this, but since high school I haven't gone below a 40-42 waist. So today - for the first time in DECADES - I fit into a size 38 waist! Freakin unreal!

Awesome! Just don't blow it like HIT4ME did. Stay away from Cheesecake.

Day 8 or week 2
I had to deal with some minor inconveniences today - little sleep and some carb stomach issues - but reading AM I see that most people are dealing with something and nevertheless are getting it done, so I got myself to the gym and miraculously pulled off a solid session. Thanks to will power, determination, and 2 caps of Thermo!

It's my 2nd week of 10 rep sets so everything was for 5x10
Machine pull downs
Hammer seated shrugs
Hammer delt presses
Hammer decline presses
Machine seated rows
Hammer precherz
Machine cable tri oh ext

And done!

Hey now. Ok, yeah, you're right ....I blew it. I'm fat again. But, it's better to have leaned and lost than to never have leaned at all...Or something like that.

Got my cardio in but no gym again, so I squeezed in my favorite at home workout - piling heavy odd objects. In back of my home there are a bunch of concrete slabs in a pile between I'd say 70-120lbs each. I just rearranged them for about 25 minutes. A fun time.

Diet is on point....still no cheesecake.

Yeah. When I say cheesecake...I am talking...Like...A little here, a little there, a little more...And then after 2 days you go to the fridge and realize you are the entire thing.

Generally speaking. For "normies". Not for people like me that ice cream, cheesecake, etc are gateway foods. I don't remember ever having just 2 scoops of ice cream....
I would also eat a whole pie and then have no issue stuffing down an extra large dinner. Yeah, I was that guy....

So now I have an occasional scheduled cheat meal, but I really gotta watch my back.

This kind of my focus lately. I am trying to figure out how to fix this. I don't ever get or feel full. You would think my stomach would eventually be full and eating would hurt...But it doesn't. No negative feedback whatsoever.

I realize it has been a lifelong issue and that my parents have the same issue. It obviously has something to do with broken leptin signaling. I mean, most people eventually get sick of eating.

I've been trying to fix this .. I have had random times where I eat half of what I normally eat and feel full and revolt at the idea of eating more...Just can't do it...But it may happen. Twice a year.

Some chick at the gym tells me: hey dude; either stop losing weight or get smaller pants! I almost p'd myself laughing!

So thankfully I made it back to the gym today. I figured I probably can get 1 more in this week so i did delts, chest, and tris today, and hopefully do back and bis next time.

Just want to point out that the "good feeling effect" of Thermo is still in full force. Really makes it easier to give it your all while working out.

Years back I had a buddy wanting to meet me at Bally's, I show up ready to workout looking like my usual bum self, I mean I'm going to sweat. when I walked in they said I couldn't workout with a sleeveless shirt. they actually loaned me a t-shirt. it was a medium. I asked for a large they didn't have any. I looked like I was wearing a shirt from when I was 10years old. actually I fit in with all the other homo's. except my shorts were too long.

Day 12
Solid workout - pushed a little heavier on the weights today since I probably won't make it back to the gym for at least a couple of days so I'll have plenty of time to recuperate. Also, next week I start doing sets of 5 so I wanted to see where my strength was at. Happy to say that as of now there's really no drop off from my andro strength gain.

Did everything for sets of 10
Hammer rows
Machine pulldowns
Hammer shrugs
Hammer precherz
All 5x10

Conventional dedz 3x10
Straight leg dedz 3x 10

And I was outi!
 
Day 13 - 242.3
Yeah, I say! Definitely yeah!

1.7lbs down this week - and there's definitely some recomp going on here. This whole situation is really new to me....totally uncharted territory. I haven't felt this good in forever. (besides not having to consider if a chair is gonna hold me every time before I sit down!)

Tonight i finally get up enough guts to do my required cheat meal - nothing crazy; just carbs instead of high fats, and maybe a few hundy cals above maintenance. Then tomorrow back on.

No gym today but I got in my cardio and I'm going to some rehab work at home.

Hit it Tank!! How low are you wanting to get?

I originally was thinking 230. Now I figure I should go for 220-225; depending how I feel and look. I truthfully don't have that much fat left and I'm not going for the skinned rabbit look. I'm thinking that I'll try to settle in at 225 and then just focus on gaining back some strength and keeping off the fat.
But I still got a while to worry about that. I like making long term plans but I know it's the daily work that does it.
 
Day 15 - Start of week 3
Cardio. Diet on track even though went to a nice birthday party - mine! Had a giant steak and a giant slice of cake; cake was keto friendly and was delicious. Actually felt better sticking to my diet than pigging out!
Tomorrow back to the gym and the start of heavy weeks - sets of 5. Looking forward to being the old guy making the young guys look weak! ;)

Thanks to everyone on this board for helping to make this birthday the best I've felt in years!
