You think I should try to go high reps? Right now it is around 20 to 8 for 6 sets weighted per workout.
If so how many should I shoot for?
Drank this weekend and didn't really track nutrtion. I do know that on Sunday I mainly just drank and didn't eat food until way late at night lol.
Incline Bench Press
45 x 5, 95 x 5, 145 x 5, 5, 14
Decline Close Grip Bench Press 135 x 8, 8 (didn't like it)
Weighted Chin Ups + 17.5 x 8, 8
Seated Cable Row 150 x 8, 8
Body weight dip/face pull (30 pound face pulls) ladder x 1/5, 2/6, 3/7, 4/8, 5/9, 6/10, 7/11, 8/12..back down from 8/12
=72 dips (geez, doing it like this really makes the volume a lot without realizing), 126 Face pulls
Good stuff. Burned 388 calories in a little over 50 minutes.

Ok guys... checked the scale today and back down to 215!!! Finally getting over whatever I had going on with my gut, at about 75% now. However, Attaching a picture , bought me some new jeans and this guy is back in a 32" waist!!!! I started off in a 38 when I first joined AM and a 36 when I subbed into this thread! Super stoked . And FYI, the shirt is an XL Studhorse

Oh man. That is a ton of work. You are working out hard and being consistent. But letting your diet go all weekend?
Are you seeing progress? If you are then I am all for the fun. But if not then we know why, right?
You know, I'm not really seeing much progress. I stick to my diet for 5 days then kind of just say screw it. I think it's because in the back of my mind I know that I don't need to lose a whole lot of fat and I keep thinking "ahhh, it's only the middle of January. I could reach my goal by the middle of March if I stuck with it". It's my own fault for sure. I should probably set a more modest deficit like 500 calories because I think when I do the days of 1000-1300 it just makes me super hungry the next day.
At least the workouts have been fun! Tomorrow's squats and then some more pullups/pushups ladders. Woooo!!!!

i weighed myself this morning and i'm actually up in weight. i was 176. Took a picture as a "starting" point and from here on out i'll try to make continuous progress instead of backpedaling! thanks for the kick in the nutz!

I'll tell you what bros... I really fcked myself on vacation!!! I was off 10 days and didn't get enough protein, drank way too much, ate like sh1t etc...
I'm down ~4 lbs and my gut looks a little bigger.
My lifts are down... idk how it's possible to lose muscle mass that fast... wtf!
Got on the scale this morning and saw 214lbs. Still have a bit of stomach distention from the food poisoning, but feeling much better. Hit legs today for the first time in a month or so(since I hurt the knee) it was fairly quick but felt great, that is until I tried to get into the fire truck....no bueno.

Hit legs today for the first time in a month or so(since I hurt the knee) it was fairly quick but felt great, that is until I tried to get into the fire truck....no bueno.

Looking good! my XL is a little looser! cangates on the 32" waist. dam. I'm a 33" I'm around the corner, maybe if I quit growing all this muscle! lol

Didn't go to the gym but I did do 25 minutes of cardio on incline treadmill. Burned a couple hundred calories. I also kind of figured out why I gained a few pounds this last week. I started taking creatine again last week so probably just holding onto some water now. Makes sense! I was wondering why I looked just as lean and none of my measurements went up but weight increased.
Non training days are boring. Tomorrow will be good though! Got some OHP so I'm looking forward to it!
