Awesome! I love your Gym set up..

Thanks man! It looks so dirty in pics for some reason. It was just cleaned, it really isn't that dirty at all! The chalk is what is hard to control with the dust and all. I love adding pieces to it and having a place to train that is my own.

Great log THE MONSTAR . Your gym looks like the setup I use almost exactly. Lat pull down/cable machine, power cage, heavy weights, a dipping/hyper extension machine and a heavy duty utility bench. Oh, yeah, and I have a leg press :)

But...you have muscle, and I don't haha.

I want a glute ham raise machine real bad. They are just so expensive! Leg press would be fun to have just to hit the legs in a new way. I usually add a few things every year so it just keeps evolving and improving. The pics don't do it justice, its a great setup!

I'm in Lutz Fl (right outside of tampa). We bought our house as a shortsale at the right time and came out like bandits. Massive 2 car garage, pool, pond/lake behind it, some land so we aren't right on top of our neighbors. Got very blessed. I hear you though, buying a house is tough. I definitely feel it surging now that I am in my 2nd bottle. These next few wees are going to be fun!

Ya I'm doing 4/day with 2 caps preworkout on lifting days. I really like it so far. Strength is climbing and I feel thicker.
 
Man, great session today. Been pretty weird emotionally for the past 2 days for some reason. Feeling more like a delicate flower than a monster so when it was time to lift today I made it a point to beat the weakness out of me. Don't know why people pay for therapy lol, this stuff does the trick every time.

Last week was great for all sessions. Doubles PR's on all three main lifts, which isn't out of the norm for that week of the training cycle but they were all super fast and convincing PR's. Epidrone is definitely in it's sweet spot. I cant wait to see what gets put up these next 2.5 weeks, gonna be crazy.

HUGEST bench session of my life today. 495 was planned but everything felt so good during warmups I went off script (which I rarely ever do) and called for the 500 ive been chasing for 10 years. I nailed it! Super elated and have been on a high from it all day. So much work has gone into this and it is only the beginning. Not sure how I will approach the next two weeks with bench, going to play it by ear. This training cycle is a huge one as far as milestones are concerned, I am glad I have had the epidrone along for the ride. The extra edge to go on top of the hard training, big eating and proper rest/recovery has been a great help. This stuff has been fun to be on, no sides and a nice size/strength boost. The fun part of the training cycle has officially begun and I cannot wait to see how things shake out!

This is the thing - no one knows how long things take. We all have periods of motivation, ups and downs - but to stick it out for 10 years and keep progressing....Not many will ever have what it takes to do that.

The thing that is REALLY incredible is the number doesn't matter. You could have told them 600. In another 3-4 years you could be there ...The dedication over time is what matters. And your fortitude is obviously top notch.
 
I missed my deadlift attempt today. Went for a 5lb PR and completely bombed. Got it mid shin, felt like it was bolted to the freakin ground. I am pretty shocked honestly, should have been extremely do-able. I just flat out didn't have it today. Pretty much feeling the opposite of what I was feeling on Saturday after bench lol. Confidence is a little shook and I am definitely in one of those don't talk to me moods but I have been here before and I always respond. Tonight will definitely not be fun though lol, so much festering frustration and I feel like I wasted one of my prime training sessions during these last 3 important peak weeks. I will reattempt this next Monday and hope to salvage this training cycle on deadlift with a 5lb PR.

I appreciate this. 10 long years man. Set backs, minor injuries, failures, missed reps, trial and error, everything. It isn't easy but you should never want it to be. The journey teaches you so much. Just have to embrace it, learn from what it gives you, adapt and above all else never lose that fire to keep getting better no matter what that might take.

That's the thing about deads. They can totally get in your head for some reason. I've had weights I've deadlifted that one day I just couldn't budge from the floor. It can be hard - sometimes I stop and try to psych myself up and tell myself it is mental and go back and it still won't budge. Not even a PR...Weight I did a week before. You just can't will past it sometimes.

Bench presses and even squats don't have this same phenomenon. Even when you fail with a weight you know you can do on those exercises, it doesn't get in your head the same.

The satisfaction didn't last long lol, never does, but ya I was pretty fired up about it!

I deadlifted again yesterday. Decided to go for the same weight I missed on Monday. I got it to about an inch from lockout and I just couldn't push through to finish it off. Another miss unfortunately. I am proud of myself for having the balls to attack it again only a day later though. It will happen next Monday.

My appearance is definitely improving. I look bigger and even leaner. Cant complain. Epidrone is definitely a solid product with no sides, perfect for all kinds of different lifters/goals and ph experience levels.

It dawned on me I broke a cardinal rule and something I preach to everyone not to do: I changed/added things to my training in the middle/end of my training cycle. I got that cable station for Christmas and out of excitement added 4-5 sets of pulldowns to my upper body days and 4-5 sets of low cable rows to my lower body days. I was wondering why my upper back and lats felt so fatigued during deads and were making it hard to get locked in, now I know why. I knew this wasn't a strength issue, I simply made a change in my programming at the wrong time during this training cycle. Problem solved, Monday there will be a new deadlift PR...

I ended up hitting that 5lb deadlift PR on Monday. The pull took about 10 seconds but I locked it out lol. I am supposed to go for a squat PR tomorrow but I don't think that attempt will take place. Not sure if I will even lift to be honest. I am fighting off quite a few minor injuries and don't know if I want to risk it. I basically took 7 total max deadlift attempts over the course of a 7 day period lol, my body is wrecked. I made some super stupid moves this training cycle and they caught up to me big time. I hit a huge milestone on bench and will come out with a 5lb deadlift PR so I cant be too disappointed but still, I expected a little more out of myself. Time to dial it back for a few days and let myself heal a little.

I am finished with the epidrone. Overall its a solid product that I would recommend. Several solid applications for this stuff. My recommended use would be to use it stacked with a harsher compound. For new ph users it is a solid stand alone product though, definitely can be used by itself.

Would like to thank FireTitan again, appreciate the hook up and for always being in my corner. BPS makes some quality stuff and I see they are expanding their line so definitely keep an eye on them, it seems they have some big stuff coming. 750. Got it on the 7th attempt of the week lol. My body is shot. I know I need to rest but I want to squat so bad today lol. I will most likely take today and Saturday off and start my new training cycle on Monday. Its almost impossible for me to stay out of the gym though so who knows what I will end up doing, hoping I can convince myself to play it smart for once and actually relax a little.
