Mental Sharpness Supplement

I seemed to have lost my focus over the past week and my mind just doesn't seem to be with it. I'm already taking Alpha-GPC, ALCAR and Alphamine Pre-workout but they don't seem to be helping. Any noot or other focus enhancing supplement suggestions?

Thanks

What doses of each are you using? You could try adding some huperzine and/or Noopept/piracetam as well.

Also, are you under a lot of stress and/or not getting a lot of rest? That will take a toll on focus for sure. Adaptogens like rhodiola can help as well, especially if you're under a lot of stress.

I'm currently on
900mg of Alpha-GPC per day
2g of ALCAR per day
5 AlphaMax XT

I'm getting enough rest, 7-8 hours 4 nights per week and and 8-10 3 nights per week. I've got all of the usual stresses but nothing out of the ordinary. My head just isn't "with it", it's quite disorientating.

Which would be better for mental sharpness/focus, Noopept, Huperzine or Piracetam?

You can add Hup A and NALT to that. Also, save your money, Alpha GPC that high is not needed.

This, but I'd say l-tyrosine > NALT. Almost all of the promising studies used l-tyrosine, and the minimal comparisons between the two point to l-tyrosine being superior. I remember Cooper talking about it a while ago.

I didn't notice any acute benefits from bacopa, it's more of a cumulative supplement IMO.

I'm partial to nasal noopept, my favorite boot for instant gratification lol

DIY pre workout combo:

200mg caffeine
500mg green tea extract
250mg CDP Choline (citicoline)
10mg noopept
50mg forskolin

good focus, concentration, and energy and no crash after.

You need to find your sweet spot for sleep and stick to it.

If it's 8 hours, then it is 8 hours. You need to set a schedule and stick to it. My productivity increased a lot once I stuck to my 10pm - 6am schedule for sleep.

As for supps:

Focus XT - Honestly for $18-22, that's 30 scoops of 10g of actives.

If you don't want the all in one:

Noopept
Huperzine A
Choline Source (CDP is best)
Bacopa

There are many things that can effect the effectiveness of nootropics or your basic "brain-boosting" supplements. Even something like poor sleep or stress can decrease effectiveness. I always recommend stacking ephedrine (bronkaid) with any cognitive stack, helps a lot. Realistically tho you have to get pharmaceutical to really "feel" anything. Something like ALCAR isn't going to make you "feel" anything but it works nonetheless.

My typical stack:
Focus XT
ALCAR
ephedrine
caffeine

Thanks for all of the responses guys. Will definitely be looking into getting myself some Noopept and I'll reduce my Alpha-GPC too

Stim free xt? Or do you regularly take 400mg caff and bronkaid?

1 scoop Focus-XT and 100mg Huperzine every morning before cardio, feel great.

300 mg agpc
10-20 mg noopept
100mg caffeine
250-500 mg L-tyrosine

That is ideal for motivation, brain fog, and sustained energy, imo.

First thing I would do is cut back on Alpha GPC, though. That's a high dose and at a certain point too much choline can cause brain fog and lethargy.

BLR is coming out with their new nootropic, I tried out a month and loves it. Check the BLR thread for more info.

I hear that BLR and PerforMax are bringing out Noots soon. But that doesn't help much now and things like that take even longer to reach the UK
